European Alternatives to Yext
Looking for a European alternative to Yext? Yext, Inc. is a US company listed on the NYSE (ticker YEXT) with offices in New York, London and Paris, according to its locations page and its February 2026 press release. Its Listings product describes direct connections to 200+ publishers and a request-a-demo route, with no price list on the product page.
The European tools below range from enterprise platforms such as Uberall, PinMeTo and Partoo to lower-cost profile managers such as Reputacion, Localo and Reeach, all with a contracting entity in the EU or the UK.
How we rank these tools — 4-step process
-
1
European ownership, verified
The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Israel, and processes customer data in Europe or Israel. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.
-
2
Category fit and hands-on review
What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.
-
3
Compliance and pricing check
GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.
-
4
Position on this page
Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Vendors can pay for more visibility, higher up on the review pages; it never affects which tools are listed. Editorial policy

- Reeach (€3.99 and €5.99 a month), Reputacion (from €19) and Localo ($49) serve single shops and small groups and work mainly through Google Business Profile.
- PinMeTo states ISO 27001:2022 and primary processing on AWS Ireland, while several other European tools in this list do not state a hosting region.
Why people leave Yext
Yext, Inc. is a New York company listed on the NYSE under the ticker YEXT, with offices in New York, London and Paris according to its locations page and its February 2026 press release. Its Listings product describes direct connections to 200+ publishers, among them maps, search engines, voice assistants and AI answer engines, and says there is no aggregator between the brand and the publisher. The product page shows no price list, only a route to a demo.
For a European retailer, bank branch network or restaurant group, that set-up means a contract with a US vendor for the master copy of every opening hour, phone number and photo, and for the review and staff data that sits next to it. Yext does have a London and a Paris office, but the contracting company that signs the order and receives the data is a question for the order form, not for the sales deck.
People who look past Yext mostly raise three points: they cannot budget without a sales call, a feed to 200+ publishers is more than a ten-outlet business uses, or procurement wants a European supplier and a named hosting region before a location database is handed over. Each of those points leads to a different group of the eleven tools below.
- No published price to plan against Yext's listings page ends in a demo request and shows no figures, so a first budget needs a salesperson. Among the European tools, Localistico prints its bands (from €1000 a month under 200 locations), BrightLocal prints per-location dollar prices, Reputacion starts at €19 and Reeach at €3.99. Uberall, PinMeTo and Partoo are as quote-only as Yext, so the price argument holds only for part of the field.
- A US contracting party for location and review data Yext, Inc. is based in New York and reports to the SEC, so US law and US disclosure rules shape the vendor. A German GmbH, a Swedish AB or a French SAS is a different position for a GDPR file: the controller and the processor sit inside the EU, and the supervisory authority is one you can write to in your own language. Check each vendor's hosting region too, because several European tools do not state one.
- Scale you may not use A feed to 200+ publishers pays off when hundreds of outlets change hours every holiday. A bakery with three shops mostly needs Google, Apple Maps, Bing and a handful of directories to agree with each other. For that case Reeach (Google profiles at €3.99 or €5.99), Localo or rankingCoach cover what is needed at a fraction of an enterprise contract.
- Reviews and rank tracking come from other places Teams that care most about Google Maps position often end up with a grid tracker such as BrightLocal next to the listings tool. Teams that care about replies to reviews can use Reputacion or GMB Club, which put QR collection and AI-written replies at the centre. Moving from one platform to a split set of tools is a legitimate choice, as long as someone owns the data that now lives in two places.
What you have to replace, not just match
What you replace first is the data feed. Yext holds one record per location and pushes it to publishers; whichever tool you pick must hold that master record and push it to the same maps and directories, or you must accept that some of them will be updated by hand.
Uberall (200+ directories cited), PinMeTo (100+ networks) and Partoo (Google, Apple and partner platforms) are the three that run a feed at chain scale. Reeach, Localo and Reputacion work through a Google Business Profile connection and do not distribute to a wide directory network.
The second thing is everything that sits around the feed: review inboxes and automatic replies, store pages and locators, social posts, ranking reports and an AI visibility view. Several European tools bundle these, and the bundle differs per vendor.
Uberall adds GEO Studio, PinMeTo adds local campaigns and conversations, Partoo adds feedback surveys and an AI messaging agent, and Localistico adds store pages and local ads as priced extras. Make a list of the modules your team opens every week in Yext before reading any feature table.
Third, the people and the process. Role permissions, approval flows for franchisees and the agency accounts that edit on behalf of brands all have to be recreated. Ask each vendor in writing how many publishers update by direct connection and how many through an aggregator, because Yext's own page markets the absence of an aggregator as a feature.

How each alternative compares to Yext
Best for: Brands with many outlets that want one German vendor for listings, reviews and local pages
Uberall GmbH in Berlin sells the same shape of product as Yext: validated location data pushed to a directory network its homepage puts at 200+, with review replies, social posting and store locators on top. Its pricing page stacks three plans, from listings-led to listings with reviews and social, with add-ons such as Analytics Plus sold separately.
The imprint gives a full German address and register number, which Yext's New York filing cannot. The group privacy notice also lists a US affiliate, Uberall Inc., and the AWS hosting region is not stated, so the contract should settle where data sits. GEO Studio, built with AthenaHQ according to the company, is its answer to AI visibility.
What Uberall does better than Yext
- German GmbH with imprint, HRB number and Berlin address
- Plans staged from listings upward, so reviews and social can be added later
- GEO Studio and an AI Visibility Checker as named modules
- Partner programme for agencies and resellers
Where Uberall is a step down from Yext
- Prices are by request only, the same as Yext
- AWS hosting without a stated region
- A US affiliate is part of the group
Standout against Yext. It is the one European platform here with Yext's breadth plus a German imprint to sign against.
Best for: Chains and franchises that need documented EU hosting before they sign
PinMeTo AB in Malmö covers listings, reviews, conversations, local posts and local campaigns for brands with 100 to 5,000+ locations. Its pages cite 100+ networks in 130+ countries, so the directory reach is smaller than the 200+ Yext cites, though the figures come from two different vendors with different counting methods.
What sets it apart is the paperwork: ISO 27001:2022 certificate C849231, audited by DNV and valid until 16 October 2029, and a privacy statement that names AWS Ireland as primary region. A Mumbai office handles regional sales and support, so ask which team can reach your data. Pricing is by quote.
What PinMeTo does better than Yext
- Names the ISO 27001 certificate number, auditor and expiry date
- States AWS Ireland as the primary processing region
- Offers managed services and one-on-one migration support
- Swedish AB with a published address and privacy statement
Where PinMeTo is a step down from Yext
- Fewer networks cited than Yext (100+ against 200+)
- No list price and no self-service trial
- A Mumbai office is listed for regional sales and support
Standout against Yext. It publishes a certificate number and expiry date, which most vendors in this category do not.
Best for: Store networks in France and Southern Europe that want support in the local language
Partoo SAS in Paris synchronises business data to Google, Apple and partner platforms and tracks distribution, and then adds review management, feedback surveys, a messages inbox and a store locator. Its sector pages for automotive, banking, food and health show who it targets: multi-outlet networks, not single shops.
The legal notice gives share capital of €27,523.76 and an R.C.S. Paris number, and the privacy policy says data is stored on AWS within the EU. It also warns that sub-processors may move data outside the EU. Press reports name Webedia as majority owner; the vendor pages do not. Pricing is by quote, as with Yext.
What Partoo does better than Yext
- Storage on EU-based AWS servers is stated in the privacy policy
- Feedback surveys and an AI messaging agent inside the same product
- Sector pages and French-language support for local networks
- REST API for connecting store databases
Where Partoo is a step down from Yext
- No public prices
- Sub-processors may transfer data outside the EU
- Directory coverage must be checked country by country
Standout against Yext. It is the only one here that combines listings with customer feedback surveys and a messaging agent.
Best for: Mid-sized chains that want to see a monthly price before calling sales
Localistico Ltd, incorporated in London on 8 July 2014 under Companies House number 09121600, publishes three bands: Starter from €1000 a month below 200 locations, Growth from €2500 for 200 to 500, and Enterprise from €4000 above 500. Extras such as AI-ready store pages, Facebook and Instagram messages and local ads are priced separately.
Against Yext the difference is budgeting, not breadth: a finance team can plan a year from the pricing page. The company is British, so UK adequacy rather than EU membership applies to data transfers, and the privacy notice allows transfers outside the EEA without naming a hosting region. It also lists an MCP connection for AI assistants.
What Localistico does better than Yext
- Monthly price bands are published, where Yext shows none
- Companies House record with number, date and ownership band
- Store pages, ads and messages can be added as priced extras
- AI Readiness Score and a live MCP connection for assistants
Where Localistico is a step down from Yext
- UK jurisdiction, outside the EEA
- Hosting region is not stated
- The €1000 entry plan is steep for a handful of sites
Standout against Yext. It is the only enterprise-scale platform in this list with a full price table on its site.
Best for: Agencies and small chains that want to track Maps rankings more than push data to hundreds of sites
BrightLocal Ltd in Brighton, incorporated 20 September 2016, sells three tiers for one location: Track at $41, Manage at $54 and Grow at $65 a month on monthly billing, with lower yearly prices and a 14-day trial that needs no card. The Local Search Grid shows ranking across map points, and a Local AI Visibility Tracker reports on ChatGPT and Google AI features.
It does not try to be Yext's distribution network. Listings sync starts at the Manage tier, a citation builder is a separate service, and the homepage claim of 15,000+ platform customers is the vendor's own figure. Prices are in dollars, English law governs the terms, and the hosting region is not stated.
What BrightLocal does better than Yext
- Per-location prices and a no-card 14-day trial are public
- Geo-grid rank maps in the entry plan
- A named UK company and parent on Companies House
- Agency-friendly structure for many small clients
Where BrightLocal is a step down from Yext
- Not built for pushing data to hundreds of directories
- Prices in dollars, rising with each location
- Hosting region not stated
Standout against Yext. It shows how a business ranks street by street, which a listings feed alone does not.
Best for: Owners and freelancers who want a to-do list for their Google profile
Localo Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław (KRS 0000880128) turns local SEO into Smart Tasks: weekly actions for profile optimisation, an audit module, profile protection, a review manager and a content publisher. Single Business costs $49 a month ($39 on yearly billing) for one profile; Pro costs $169 ($149 yearly) for 2 to 10 profiles, with a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The scope is Google-centred, so it will not take over Yext's directory feed, though a citations manager and white-label reports exist for agencies. The privacy policy names Paddle.com Inc. in the United States as billing entity for US users, and no hosting region is given.
What Localo does better than Yext
- Public prices from $49 a month, with a trial and money-back guarantee
- Weekly Smart Tasks that guide non-specialists
- White-label reports for agency clients
- Polish company with KRS and VAT number in the footer
Where Localo is a step down from Yext
- Google-centred, with no wide directory distribution
- Prices in dollars and a US billing entity for some users
- Hosting region not stated
Standout against Yext. It tells the owner what to do this week, where Yext gives a platform to configure.
Best for: Retail and fuel chains in Central Europe with many Google Maps listings
LocalZen is operated by Center.AI Sp. z o.o. in Poznań (KRS 0000535162) and belongs to Vercom S.A., a listed Polish group. Its integrations are Google Maps, Bing and Apple Maps, with Facebook marked as coming soon. Listings Protection watches profiles for harmful changes by outsiders, and bulk tools publish posts and offers to selected outlets.
Case studies on the site name Decathlon, New Balance and Amic Energy. Pricing is not published, and a 14-day free trial is offered through a form. The directory list is shorter than Yext's 200+ publishers, and no hosting region is stated on the pages we read.
What LocalZen does better than Yext
- Listings Protection against unwanted edits by third parties
- Named retail and fuel customers in case studies
- Interface in English, Spanish and Polish
- A 14-day trial where Yext offers a demo
Where LocalZen is a step down from Yext
- Only a few directories are named beyond Google, Bing and Apple
- No public price list, like Yext
- Facebook integration is marked as coming soon
Standout against Yext. It guards a profile against outside edits, a protection feature few smaller tools highlight.
Best for: Small chains and independents whose main need is collecting and answering reviews
Reputacion SAS in Malzéville, near Nancy, starts at €19 a month for one establishment and €49 for ten, with a 30-day trial. It collects reviews by QR code, NFC plate, SMS, email or a prize wheel, suggests replies with AI, and raises alerts on negative reviews. The legal notice names OVH as host and an R.C.S. Nancy number.
It is not a Yext replacement for data distribution: locations are imported from a Google Business Profile account, not pushed to hundreds of directories. SMS costs €0.12 per message on top of the plan. The company declares €1,000 share capital, so confirm continuity if you put many outlets on it.
What Reputacion does better than Yext
- Prices from €19 a month are public
- OVH hosting in France named in the legal notice
- Review collection by QR, NFC, SMS and email
- A 30-day trial with full Pro access
Where Reputacion is a step down from Yext
- Listings go through Google Business Profile only
- SMS is billed per message
- The Starter plan covers one establishment
Standout against Yext. It prints a physical review route (QR and NFC) that suits shops with customers at a counter.
Best for: Small firms without a marketer who want listings and SEO in one app
rankingCoach GmbH in Cologne (HRB 74811) is a marketing app for owners of small websites. Its Online Presence module publishes business data to up to 33 directories, and a free edition covers Google Business Profile monitoring, keyword rankings and review notifications. On the UK site, rankingCoach 360 is £30 a month on annual payment.
The tool has no multi-location dashboard or store locator on the pages checked, so it replaces only the entry level of what Yext offers. Pricing differs per country site, and the UK card also mentions a £25 setup fee with £50 a month on monthly payment. No hosting region is stated.
What rankingCoach does better than Yext
- A free edition exists
- Step-by-step video tutorials for non-specialists
- German GmbH with named managing directors
- Website plugins for common CMSs
Where rankingCoach is a step down from Yext
- Up to 33 directories, far fewer than 200+
- No multi-location dashboard seen
- Prices differ per country site
Standout against Yext. It is the one tool here that builds a marketing plan from your own website.
Best for: Shops and agencies that only need to manage Google profiles at very low cost
Reeach is a brand of Onlane GmbH in Düsseldorf (HRB 107118). Basic costs €3.99 a month for one Google Business Profile and Premium costs €5.99 for unlimited profiles, with profile creation and verification inside the tool. There is no minimum term and cancellation is possible at any time.
The scope is narrow: no Apple Maps, Bing, directories, rank tracking or store pages are mentioned. Set against Yext, it handles the Google part of the job and nothing else. The interface is German, and hosting and sub-processors were not confirmed in detail.
What Reeach Listing Manager does better than Yext
- Fixed prices of €3.99 and €5.99 a month
- No minimum term
- Unlimited profiles on Premium
Where Reeach Listing Manager is a step down from Yext
- Google only, with no directory distribution
- German-language interface
Standout against Yext. It is the cheapest way to manage many Google profiles on this page.
Best for: French-speaking independents and small networks in restaurants, beauty and retail
GMB Club is published by Adam Abdelmoumen, trading as A2Z in Hyères, a sole proprietorship with a SIRET number. Plans start at €59 per establishment per month excluding VAT, with degressive rates and a trial of up to a week. Separate agents handle reviews, visibility, social posts, SEO and GEO articles and messaging.
The homepage says it counts more than 900 establishments. Free tools include a Google Maps position check and a profile audit. It covers Google-focused work rather than directory feeds, and only the website hosting (Hostinger, Germany) is stated. A single trader behind many outlets is a continuity question for the contract.
What GMB Club does better than Yext
- Public per-outlet price and online cancellation
- AI replies to reviews in the owner's tone
- Free audit and position tools without an account
Where GMB Club is a step down from Yext
- Run by a sole proprietor, not a company
- Per-outlet price adds up for larger networks
Standout against Yext. It splits the work into named AI agents that the owner approves before anything is published.
What actually breaks when you switch
Moving off Yext means exporting the location master data first: names, addresses, categories, hours, photos and any custom fields. Ask what Yext allows you to export and in which format, and test the import on ten locations at the new vendor before moving the rest. Some publishers keep the old values for days, and a profile that is claimed under Yext's connection may need to be re-linked to the new tool.
Contracts are the second break point. Check the notice period and renewal date of the Yext order form before you sign a new one, and run both systems side by side only as long as needed, because two tools pushing different values to the same profile is how duplicates and wrong opening hours appear. Retrain whoever answers reviews, and recreate franchisee permissions before go-live, not after.
Do I need a 200-publisher feed if I only run five locations?
Probably not. Five locations need consistent data on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook and the directories your customers use in your country, and most of those can be handled through a Google Business Profile connection plus a small set of directory entries. A tool like rankingCoach publishes to up to 33 directories, and BrightLocal sells a citation builder as a separate service.
A chain feed earns its price when location data changes often and by many hands: franchisees, seasonal hours, temporary closures. At five outlets, the cost of an enterprise contract is usually larger than the cost of an hour a month spent checking the main maps by hand.
Can I keep my review history when I leave Yext?
Reviews live on Google, Facebook and the other platforms, not inside the vendor, so the public reviews stay where they are. What you lose is the vendor-side history: reply drafts, internal notes, tags and any reporting built on them. Export what Yext allows before the contract ends and ask the new vendor which of its connectors will import existing reviews.
Tools such as Reputacion, Partoo and GMB Club connect to your Google account and pull reviews in after the link is made, so the practical sequence is to link first and cancel Yext afterwards.
Which one to pick
For chains with hundreds of locations, shortlist Uberall, PinMeTo and Partoo, and use the hosting question to decide: PinMeTo states AWS Ireland and an ISO 27001 certificate, Partoo states EU storage, and Uberall states AWS without a region. If budget visibility matters more than anything else, Localistico is the only one with published bands, starting at €1000 a month.
For small groups and single shops, match the tool to the job. Reputacion or GMB Club for reviews, BrightLocal for ranking grids and citations, Localo or rankingCoach for guided SEO tasks, and Reeach if the whole need is a Google profile at €3.99. LocalZen sits between the two groups for Central European retail chains. Stay on Yext if you rely on its publisher network in markets the European tools do not cover.
Frequently Asked Questions
For chains with hundreds of outlets, Uberall in Berlin, PinMeTo in Malmö and Partoo in Paris are the closest in scope, each with listings, reviews and store pages. For mid-sized chains that want published prices, Localistico in London starts at €1000 a month. For single shops and small groups, Reputacion, Localo, Reeach and BrightLocal cost a fraction of that and rely on Google Business Profile or citations.
Yext, Inc. is a US company based in New York and listed on the NYSE under YEXT. Its locations page and a February 2026 press release show offices in New York, London and Paris. We did not read its terms or privacy policy for this page, so we make no claims about its contracts or hosting.
Yes, if you can do without a wide directory feed. Reeach costs €3.99 a month for one Google profile and €5.99 for unlimited profiles, Reputacion starts at €19 a month for one establishment, and Localo starts at $49. These tools focus on Google Business Profile, reviews or guided tasks rather than distributing data to hundreds of directories.
PinMeTo names AWS Ireland as primary processing, Partoo says storage is on AWS servers within the EU, and Reputacion names OVH in France in its legal notice. Uberall says AWS without a region, and Localistico, BrightLocal, Localo, LocalZen, rankingCoach and Reeach state no region on the pages we checked.
Several do. Uberall offers GEO Studio, an AI Visibility Checker and a GEO Pulse report, Localistico lists an AI Visibility Index and an MCP connection, BrightLocal has a Local AI Visibility Tracker, and GMB Club has an SEO and GEO agent. All of these are vendor descriptions, and we have not tested how accurate any of them is.
