European Alternatives to Moz
Looking for a European alternative to Moz? Moz Pro and Moz Local are contracts with SEOmoz, Inc., a Delaware corporation, priced in US dollars with New York governing law, and Moz's privacy policy states that it is owned by Ziff Davis, Inc. and shares data with other Ziff Davis companies, including for targeted advertising.
Eleven European tools cover the small-business job: keyword research and site health for beginners, local listings and Maps rank tracking, dedicated rank trackers, link metrics and crawling, from companies in Denmark, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Romania and Sweden.
How we rank these tools — 4-step process
-
1
European ownership, verified
The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA or Switzerland, and processes customer data in Europe. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.
-
2
Category fit and hands-on review
What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.
-
3
Compliance and pricing check
GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.
-
4
Position on this page
Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Paid placement can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. Editorial policy

Key takeaways
- Moz is a contract with SEOmoz, Inc., a Delaware corporation, in US dollars, under New York law, with no refunds and, for US billing addresses, arbitration in New York.
- Morningscore (Odense) is the nearest beginner-friendly replacement for Moz Pro: Lite is $69 a month with 2 users, 3 websites and daily tracking of 100 keywords, with 14 days free and no card.
- BrightLocal (Brighton, UK) and Localo (Wroclaw) are the two for Moz Local work: Maps rank grids, listings or citations, and reputation or review tools, from $41 and $49 a month for one location or business.
- Seobility (Nuremberg) has a free-forever plan with 1 project and 10 tracked keywords, and its paid plans run from €59.90 a month plus VAT after a 14-day trial.
- AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking and Wincher are rank trackers first; AccuRanker and Advanced Web Ranking list their prices at $224 and $139 a month and up, which is more than Moz Standard.
- Eight of the eleven are EU companies and three are British; ten of the eleven have a free plan, free account or trial, and AccuRanker is the one that asks you to request a demo.
Why people leave Moz
Moz is the name most small businesses meet first in SEO. Domain Authority is its metric, Moz Pro is the subscription suite for keyword research, rank tracking and site crawls, and Moz Local manages business listings and review replies for local search.
Moz Pro lists Standard at $99 a month ($79 on yearly billing) for one user, three tracked sites and 300 tracked keywords, Medium at $179 ($143 yearly) and Large at $299 ($239 yearly). Moz Local lists Lite at $20 a month, Preferred at $30 and Elite at $40, with lower yearly prices.
The contract is with SEOmoz, Inc., which the Moz Pro conditions describe as a Delaware corporation. Fees are quoted in US dollars, subscriptions renew automatically, and the conditions say the company will not provide refunds at any time.
Customers with a US billing address agree to binding arbitration in New York City with a class-action waiver, and the conditions are governed by New York law.
Moz's privacy policy says Moz is owned by Ziff Davis, Inc., that it shares information with other Ziff Davis companies including for targeted advertising, and that you can opt out by writing to privacy@moz.com. Transfers from the EEA rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where Moz is certified, and on standard contractual clauses.
This page is for the small-business use of Moz: a handful of sites, a local business with Google Maps rankings to watch, and a person who does SEO alongside another job. Eleven European and British tools qualify. None is a one-to-one clone of Moz Pro plus Moz Local, so the sensible answer is often one tool for keywords and tracking and a second for local listings. Agency link-analysis tools are covered on the Semrush and Ahrefs pages.
- The contract is with a Delaware company, under New York law Moz Pro and Moz Local are sold by SEOmoz, Inc. Fees are in US dollars, the conditions are governed by New York law, and a customer with a US billing address is sent to individual arbitration in New York with a class-action waiver. The European tools below contract with companies in Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Sweden, or in the UK, with courts and laws you can look up in a register.
- No refunds, and renewals happen on their own The Moz Pro conditions say fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable and that you are responsible for acting before renewal if you do not want to renew; Moz Local locations renew annually. Several European tools publish a trial or a refund window instead: Morningscore and Localo offer 14 days free, Advanced Web Ranking a 30-day money-back guarantee, Majestic seven days on Lite and Pro, and Mangools a full refund within 48 hours.
- Ownership and data sharing are stated in the privacy policy Moz says it is owned by Ziff Davis, Inc. and shares your information with other Ziff Davis companies, partly for targeted advertising, with an opt-out by email. That is lawful and disclosed, but it is a data flow a European tool that sells only SEO software does not have. Check the privacy policy of whatever you switch to, too: Morningscore, Seobility and AccuRanker name a controller in their own country.
- Small-business pricing is not always smaller Moz Standard at $99 is not the cheapest way to track 300 keywords. Morningscore lists a Lite plan at $69 a month with daily tracking of 100 keywords, Localo lists $49 a month for one business, and Seobility has a plan that costs nothing. At the other end, AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking and Sistrix cost more than Moz, and they are better value only if tracking is the main job.
What you have to replace, not just match
Split what you use Moz for. If it is keyword research, rank tracking and a site health score, Morningscore, Mangools or Seobility replace it at similar or lower prices.
If it is Moz Local, meaning listings, review replies and a Maps view of your rankings, replace that with BrightLocal or Localo. If it is Domain Authority, no European tool produces the same number; Majestic's Trust Flow and Citation Flow are the nearest link metrics, and you should expect a different scale.
Export your keyword lists, ranking history and reports from Moz before you cancel, since the Moz Pro conditions give no refund for unused time. None of the eleven pages states that it imports Moz data, so plan to re-enter keywords by hand or by CSV. Run the new tool alongside Moz for a month so you can compare rankings, then cancel Moz before the next renewal date shown on its Subscription and Billing page.
The alternatives compared
| Position | Tool | Headquarters | Pricing | Jurisdiction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #2 | Mangools | Bratislava, Slovakia | From about €29/month (annual) | EU (Slovakia) |

| #7 | Advanced Web Ranking | Bucharest, Romania | From about $99/month; scales with tracked keywords | EU (Romania) |
| #8 | Majestic | Birmingham, United Kingdom | Lite €46.99/month (€39.16/month billed annually) / Pro €94.99/month (€79.16/month annually) / API €379.99/month (€316.66/month annually); all prices exclude VAT | United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA) |
| #9 | Screaming Frog | Henley-on-Thames, United Kingdom | Free up to 500 URLs / £199 per year for unlimited | United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA) |
| #11 | Sistrix | Bonn, Germany | From about €99/month per module; bundles available | EU (Germany) |
How each alternative compares to Moz
Morningscore
the nearest beginner-friendly replacement for Moz Pro, from Odense
Best for: Small businesses and one-person marketers new to SEO who want a to-do list as much as a data tool
The service is provided by Morningscore ApS, Rugardsvej 55 A, 1. tv., 5000 Odense C, Denmark, VAT DK39311437. Its privacy policy names Morningscore ApS as the company, and its footer links a terms page, a privacy policy and a data processing agreement.
Every plan has the full toolset: daily rank tracking, keyword research, backlink data, competitor comparison, an SEO health score, and AI features such as a ChatGPT tracker and an AI Overviews tracker. Lite is $69 a month with 2 users, 3 websites, 100 daily tracked keywords and 25 keyword researches a month. Business is $99 with 500 keywords, Pro is $159 with 2,000 and Premium is $299 with 5,000, and a 14-day trial needs no credit card.
Its own FAQ says it does not offer as many tools as Ahrefs or Semrush, and that it crawls Google and ChatGPT only. The "missions" list turns audit findings into prioritized tasks, which is the part a small team gets the most from.
What Morningscore does better than Moz
- Danish company named in its own terms and privacy policy, where Moz is a Delaware company under New York law
- Lite at $69 is below Moz Standard at $99, and includes 2 users where Moz Standard includes 1
- 14-day free trial without a credit card
- Prioritized SEO tasks built into the product
Where Morningscore is a step down from Moz
- Lite tracks 100 keywords daily, where Moz Standard lists 300 tracked keywords
- Covers Google and ChatGPT only, by its own account
- Reports and CSV export of backlinks are limited to higher plans (full report tool from Business, backlinks export from Pro)
- Not a Domain Authority replacement, and no local listings product
Standout against Moz. It turns SEO findings into a ranked to-do list and puts the whole toolset in every plan.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Slovakia). SEOmoz, Inc. (Moz) is incorporated in Delaware, United States, and run from Seattle, United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. EU.
- Source code. Closed source, as Moz is.
Best for: Freelancers, bloggers and small sites that mostly need keywords, SERP checks and rank tracking
Mangools is the product name of CodeCat s.r.o., Obchodna 2, Bratislava, company ID 44550804. The terms are governed by Slovak law, with the District Court Bratislava I for business customers, and the footer lists a Data Processing Agreement.
The suite is KWFinder for keyword research, SERPChecker for SERP analysis, SERPWatcher for rank tracking, LinkMiner for backlinks and SiteProfiler for domain metrics, plus an AI Search Watcher. A free account lets you try the tools, the FAQ promises a full refund within 48 hours of payment (not for two consecutive subscriptions), and subscriptions renew automatically.
The pricing table is loaded in the browser, so no figure is quoted here. Compare the plan limits for tracked keywords with what you track in Moz.
What Mangools does better than Moz
- Slovak company under Slovak law with a published data processing agreement
- Free account to try before paying
- Separate tools for keywords, SERPs and tracking that are quicker to learn than a full suite
- 48-hour refund window, where Moz Pro says it never refunds
Where Mangools is a step down from Moz
- No local listings or review management, so it does not replace Moz Local
- No Domain Authority equivalent with the same industry recognition
- Prices could not be read from the pricing page and are not shown here
- Site auditing is lighter than a dedicated crawler
Standout against Moz. It splits SEO into five focused tools with a free account, so a small site can use only the ones it needs.
BrightLocal
the closest in purpose to Moz Local, from Brighton
Best for: Local businesses, multi-location owners and agencies that care about Maps rankings and listings
BrightLocal Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 10384626, with its registered office at First Floor, Huntingdon House, North Street, Brighton. Companies House lists Brightlocal Services Ltd as the person with significant control, holding 75% or more. The terms apply English law and the English courts, and say consumers outside England and Wales keep the protection of the law of their place of residence.
The site lists a Local Search Grid, a Local Rank Tracker, a Citation Builder (from $2 a citation), a Citation Tracker, a local AI visibility tracker and free tools such as a Google review link generator. Plans are priced by the number of locations: for one location, Track is $41 a month, Manage $54 and Grow $65 on monthly billing, and $31 a month for Track billed yearly. A free trial is offered.
It is a local-search product rather than a general SEO suite, so it pairs with another tool if you also need a keyword database or a site crawl. Which features sit in which tier is not shown in plain text, and the length of the trial was not stated.
What BrightLocal does better than Moz
- Local rank grid, citation builder and citation tracker in one product, with citations bought as needed
- English company with a verifiable registration and published English-law terms
- Prices listed per number of locations, which suits multi-location owners
- Free trial and free local tools
Where BrightLocal is a step down from Moz
- Outside the EU and the EEA, though covered by the UK adequacy decision
- Not a general SEO suite: no site audit or large keyword database on its pages
- Entry price at $41 a month for one location is above Moz Local Lite at $20
- Ultimate ownership of the group was not verifiable
Standout against Moz. It is built only for local search, so grids and citations are the product and not an add-on.
Localo
a Google Business Profile tool for local owners, from Wroclaw
Best for: Single-location businesses and small agencies that win or lose on Google Maps
Localo sp. z o.o. has its seat at Plac Solny 14/3, 50-062 Wroclaw, Poland, registered in the National Court Register under KRS 0000880128, with NIP 8971887866 and REGON 388000462. Its Regulations name PayU S.A. as the payment operator.
The product tracks Business Profile positions for local keywords, audits your profile, publishes content with AI, and manages reviews. Business is $49 a month ($39 on yearly billing) for one business and Pro is $169 ($149 yearly) for agencies, both excluding VAT, with 14 days free and no card needed.
Its pages describe a Google-profile tool. They do not list site crawling, a keyword database or backlink analysis, so it replaces Moz Local more than Moz Pro. The governing law of its Regulations could not be checked.
What Localo does better than Moz
- Polish company with full register details in its Regulations
- $49 a month for a single business, with 14 days free and no card
- Rank tracking, audits and review management aimed at Maps visibility
- Prices shown excluding VAT, so what you pay in the EU is clear
Where Localo is a step down from Moz
- Narrow scope: no website audit, keyword database or backlinks on its pages
- Pro at $169 for agencies is priced above Moz Local Elite and Moz Pro Standard
- Does not publish listings to a stated count of directories the way Moz Local does
- Governing law could not be verified
Standout against Moz. It is built around one Google Business Profile, and the whole product follows from that.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). SEOmoz, Inc. (Moz) is incorporated in Delaware, United States, and run from Seattle, United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. Germany.
- Source code. Closed source, as Moz is.
Best for: Owners of one small site who want to start without paying and a site audit that explains itself
seobility GmbH is at Willy-Brandt-Platz 16, 90402 Nuremberg, registered at Amtsgericht Nuremberg under HRB 26545, with Matthias Lugert as managing director. Section 16 of the terms applies German law exclusively and names Nuremberg as the place of jurisdiction to the extent allowed. The tool page on this site lists Bayreuth, which the imprint does not support.
The free Basic plan gives one website project, 10 tracked keywords, 5 daily tool credits, a limited audit of 100 pages per crawl and 3 AI prompts. Paid plans after a 14-day trial are Premium at €59.90 a month, Professional at €99.90 and Agency at €209.90, plus VAT, with extra keywords sold as monthly add-ons per 100.
Seobility also has a page for local businesses. The free plan is limited in keywords and crawl depth, and the cheapest paid plan costs less than Moz Standard.
What Seobility does better than Moz
- Free forever plan with no credit card, where Moz only offers a trial
- German company with commercial register number and German law
- Premium at €59.90 a month is lower than Moz Standard at $99
- Audit, ranking monitoring, backlinks and uptime monitoring in one suite
Where Seobility is a step down from Moz
- The free plan tracks only 10 keywords and 100 pages per crawl
- No local listings product, so it does not replace Moz Local
- Paid plans cap keywords, and extra keywords are billed monthly per 100
- Backlink monitoring is a plan feature, not a full link index to explore
Standout against Moz. A permanent free plan with a real audit makes it the cheapest honest way to test whether you need a suite.
AccuRanker
fast, daily rank tracking for professionals, from Aarhus
Best for: SEO consultants and agencies that track thousands of keywords and report to clients
AccuRanker ApS is registered with the Danish Business Authority under company number 32932215 (VAT DK32932215), at Aaboulevarden 22, Aarhus. Its terms are governed by Danish law, and the privacy policy says data is currently hosted in Germany.
It is a rank tracker with daily updates, keyword research, search intent, tagging, Search Console and Analytics connection and reporting. On the pricing page Professional is $224 a month from 2,000 keywords and Expert is $764 a month from 10,000 keywords, with Enterprise on request. There is a "Request a demo" button; no free trial is shown.
It is a specialist and priced as one. A small business that tracks a few hundred keywords will pay far more than for Moz Standard.
What AccuRanker does better than Moz
- Plans sized in thousands of keywords with daily updates and reporting
- Danish company with a published company number and Danish law
- Data hosting in Germany stated in the privacy policy
- Includes Search Console and Analytics connection and an API on higher plans
Where AccuRanker is a step down from Moz
- Entry price of $224 is more than double Moz Standard at $99
- No free trial visible, only a demo request
- No local listings, no site audit and no link index
- Prices are shown in US dollars, which may differ for you
Standout against Moz. Daily, high-volume rank tracking is the entire product and the reason to choose it.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Romania).
Best for: Agencies and consultants who track rankings for many clients and want unlimited projects and users
The terms and privacy policy name Caphyon S.R.L., Str. Ana Ipatescu Nr. 51, Dolj, Craiova, Romania, as the provider. The terms say the agreement is governed by the laws and jurisdiction of the defending party, and the privacy policy names 2Checkout (Verifone) as an authorized payment processor. The tool page on this site lists Bucharest, which the policy does not support.
Pro is $139 a month for 7,000 keywords with unlimited projects and users, local and mobile rankings, AI visibility tracking and shareable reports. Agency is $279 for 14,500 keywords and an Enterprise tier is on the page, with a 10% saving on annual billing. Every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee and there is a free trial.
It is a rank tracker and reporting tool, so it does not replace the keyword research and local listings that Moz also sells.
What Advanced Web Ranking does better than Moz
- Unlimited users and projects, where Moz Standard has one user and three sites
- Local and mobile rankings and AI visibility tracking
- 30-day money-back guarantee, where Moz Pro says it never refunds
- Romanian company named in its terms, with a clear defending-party rule for disputes
Where Advanced Web Ranking is a step down from Moz
- Pro at $139 costs more than Moz Standard at $99, and is sized for 7,000 keywords
- No local listings and no domain authority style metric
- Governing law depends on who is sued, which is less predictable
- Card payments go through 2Checkout (Verifone), named in the privacy policy
Standout against Moz. It prices by keywords and lets you add as many users and projects as you need.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). SEOmoz, Inc. (Moz) is incorporated in Delaware, United States, and run from Seattle, United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Moz is.
Best for: People who use Moz mainly for link metrics, outreach and backlink checks
Its sites are operated by Majestic-12 Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 05269210, with its office at iCentrum, Holt Street, Birmingham. The terms are in English and subject to the jurisdiction of England and Wales, and there is a GDPR page on the site.
The product is a backlink index built around Trust Flow and Citation Flow, with free tools such as a backlink checker and the Majestic Million list, and a free sign-up. Lite is €46.99 a month excluding VAT on the page when euros are selected, with a 7-day money-back guarantee for new customers on Lite and Pro.
It does not track rankings or audit a site, and its metrics are a different scale from Domain Authority, so any number you quote to a client changes.
What Majestic does better than Moz
- Focused link data from its own index
- Free sign-up and free tools
- Published English company number and English-law terms
- Lite at €46.99 is below Moz Standard at $99
Where Majestic is a step down from Moz
- No rank tracking, keyword research or site audit
- Trust Flow is not Domain Authority, and other tools will not accept it as a substitute
- Outside the EU and the EEA, though covered by the UK adequacy decision
- Only a 7-day refund window
Standout against Moz. It does one job, backlink data with its own trust metrics, and nothing else.
- Where the data sits. Your own computer.
- Source code. Closed source, as Moz is.
Best for: People who want a site audit on their own computer and can read a crawl report
Screaming Frog Ltd is at 6 Greys Road, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, company number 07277243. The SEO Spider runs on your own computer, so the crawl data is stored there and not in a vendor's cloud.
The free version crawls up to 500 URLs. A paid licence lifts that limit and adds features such as JavaScript rendering, scheduling, crawl comparison and link metrics integration. A licence lasts one year and must be renewed; the pricing page shows the amount with changing currency symbols, so no figure is quoted here.
It crawls and audits, and does nothing else: no rank tracking, no keyword research and no local features.
What Screaming Frog does better than Moz
- Free to 500 URLs, with no account
- Crawl data stays on your computer
- Far more detailed technical audit than a small-business suite
- English company with a published company number
Where Screaming Frog is a step down from Moz
- A desktop program that needs some SEO knowledge to read
- No rank tracking, keyword research or local SEO
- Outside the EU and the EEA, though covered by the UK adequacy decision
- The price could not be read as a fixed figure
Standout against Moz. It is a free, local crawler that finds what a cloud audit would, with the data staying on your machine.
Wincher
a simple rank tracker with a local view, from Stockholm
Best for: Small teams who want rank tracking with a Maps view and nothing else
The terms are a contract between the user and Wincher International AB, and the site gives its address as Roslagsgatan 26 A, 113 55 Stockholm. A company registration number and the governing law of the terms could not be found, so they are not stated here.
The pricing page lists plans from 500, 1,000 and 5,000 keywords, a rank tracker, a keyword explorer and a separate local rank tracker for Google Maps, and offers a 7-day free trial of Pro. The prices themselves are not readable on the page, so no amount is given.
Treat it as a tracking tool with a small research function, not as a replacement for Moz Pro.
What Wincher does better than Moz
- Swedish contracting company named in the terms, where Moz is a Delaware company
- Local rank tracker for Google Maps
- 7-day free trial of the Pro plan
- Describes itself as easy to use, and narrower than a full suite
Where Wincher is a step down from Moz
- Company number, governing law and prices could not be verified
- Short 7-day trial
- No local listings and no site audit
- Plans start at 500 keywords, and prices are not readable on the page
Standout against Moz. It combines a plain rank tracker with a Google Maps tracker at an easy-to-learn level.
Best for: SEO teams and consultants who want a market-wide visibility view, not just their own keywords
SISTRIX GmbH is at Thomas-Mann-Strasse 37, 53111 Bonn, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht Bonn under HRB 13993, VAT ID DE239579059. The governing law of its terms could not be retrieved.
The pricing page lists Start at €119 a month for "freelancers, SEO-beginners and startups", Plus at €239 with three users, Professional at €419 and Premium at €799, all plus taxes and cancelable monthly, with a free test. The Visibility Index measures a domain's presence across many keywords, and on-page checks are included.
Its entry price is above Moz Standard, so it is better value when you need its market-wide data than when you only watch your own keywords.
What Sistrix does better than Moz
- Cancelable monthly plans, where Moz Pro renewals are not refunded
- German GmbH with commercial register number and VAT ID
- Visibility Index gives a market-wide view of a domain's search presence
- Free test of the product
Where Sistrix is a step down from Moz
- Start at €119 a month is above Moz Standard at $99
- No local listings and no review tools
- Governing law not verified
- Some features, such as full data history and telephone support, start at higher tiers
Standout against Moz. The Visibility Index shows how a whole site performs in search, not just a list of ranks.
What actually breaks when you switch
No European tool reproduces Domain Authority. If clients, link sellers or outreach lists ask for DA, you may keep a free Moz account for that one number, and use Majestic's Trust Flow or your own metrics for your own decisions.
Moz Pro and Moz Local do two different jobs, and most of these tools do one of them. Expect to run one tool for keywords and tracking and a second for local listings and reviews, and add up both prices before comparing with Moz.
Several prices are in US dollars (Morningscore, BrightLocal, Localo, AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking) or are shown with a currency selector (Majestic, Seobility), and plans can change. Check the price at checkout, and check whether VAT is added.
Which of these replaces Moz Pro for a small business?
Morningscore is built for it: it lists a Lite plan at $69 a month with 2 users, 3 websites, 100 daily tracked keywords and 10 active task "missions", and a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Mangools is the other natural pick, with KWFinder for keywords, SERPWatcher for tracking and a free account to try it.
If you want a free start, Seobility's Basic plan covers one project, 10 tracked keywords and a limited audit of 100 pages per crawl. Moz Standard allows 300 keywords and 400K crawled pages, so a growing site will outgrow the free plan quickly.
What replaces Moz Local?
BrightLocal is the closest in purpose. It combines a local search grid, local rank tracking, a citation builder from $2 per citation, a citation tracker and reputation tools, and it lists the entry plan at $41 a month for one location. Localo focuses on Google Business Profile: rank tracking of your profile, audits, a review manager and AI content for posts, from $49 a month for one business.
Neither states that it publishes to as many directories as Moz Local's own claim of 90+. Check which directories matter in your country before you choose, and check whether citation building is in the plan or billed per citation.
Is there a European Domain Authority?
No tool here produces Moz's Domain Authority, which is a Moz metric. Majestic publishes Trust Flow and Citation Flow from its own link index, Mangools shows its own metrics for a domain in SiteProfiler and LinkMiner, and Sistrix uses its Visibility Index, which is based on rankings and not on links.
Scores from different tools are not comparable. If a client or an outreach list asks for DA, you may need to keep a Moz free account or the MozBar for that single number.
Which of these are the cheapest to run?
Seobility is free forever on its Basic plan, Screaming Frog is free up to 500 URLs, and Mangools and Majestic offer free accounts with limits that are not stated in plain text on their pages. Among paid plans with published prices, Localo's $49 a month for one business and Morningscore's $69 are the lowest to start, and BrightLocal's Track plan is $41 for one location on monthly billing.
AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking and Sistrix start higher, at $224, $139 and €119 a month, because they are built for consultants and agencies with many keywords.
Which one to pick
If you use Moz Pro for keywords, tracking and a health score on a small site, try Morningscore first, Mangools second, and Seobility if you want it free. If you use Moz Local, try BrightLocal if you manage several locations or want citations, and Localo if one Google Business Profile is the whole business.
AccuRanker, Advanced Web Ranking and Wincher are for rank tracking at volume, and they only pay off when tracking is the main job. Majestic is for link metrics, Screaming Frog is for crawling a site, and Sistrix is for market-wide visibility, each at the price of doing only that.
Be realistic about the gap. Moz has a Domain Authority that everyone recognizes, 20 years of data, and a listings network that none of these matches in one product. Switch if you want a European or British contracting party, no US arbitration clause and no data sharing with a US media group, and keep Moz if DA or one all-in-one subscription is what you need.

None of the pages we read says it imports Moz exports. Export your keywords and ranking history from Moz as files, then add keywords by CSV or by hand in the new tool. History does not carry over, so keep your Moz exports for comparison.
