Detailed Review
Seeberg Solutions GmbH, registered at Amtsgericht Augsburg under HRB 26600, runs inBehandlung from Friedberg. The About page presents the veterinarian Ralph Schickel, the IT specialist Jonas Sextl and Melanie Schickel as the team behind it, and says the software was created in 2012 for small and mid-sized practices where a few people carry every task.
Customer data is held on servers in Germany at Hetzner Online GmbH, which the vendor describes on its compliance page, with a separate shielded database for each customer. The FAQ adds that backups are taken several times a day.
Packages and what changes between them
SOLO gives a single-seat licence and 1 GB of storage, TEAM five user licences and 5 GB, BUSINESS fifteen licences and 15 GB. All three include online appointment booking, digital new-client registration, daily backups, 90 minutes of onboarding and video consultation billed by time.
Training time grows with the tier: 60 minutes a year on TEAM and 180 on BUSINESS. The BUSINESS package adds local lab device integration for IDEXX and Zoetis, an interface to Lexware Office and a chat and to-do function. Extra modules such as HI-Tier and a Swiss second TSE can be booked on top.
German billing and compliance features
The core package covers GOT-based service entry, cash book keeping that follows GoBD rules, collective invoices and an export for tax advisers in Excel and DATEV format. Pharmacy features track batch numbers, purchase history and consumption for inspections.
Lab orders can go from the treatment screen to Laboklin, Antech and IDEXX, and results return to the patient file. A news item on the homepage says visits recorded at level 2 can be sent straight to HI-Tier.
Extras beyond core management
Manta, an AI telephone assistant, is offered as a separate product for taking calls and logging the reason for contact. A separate package exists for animal naturopaths. Practices can request a free test account that runs for two weeks and ends on its own.
Limitations to Consider
This review is based on inBehandlung's own pages, not on a hands-on trial. The interface and documents are in German, and the feature set follows German rules (GOT, TAP, HI-Tier), so a practice outside Germany, Austria or Switzerland gets less from it. Prices are net, storage is capped per package, and local lab devices need the top package.
Who Should Use inBehandlung
Suitable for German-speaking small and mid-sized practices that want a fixed subscription and German hosting. Large multi-site groups may prefer Provet Cloud, and cheaper entry plans exist at debevet.
