The 11 tools reviewed
Eindhoven, Netherlands
Per employee per month, integrations and security included: Flow €6.50, Momentum €9, Compound on request. Per-head discount from 100 employees and for multi-year contracts (checked on treams.com, 2 November 2026).
No free trial; demo and a test environment set up for your company
Best for: Managers and HR teams that want one performance layer on top of an existing HR system
Treams, from Eindhoven, is the closest match to what a team looks for when it asks for alternatives to Learned as performance management software. It covers performance reviews and 1:1s, feedback, goals and OKRs, 360 feedback, engagement and eNPS surveys, competencies and job profiles, and live talent review with succession planning and multiple talent grids on its highest plan.
Prices are published per employee per month: Flow is €6.50 and is aimed at managers, Momentum is €9 and is aimed at HR, and Compound is on request and is aimed at talent and strategy. The vendor says integrations and security are included, with a volume discount for organisations of 100 or more employees and a loyalty discount on multi-year contracts. Treams B.V. states ISO 27001 certification and hosting on AWS in Ireland.
AI is in every plan. Flow prepares and gives insights for conversations, and Momentum records, transcribes and summarises them and adds an AI sparring partner. The homepage describes the aim in one line: managers stay close to their teams through 1:1s, feedback and goals.
The plan structure is different from Learned, which sells job architecture and compensation as separate steps next to performance. Treams stays on performance, engagement and talent, so it does not replace job architecture or salary reviews. Testing goes through a demo and a test environment rather than a free trial.
What Treams does well
- Reviews, 1:1s, 360 feedback, engagement and 9-grid talent review in one tool
- Per-employee prices published, with integrations and security included
- AI in every plan, stated not to be trained on customer data
- ISO 27001 and EU hosting on AWS in Ireland
- HR and payroll integrations including AFAS, Nmbrs, Visma, Youforce and SD Worx
Where Treams falls short
- No payroll, absence, recruitment, job architecture or salary review modules
- No free trial, a demo and test environment instead
- Compound pricing on request
- Integration list centres on Dutch HR and payroll systems
Standout feature. A dedicated performance layer with public per-employee prices and AFAS among its named integrations.

Best for: Companies of roughly 50 to 750 staff that want a focused review tool with public prices
Small Improvements is a Berlin performance review product covering reviews with calibration, 360 feedback, objectives, 1:1 meetings with shared agendas and action items, and confidential pulse surveys. Its pricing page lists Launch at $3, Grow at $6 and Elevate at $9 per user per month on annual billing, with a 30-day free trial.
The tiers matter: 360 feedback and 1:1 meetings start on Grow, and the full objectives feature set is on Elevate. Minimums are 20 users on Launch and Grow and 30 on Elevate, and volume discounts start at 200 active users on Elevate. The vendor positions the product for 50 to 750 staff.

Free plan for up to 5 users
Best for: Teams that run performance around company goals and OKRs
Perdoo, from Hamburg, starts from goals rather than review forms: OKRs, KPIs, strategy maps and check-ins sit at the centre, with performance reviews, pulse surveys and an AI coach around them.
