Detailed Review
ACMP is built as four cumulative editions: Starter (inventory, Microsoft and Windows update management, driver catalogs), Advanced (adds packaging, distribution and automation), Professional (adds third-party patch management) and Expert (adds automated bare-metal OS rollout).
Asset Management, Security Management, License Management, Ticket Management and Intune Management are separate add-ons. The vendor notes that Asset Management is licensed only for managed endpoints.
Editions Build on Each Other
Starter already includes inventory, so even the smallest edition produces a hardware and software list. The step to Advanced adds the software packaging and automation platform, and Professional adds the third-party patch coverage. Expert is the OS provisioning edition.
Because pricing is individual, the practical way to compare editions is the feature list on the vendor page.
Asset and License as Add-ons
Asset Management and License Management are optional modules, and the vendor page describes them only briefly. A buyer should ask for a demonstration of license reconciliation against purchased entitlements before treating it as a Flexera replacement.
German Positioning
Aagon holds the BITMi 'Software Made in Germany' seal for ACMP and markets digital sovereignty. The imprint names Aagon GmbH, Lange Wende 33, 59494 Soest, register court Arnsberg, HRB 15997.
Limitations to Consider
No prices are published, and the hosting model (on-premises or cloud) and supported operating systems are not stated on the pages checked. Asset Management covers managed endpoints only, so network devices without an agent are a question for the vendor. For deeper license position work see USU or Xensam.
Who Should Use Aagon ACMP
IT teams in Germany, particularly in public administration, healthcare and education, that want inventory and an asset list inside their client management tool and can buy by quote.
