Sebastiaan started European Purpose in February 2026, after looking for European replacements for the US software he was using and finding no list that checked where a company was actually established. He researches and writes the reviews on this site, and verifies each vendor's jurisdiction and hosting claims against the company's own documentation rather than its marketing. He also handles the commercial side of the site, including the paid placements disclosed above every category list — which is why those disclosures exist.
