European Alternatives to Looker Studio
Looking for a European alternative to Looker Studio? Google's current terms call it Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio). For customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa the contracting company is Google Ireland Limited under English law, but each party's liability is capped at $1,000, the service is provided "as is", and the terms let Google process customer data in the United States or any other country.
Eleven European tools cover the reporting and dashboard job, from marketing report builders and KPI screens to SQL dashboards, an open-source BI tool and embedded analytics platforms, from companies in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France and Switzerland.
How we rank these tools — 4-step process
-
1
European ownership, verified
The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA or Switzerland, and processes customer data in Europe. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.
-
2
Category fit and hands-on review
What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.
-
3
Compliance and pricing check
GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.
-
4
Position on this page
Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Paid placement can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. Editorial policy

Key takeaways
- Looker Studio, called Data Studio in Google's current terms, is a Google service whose EMEA customers contract with Google Ireland Limited under English law, with each party's liability capped at $1,000.
- Cluvio (Germany) has a free single-user plan and published euro prices; Datylon (Belgium) has a free online chart and report plan.
- Swydo (Netherlands) and Whatagraph (Netherlands) are the closest to Looker Studio for marketing reports, but they cost money: Swydo lists €69 a month for the first ten data sources and Whatagraph lists plans from €999 a month.
- Chartbrew and Geckoboard publish entry prices of $24 and €75 a month, both with a free trial.
- Luzmo, Toucan Toco, Veezoo and Panintelligence are built for embedded or governed analytics and are a heavier choice than most Looker Studio users need.
Why people leave Looker Studio
Looker Studio is Google's free tool for turning data into reports and dashboards. You connect a data source, drag charts onto a page, and share a live link. Google's current terms call the product Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio), and its product page lists more than 1,400 data sources, including Google Sheets, Google Ads, BigQuery and Google Analytics. A paid Pro version is listed at $9 per user per project per month.
The contract is less American than it sounds. For customers whose main place of business is in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, "Google" means Google Ireland Limited in Dublin, and the terms are governed by English law with the English courts.
What stays in the terms is a set of limits that matter more when reports are part of your business: each party's liability is capped at $1,000, the service is provided "as is", and Google may process customer data in the United States or any other country, to which you consent.
This page is for people who use it to report on marketing, sales or operations, from a solo consultant to an agency. It lists eleven European tools. Six are real report and dashboard builders (Cluvio, Swydo, Chartbrew, Geckoboard, Datylon, Whatagraph), one is open-source BI, and four are heavier platforms for governed or embedded analytics. None of them has Google's free price or its pool of connectors.
- A $1,000 liability cap on the reports you resell Under the English-law version of the terms, each party's total liability is capped at $1,000, and the service is provided "as is". That is a reasonable deal for a free tool. It is thin if you send clients dashboards on which they make spending decisions, or if a broken connector costs you a contract. Paid European tools here also limit liability, as most SaaS does, so read each one, but they are priced products with a named supplier and a support line.
- You indemnify Google for your data Section 10 says you will indemnify Google against third-party legal proceedings about customer data or your unlawful use of the service. The terms also put on you the duty to hold every consent needed to upload personal data. For an agency that connects client accounts, that is a legal duty on top of the agency's own contract with the client. A supplier that also acts as your processor, with a plain data processing agreement, makes that chain easier to explain.
- Your data can be processed in any country Google uses The terms say Google may transfer, store and process customer data in the United States or any other country where it or its agents have facilities, and that you consent by using the service. The Data Processing Agreement governs it. The page does not claim this is unlawful, and the agreement was not read for this page. If your clients ask where their reporting data sits, several tools here say so plainly: Chartbrew states that all its data infrastructure is in the UK, and Cluvio, Swydo and Whatagraph contract with a company in Germany or the Netherlands.
- The product keeps changing name and tier In the terms read for this page the product is called Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio), so it has carried more than one name. Looker Studio Pro is outside those terms and sits under the Google Cloud Platform Agreement. That is not harmful in itself, but a report you share with clients depends on a product whose name and paid tier have moved before. A smaller supplier whose only product is the dashboard tool has less room to drift.
What you have to replace, not just match
List your reports before you pick a tool. For each one, write down the data source, the audience and whether it needs to be live. A marketing agency with 30 client reports on ads and analytics needs a connector-heavy report builder such as Swydo or Whatagraph. A product team with a database needs SQL dashboards, which means Cluvio, Chartbrew or Lightdash. A leadership slide deck with polished charts is a Datylon job.
Rebuild one report end to end first. Looker Studio reports cannot be exported into another tool, so each one is recreated by hand. Pick the five most-viewed ones, rebuild them in the new tool, and run both for a month so you can compare numbers before you switch the client links.
The alternatives compared
| Position | Tool | Headquarters | Pricing | Jurisdiction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | Cluvio | Berlin, Germany | From about €99/month | EU (Germany) |
| #5 | Datylon | Antwerp, Belgium | Report Studio (online chart editor): free; Datylon for Illustrator Professional about €27/month or about €21/month billed annually; Premium about €35/month, billed annually only; Enterprise custom | EU (Belgium) |
| #6 | Lightdash | London, United Kingdom | Free self-hosted / Cloud from about $400/month | United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA) |
| #8 | Luzmo | Leuven, Belgium | From about €900/month; usage-based enterprise pricing | EU (Belgium) |
| #9 | Toucan Toco | Paris, France | Custom pricing by users and deployment | EU (France) |
| #11 | Panintelligence | Leeds, United Kingdom | Custom pricing per registered user, banded by deployment (internal or embedded); no per-query or data-volume charges; amounts not published | United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA) |
How each alternative compares to Looker Studio
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. EU (Germany).
- Source code. Closed source, as Looker Studio is.
Best for: Teams with a database who can write SQL and want shareable dashboards and alerts
Cluvio is provided by Cluvio GmbH at Friedrichstr. 79 in Berlin. Its terms (version of 18 June 2025) state that the contract is governed by the laws of Germany with German courts. Section 13.3 lists exceptions, for example for customers whose habitual residence is outside Germany, and the effect of those was not checked.
The free plan is for a single user with 3 dashboards and 1,000 query executions a month, and every analytical feature included. Pro Team is €249 a month with 50 dashboards, unlimited query executions, SSO, 20 SQL alerts and 20 scheduled dashboards. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial of the Business plan, without a credit card.
It is built around queries on your own database rather than ready connectors to ad platforms, so it suits product and operations reports more than marketing ones.
What Cluvio does better than Looker Studio
- A free plan and published euro prices
- German law and a Berlin supplier
- 14-day trial of the Business plan without a credit card
- SQL alerts and scheduled dashboards on Pro
Where Cluvio is a step down from Looker Studio
- Free plan is limited to one user and 3 dashboards
- No drag-and-drop marketing connectors like Looker Studio's
- Requires SQL skills
- Exceptions in section 13.3 of the terms for non-German customers were not checked
Standout against Looker Studio. It gives a single user a free plan with every analytical feature included.
Swydo
marketing reports and dashboards with one plan, from the Netherlands
Best for: Agencies and marketers who report on ads, SEO and social accounts for several clients
The privacy policy names Swydo B.V., and the terms of use are governed exclusively by Dutch law (section 13.1). The registered address and company number were not on any page read. The terms state fees in US dollars, while the pricing page shows euros, so check the invoice currency when you sign up.
Swydo has one plan with all features, including unlimited clients, users, dashboards and reports. The pricing page lists €69 a month, or €62 on annual billing, for the first ten data sources, then €4.50 per extra source up to 100, €3.00 up to 500 and €2.00 above that. It lists more than 38 integrations and offers a 14-day free trial without a credit card.
It charges by data source, not by client, which matches how agencies grow.
What Swydo does better than Looker Studio
- One plan with all features and unlimited users, clients and reports
- Published price and a 14-day free trial without a card
- Dutch law, where Looker Studio's liability cap is $1,000
- White-label and report templates for client work
Where Swydo is a step down from Looker Studio
- Around 38 integrations against Looker Studio's 1,400+ sources
- Costs money from the first data source
- Entity address and company number not found on the pages read
- Terms state fees in USD while the pricing page shows euros
Standout against Looker Studio. Pricing follows the number of connected accounts, not the number of clients or users.
Chartbrew
dashboards and client reports on databases and APIs, with UK-hosted data
Best for: Small teams and agencies that report on a database or an API and want a low entry price
Chartbrew is run by Depomo Ltd. Its terms (last updated 16 November 2022) say it is a UK company with all data infrastructure located in the UK, and that it shares customer data only if compelled by a UK authority with a legally binding order.
The pricing page lists Starter at $24 a month ($290 billed yearly), Growth at $83 ($990) and Professional at $249 ($2,990), all with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Starter is described as for small teams tracking KPIs with internal or embedded dashboards, and the higher plans add faster refresh, more AI and more room for agencies.
Prices are in US dollars. The terms read are almost four years old.
What Chartbrew does better than Looker Studio
- Low published entry price and a 14-day free trial
- Data infrastructure in the UK, as its terms state
- Internal and embedded dashboards and client reporting
- Customer data is shared only under a UK legal order, according to its terms
Where Chartbrew is a step down from Looker Studio
- Fewer ready connectors than Looker Studio
- Priced in US dollars
- The terms text dates from November 2022
- The UK is outside the EU
Standout against Looker Studio. It states in its own terms that all data infrastructure is located in the UK.
Geckoboard
live KPI dashboards for teams and TV screens, from London
Best for: Teams that want a few clear numbers on a shared screen rather than long reports
Geckoboard's terms identify Datachoice Solutions Limited trading as Geckoboard, a company incorporated in England and Wales (number 05958505) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London. Its legal pages list a DPA, an EU Data Act Addendum and sub-processors.
The pricing page lists Essentials from €75 a month on annual billing, with 2 dashboards, 1 editor and 1 screen, and a free trial. Data refreshes automatically, you can connect as many data sources as you like, and data limits apply to the Aircall, Shopify and Zendesk Support integrations.
It is about glanceable KPIs. It is not a report builder for long, multi-page client documents.
What Geckoboard does better than Looker Studio
- Published price and a free trial
- TV dashboards and screens as a core feature
- Legal pages with a DPA, EU Data Act Addendum and sub-processor list
- Alerts and shared screens suit a team that watches a few numbers
Where Geckoboard is a step down from Looker Studio
- Starts at €75 a month for 2 dashboards and one editor
- Not suited to long, designed reports
- UK company, outside the EU
- Fewer data sources than Looker Studio
Standout against Looker Studio. It is built around dashboards shown on office screens.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Belgium). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Looker Studio is.
Best for: Report designers and analysts who care about polished charts and exportable reports more than live connectors
Datylon BV is at Lange Gasthuisstraat 29-31 in Antwerp (business number 0521.941.360). Its customer agreement (revised 28 November 2025) is governed by Belgian law, with the courts of Antwerp, division Antwerp. Its website privacy statement says the website is hosted by Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Datylon Report Studio is free, without a credit card, with an online chart editor, custom templates, downloads as PDF, PNG or SVG, and embed or export. Datylon for Illustrator, a plug-in for designers, is €27 per user a month, or €21 on annual billing. There is also a premium plan and an enterprise plan on request.
It is a design tool for reports, not a live dashboard tool that refreshes from ad platforms.
What Datylon does better than Looker Studio
- Free plan with no credit card
- Finely styled, on-brand charts and PDF or SVG export
- Belgian company under Belgian law
- Illustrator plug-in for designers
Where Datylon is a step down from Looker Studio
- Not a live dashboard or connector tool
- Website hosted by Amazon Web Services, Inc.
- Fewer data sources than Looker Studio
- Paid plans target designers, not report automation
Standout against Looker Studio. It is the one tool here made for designed, print-quality charts.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. Your own infrastructure, or EU cloud.
- Source code. Open source, where Looker Studio is not: you can read what it does rather than take the description on trust.
Best for: Data teams that already use dbt and want governed dashboards they can self-host
Lightdash is provided by Telescope Technology Limited, trading as Lightdash (company number 12774445), 7 Bell Yard, London. Its terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales with the courts of England and Wales (sections 12.9 and 12.10).
The pricing page lists an Open Source edition, self-hosted by you with community support, and Cloud Pro at $3,000 a month with no per-seat price and unlimited users and visualizations. A free trial is offered, and the product is built on a native dbt integration and an open semantic layer.
It needs a dbt project. It is a data team's tool, not a quick way to chart an ad account.
What Lightdash does better than Looker Studio
- Open source and free to self-host
- Unlimited users on Cloud, with no per-seat price
- Semantic layer for consistent metrics
- English law and a company at a named address
Where Lightdash is a step down from Looker Studio
- Cloud starts at $3,000 a month
- Needs dbt and a data team
- Community support only on the open-source edition
- Not aimed at marketing connectors
Standout against Looker Studio. The whole product is built on a dbt semantic layer, with a free self-hosted edition.
Whatagraph
a marketing data platform for agencies and brands, from Amsterdam
Best for: Agencies and in-house marketing teams that need white-label reports across many channels and have a budget for it
Whatagraph B.V. is registered at Herengracht 420, 1017 BZ Amsterdam. Its terms and conditions (effective 8 September 2025) are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Its pricing page says it is trusted by more than 1,000 marketing agencies and brands.
Two plans are listed: Max from €999 a month billed annually, with IQ Agents, advanced integrations, data groups and blends, white-label reports, KPI overviews with alerts and a dedicated success manager, and Prime on request with premium integrations, a custom report domain, public API access and transfer to BigQuery and Looker. Access is through a demo.
The product menu also lists a way to visualise data in Looker Studio, so it can sit next to it instead of replacing it.
What Whatagraph does better than Looker Studio
- White-label reports and a dedicated success manager
- Dutch company under Dutch law
- Data groups and blends across channels
- Alerts on KPIs
Where Whatagraph is a step down from Looker Studio
- From €999 a month, a high entry price for a small team
- Demo-led, no free plan or trial on the pricing page
- Not designed for SQL or database dashboards
- The listed price is for annual billing
Standout against Looker Studio. It positions itself as the layer that feeds both its own reports and Looker Studio.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Belgium). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. EU hosting.
- Source code. Closed source, as Looker Studio is.
Best for: Software companies that want to show customers dashboards inside their own product
Luzmo NV is a public limited company with its registered office at Tiensevest 102 bus 201 in Leuven, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under 0640.944.227.
Its pricing page lists a single plan starting from €1,995 a month on annual billing, with white-label, self-service for end users, AI and APIs included, and a free trial with the full product. What varies is the usage part, which follows how many of your customers use analytics.
It is built for customer-facing dashboards. For internal marketing reports it is more than you need and costs more.
What Luzmo does better than Looker Studio
- White-label and self-service for end users included
- One plan, no feature tiers to negotiate
- Free trial of the full product
- Belgian company with a register number
Where Luzmo is a step down from Looker Studio
- From €1,995 a month, far above Looker Studio's free price
- Aimed at embedding, not internal reporting
- Usage-based part of the price is not published
- Built to embed in your own product, which is more than a reporting team needs
Standout against Looker Studio. The full product, including white-label, is in one plan.
- Which law reaches it. EU (France). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. EU hosting.
- Source code. Closed source, as Looker Studio is.
Best for: Companies that want a managed or self-service analytics app for many viewers
Its legal information page names Toucan Toco SAS, 59 rue de Ponthieu in Paris, as the owner, together with Toucantoco Inc. at 75 State Street in Boston. Which entity signs a given customer contract was not checked.
The pricing page offers a managed service on quote with a trial month, and self-service plans with unlimited users in all plans, starting with Start at €445 a month (15% off on yearly billing), with a euro or dollar choice. The product includes a semantic layer, row-level security and AI dashboard building.
It is a platform for apps and embedded analytics, not a quick tool for charting an ad account.
What Toucan Toco does better than Looker Studio
- Unlimited users in all self-service plans
- Published entry price in euros
- Semantic layer and row-level security
- French company
Where Toucan Toco is a step down from Looker Studio
- Starts at €445 a month

Its pricing page lists a Pro plan for teams and pilots with unlimited dashboard views and more than 30 built-in visualizations, and an Enterprise plan with SSO and advanced security. It offers a free trial and a call, and shows no amounts.
Switzerland is outside the EU and the EEA.
What Veezoo does better than Looker Studio
- Ask questions in plain language and get charts
- Free trial and unlimited dashboard views on Pro
- Swiss law and a named company address
- Custom visualizations and AI modification
Where Veezoo is a step down from Looker Studio
- No published prices
- Plan details beyond Pro and Enterprise are by conversation
- Switzerland is outside the EU and the EEA
- Not aimed at marketing connectors
Standout against Looker Studio. You type a business question and it returns a chart.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Looker Studio is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Where the data sits. UK or EEA where applicable; the platform reads source data in place rather than copying it.
- Source code. Closed source, as Looker Studio is.
Best for: Software vendors and mid-sized companies that want white-label analytics on their own infrastructure
Panintelligence Limited is registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Concordia Works, 30 Sovereign Street, Leeds. Its privacy policy says it believes in keeping data in place and under the customer's control. The company number printed there was not used, because it matched another company in an earlier check.
Its pricing page says pricing is per registered user, in bands, with the per-user cost falling as users grow, and that white-labelling is included in every plan and there are no per-query or data-volume charges. It describes a self-hosted option at the same base price and says an entry band is published, but no amount appeared in the text read.
It is a platform for embedded and internal BI. It is not a free report tool.
What Panintelligence does better than Looker Studio
- White-labelling included in every plan
- No per-query or data volume charges
- Self-hosted option with the data staying in place
- UK-based customer success
Where Panintelligence is a step down from Looker Studio
- No price amount on the pages read
- Aimed at software vendors, not small marketing teams
- UK company, outside the EU
- Registered company number not confirmed here
Standout against Looker Studio. Price is per registered user in bands, with no data-volume charges.
What actually breaks when you switch
Connectors are the real cost of leaving. Looker Studio lists more than 1,400 data sources, and no tool here matches that. Swydo lists 38+ integrations. Check each data source you use today against the list of the tool you pick, including Google Analytics 4, Search Console and your ad accounts.
Rebuilding takes time. Reports and calculated fields are not exported to another tool, so each one is recreated. Start with your most-viewed dashboards, change the client links last, and keep the old reports live until the numbers have matched for a full month.
Prices start higher than free. Even the cheapest paid options are $24 to €75 a month, and agency tools such as Whatagraph begin at €999. Add up the number of data sources or dashboards you need before you compare.
Which of these is closest to Looker Studio?
For marketing reports, Swydo and Whatagraph are the closest: connectors to ad and analytics accounts, report templates and shareable dashboards. Swydo has one plan with unlimited clients and users and a 14-day free trial. Whatagraph is aimed at agencies and brands and starts at €999 a month.
For dashboards on a database, Cluvio, Chartbrew and Lightdash are closer. None of them matches Looker Studio's 1,400 connectors, so check that your own data sources are covered before you commit.
Is there a free option?
Cluvio has a free plan for a single user with 3 dashboards and 1,000 query executions a month. Datylon Report Studio is free for building and exporting charts and reports. Lightdash is open source and free to self-host if you can run it yourself.
Swydo, Chartbrew and Geckoboard offer free trials instead of permanent free plans. Whatagraph, Luzmo and Veezoo work through a demo or a free trial.
Which tools publish prices I can check?
Cluvio shows Pro Team at €249 a month. Swydo shows €69 a month for ten data sources. Chartbrew shows $24, $83 and $249 a month on yearly billing. Geckoboard shows Essentials from €75 a month. Whatagraph shows Max from €999 a month. Luzmo shows a single plan from €1,995 a month, and Toucan Toco shows a Start plan at €445 a month. Lightdash Cloud is $3,000 a month.
Veezoo and Panintelligence do not show an amount on the pages read. Always check the price for your currency and billing period.
Does a European supplier matter for reporting?
It matters for who holds your data and who you can hold to account. A European or UK supplier with a plain data processing agreement and a known processor chain is easier to put in a client contract than a free tool whose terms cap liability at $1,000.
It matters less for a personal dashboard on public data. Google's EMEA contract is already with an Irish company under English law, so the case for switching rests on liability, data location and price structure, not on the nationality of the supplier alone.
Which one to pick
If you build marketing reports for clients, try Swydo first, then Whatagraph if you need white-label reports across many channels and have the budget. If you have a database and write SQL, Cluvio has a free plan to start with and Chartbrew starts at $24 a month. For live numbers on a screen, Geckoboard, and for designed charts, Datylon.
Lightdash is the choice only if your team already uses dbt. Luzmo, Toucan Toco, Veezoo and Panintelligence are platforms for embedded or governed analytics, so pick them for a product or a company-wide rollout, not to replace a few free dashboards.
Be realistic about the gap. Looker Studio is free and connects to more than 1,400 sources, and none of these eleven matches both. Its EMEA terms are already with an Irish company under English law, so the reason to switch is a liability cap of $1,000, the processing-anywhere clause and the need for a supplier you can negotiate with. If none of that applies to you, staying with Looker Studio is reasonable.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the job. Swydo is the nearest for marketing reports and has a published price and free trial. Cluvio is the best fit for SQL dashboards and has a free plan. Geckoboard suits live KPI screens, Chartbrew suits client reports on databases and APIs, and Datylon suits designed charts for reports and slides.
No, it is a Google product. For customers whose main place of business is in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, the contracting company in the terms is Google Ireland Limited in Dublin, the governing law is English law, and the courts are the English courts. Google LLC in Mountain View, California is the contracting company for customers elsewhere outside Asia Pacific.
The standard service is free; Google's older overview page describes it as easy and free. A Pro version is listed at $9 per user per project per month and runs under the Google Cloud Platform Agreement rather than the standard terms.
Yes, in Google's current terms. They are titled Data Studio Terms of Service, say "Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio)", and show a last-modified date of 22 April 2026. This page keeps the name Looker Studio because that is how most people still search for it.
Each party's aggregate liability to the other is capped at $1,000 under the English-law version, and the service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent the law allows. It does not exclude liability for fraud or for the indemnities in the agreement. For a free tool that is common. It is worth knowing if clients rely on your dashboards.
The terms say Google may transfer, store and process customer data in the United States or any other country where it or its agents have facilities, and that using the service is consent to this, subject to the Data Processing Agreement. The agreement and the sub-processor list were not read for this page, so check them before you rely on a specific location.
Cluvio is Cluvio GmbH in Berlin, with German law and German courts in its terms. Swydo's privacy policy names Swydo B.V., and its terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Whatagraph is Whatagraph B.V., registered at Herengracht 420 in Amsterdam, and its terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
Whatagraph targets exactly that use, with white-label reports and a platform fee from €999 a month, and its own menu lists a connector that sends data into Looker Studio and BigQuery. Geckoboard is better for live KPI screens than for long client reports. Swydo sits in between and charges by data source rather than by client.
Only for teams with a dbt-based data stack. Lightdash is an open-source BI tool that builds on a dbt semantic layer, is free to self-host, and has a cloud edition at $3,000 a month with unlimited users. For a marketing report built from ad accounts it is the wrong tool.
Not as a working report. Recreate each report in the new tool, connect the same data sources and compare numbers. Charts that are static, such as for slides, can be rebuilt in Datylon, which exports PDF, PNG and SVG.
