European Local Listings and Local SEO Software

Local listings and local SEO software keeps a business's name, address, hours and reviews consistent across Google, Apple Maps, Bing and directories, and increasingly tracks how locations appear in AI answers. Because the platform stores location data, customer reviews and staff accounts, the vendor's jurisdiction and hosting region matter for GDPR. This page lists eleven European suppliers, from enterprise platforms for chains to inexpensive Google Business Profile managers for single shops.

How we rank these tools — 4-step process
  1. 1
    European ownership, verified

The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Israel, and processes customer data in Europe or Israel. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.

  2. 2
    Category fit and hands-on review

What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.

  3. 3
    Compliance and pricing check

GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.

  4. 4
    Position on this page

Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect the order tools appear in. It never buys a listing: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.

Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Vendors can pay for more visibility, higher up on the review pages; it never affects whether a tool is listed. Editorial policy

How do I choose between an enterprise listings platform and a cheap Google profile manager?

Start from the number of outlets and the number of channels. Uberall, PinMeTo and Partoo are built for brands with dozens to thousands of outlets that need data pushed to many directories, and all three sell by quote. Reeach, Reputacion and Localo work mainly through a Google Business Profile connection and are priced for one shop up to a small group.

A useful test is the change rate. If hours, phone numbers or photos change weekly across many sites, a feed with approval flows saves work. If three shops change hours twice a year, a guided tool such as Localo or a €3.99 manager such as Reeach costs less than the hour a month it saves elsewhere.

Which European vendors publish their prices?

Localistico lists Starter from €1000 per month for under 200 locations, Growth from €2500 for 200 to 500, and Enterprise from €4000 above that, with add-ons from €250. BrightLocal shows $41, $54 and $65 per month for one location on monthly billing. Localo shows $49 and $169, Reputacion €19 and €49, and Reeach €3.99 and €5.99.

Uberall, PinMeTo, Partoo and LocalZen do not publish figures, and GMB Club starts at €59 per outlet. Several prices are in dollars or pounds, so convert before you compare, and check whether VAT is excluded.

Where is my location and review data hosted?

Few vendors answer this in writing. PinMeTo names AWS Ireland as primary and Partoo says AWS servers within the European Union. Reputacion names OVH hosting in France in its legal notice. Uberall says AWS without a region, and Localistico, BrightLocal, Localo, LocalZen, rankingCoach and Reeach state none on the pages we checked.

Treat a missing region as a question for the order form, not as a problem by itself. Ask for the region, the list of sub-processors and the transfer mechanism, because Partoo and Localistico both warn in their privacy texts that some processing may happen outside the EU or EEA.

Does a UK vendor count as European for GDPR?

Localistico and BrightLocal are British companies. The UK is outside the EEA but covered by an EU adequacy decision, so personal data can move to them without extra safeguards while that decision stands. Both are listed here because the contracting entity sits in a country with equivalent protection, not because it is an EU member.

If your policy requires an EU or EEA entity, choose among Uberall, PinMeTo, Partoo, Localo, LocalZen, Reputacion, rankingCoach, Reeach or GMB Club.

How do I move from Yext, Birdeye or SOCi to a European tool?

Export the location master data first and test an import of ten locations at the new vendor. Yext, Birdeye and SOCi are the US platforms these tools are measured against; Uberall, PinMeTo, Partoo and LocalZen are the nearest in scope, and Localistico and Reputacion cover parts of Birdeye and SOCi.

Run the old and new tool side by side for as short a time as possible, because two systems pushing different values to the same profile creates duplicates. Check the notice period of the existing contract before you sign.

When should I not switch?

Stay with your current platform if you depend on a publisher in a market where no European tool lists coverage, or if the renewal date is months away and no data-protection finding forces the move. Localo, rankingCoach and Reeach also do not replace a wide directory feed, so a chain that relies on one should not downgrade to them.

A switch for price alone rarely pays at chain scale, since the quote-based vendors negotiate. It pays more clearly for single shops that are paying for features they never open.

How we selected and ranked these 11 tools

Every tool on this page is in the European Purpose directory, which means the operating company is established in Europe and we have verified that from the company register or the vendor's own legal notice rather than from a marketing page. Tools headquartered outside Europe are not eligible, however good they are.

  1. Feature verification (weight: 40%). We check each capability against the vendor's own documentation and product pages, and record what the tool does rather than what the category is assumed to include.
  2. Ease of adoption (weight: 30%). Integrations, published API access, trial availability and how much configuration stands between signing and a usable result.
  3. Value and transparency (weight: 30%). Published pricing counts in a vendor's favour; quote-only pricing is recorded as quote-only rather than estimated. We weigh what a buyer gets for the entry price, not the headline feature count.
  4. Editorial review. Every page is researched and drafted with AI assistance, and the compliance and pricing claims are checked against the vendor's documentation before it is published under the founder's editorial responsibility. The three weights above decide the order; a position is a ranking against the other European tools in this category, not an absolute score.

Vendor-reported outcomes — ROI figures, margin uplift, time saved — are labelled as vendor claims wherever they appear on this page. We have not audited them, and neither has anyone else who quotes them. Read our full editorial process for how pages are re-verified.

Frequently asked questions

For large networks, Uberall (Berlin), PinMeTo (Malmö) and Partoo (Paris) cover listings, reviews and store pages. For published mid-market prices, Localistico (London). For rank tracking and citations, BrightLocal (Brighton). For one shop or a small group, Reputacion, Localo, Reeach, rankingCoach and GMB Club.

Reeach Listing Manager at €3.99 per month for one Google profile, then Reputacion from €19 per month. Both rely on a Google Business Profile connection rather than a directory feed.

PinMeTo lists ISO 27001:2022 certificate C849231, valid until 16 October 2029, on its own pages. Uberall says its AWS infrastructure is certified for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, which describes the cloud provider rather than the company.

According to the vendors, Uberall has GEO Studio, Localistico an AI Visibility Index and MCP connection, BrightLocal a Local AI Visibility Tracker and GMB Club an SEO and GEO agent. We have not tested their output.

rankingCoach has a free edition at £0, and BrightLocal, Localo and LocalZen offer 14-day trials, Reputacion a 30-day trial. The others are paid or sold through a demo.
