Every European AI meeting assistant reviewed
Rösrath, Germany
Free €0 (10 AI notes a month, 30-minute meetings) / Plus €21, Team €33, Pro €39 per month billed annually, Enterprise on request
Free plan, not time-limited
Best for: Teams that want meeting notes without a bot in the call, from a German company with EU data centres
Jamie is the only tool in this category that combines a verifiable German company, a statement of EU production data, a free plan and prices in euros. The operating company is wespond UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered at the Cologne district court under HRB 100335 with its office at Alte Kölner Straße 25a, 51503 Rösrath. The terms put the contract under German law with exclusive jurisdiction at the company's place of business.
The privacy policy states that production data is stored in data centres in the European Union. It names Google Cloud Platform, PlanetScale, Cloudflare, Modal Labs and OneSignal (Netherlands) among its subprocessors, each with EU processing, and refers to a full list in Annex 2 of the data processing agreement. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the policy says personal data is not used to develop or train AI models.
The product captures audio on the device and is available for Mac, Windows and iPhone, plus web. Pricing is shown in euros: free with 10 AI notes a month and a 30-minute meeting limit, Plus at €21, Team at €33 and Pro at €39 a month billed annually, with 17% off against monthly billing.
What Jamie does well
- German GmbH-type company with a commercial register entry and address
- Production data stated to be in EU data centres
- No bot joins the call; audio is captured on the device
- Free plan that is not time-limited, and prices in euros
- Privacy policy states no use of personal data for training AI models
Where Jamie falls short
- Legal form is an UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a small-capital German company
- Runs on Google Cloud and US-based subprocessors, with EU processing stated
- Free plan is limited to 10 AI notes and 30-minute meetings
- No security certification published on the pages that were read
- The Team plan costs less than Pro, which the pricing page does not explain
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category that gives a German entity, EU production data, no bot and euro prices on the same set of pages.
Neuilly-sur-Seine, France
Demo on request, no public price list found
Best for: French and Francophone organisations that need everything hosted in France
Seedext makes the strongest hosting statement in the category. The privacy policy says all data is hosted exclusively in France by Microsoft Azure France, with AES-256 encryption for stored data, TLS 1.3 on all network communication, and no transfer outside the European Union. Personal data is kept while the account is active and for a maximum of 6 months afterwards.
The publisher is Seedext SAS at 18 rue des Graviers, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, registered at RCS Nanterre under 913 143 632 with share capital of €1,342.60 and VAT number FR73913143632. The legal notice says the website is hosted by Webflow, Inc. in San Francisco; the policy treats the application on app.seedext.com separately.
The product summarises meetings from Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, phone calls and in-person meetings, has a mobile app and a Salesforce integration, and is sold to teams through a demo rather than a public price list. The calendar data it reads is limited to URL and date, and the policy says no event title, description, participants or attachments are collected.
What Seedext does well
- All data hosted exclusively in France, stated in the privacy policy
- AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit
- Calendar access limited to URL and date
- French SAS with RCS number, capital and VAT number in the legal notice
- Retention ends 6 months after the account closes
Where Seedext falls short
- No public prices, so cost cannot be compared before a demo
- The cloud provider is Microsoft, a US company, in its France region
- The marketing website is hosted on Webflow in the United States
- No free plan found
- No security certification published on the pages that were read
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category whose privacy policy says all data is hosted exclusively in one named European country.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Best for: Organisations that already use Amberscript for transcription and want meeting notes from the same company
Amber Notes comes from Amberscript, an Amsterdam transcription company, and inherits its legal footing. The operator of amberscript.com is Amberscript Global B.V., KvK 81461887, at Herengracht 477, 1017 BS Amsterdam, with a second entity, Amberscript GmbH, in Berlin under HRB 278874.
The privacy policy says "Your data is never stored in locations outside of Europe" and that uploaded audio and generated transcripts are never used to train the language models in use. It states ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification and encryption in motion and at rest. It also says third parties are used to transcribe audio, with data processing agreements and NDAs signed.
The Amber Notes site is built with JavaScript and its pricing, platform and hosting detail could not be read from the vendor's own pages, so none is claimed here. What can be said is limited to the company and the Amberscript privacy policy.

- Data stated never to be stored outside Europe
- ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 stated by the vendor

- Younger product than the transcription service behind it
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category that comes with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 stated by a Dutch transcription company.

The vendor names legal, medical, defence and finance as the intended sectors.
The cloud option is hosted in French data centres in Vendée and Paris, with TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, and the site states zero data retention for training. - The Fortress hardware costs up to €19,990 before seat fees
- No certification published on the pages that were read
- Hosting statements come from the marketing site, not from a separate security page
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category that can be delivered as a server on the customer's own premises.
Brussels, Belgium
Starter $12, AI-Meeting $23, Business $39 per month (struck-through list prices $15, $29, $49), Enterprise on request; add-ons Governance $5, Coach $16, Scaleway storage $5
No free plan, free trials on the paid tiers
Best for: Sales and customer teams that want the AI step on Mistral and EU-region Azure
Leexi is a Belgian company despite the French associations that surround it. Its legal notice gives LEEXI at 2 Avenue Herrmann Debroux, 1160 Brussels, with VAT number BE 0782 527 110 and share capital of €974,000. The privacy policy states that data is hosted on AWS servers located in Europe and does not name a country.
Its subprocessor list is the most explicit in the category about the AI step: Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service in EU regions, Mistral AI, and the speech-to-text providers Gladia, ElevenLabs and Microsoft Azure Speech. It also lists Pipedrive and Google Sheets, both US-based, for CRM and spreadsheet work.
Pricing is listed in US dollars: Starter at $12, AI-Meeting at $23 and Business at $39 a month, with higher struck-through list prices, and an Enterprise tier on request. A Scaleway add-on at $5 a month is described as a French cloud storage alternative. There is no free plan, only trials.

- No free plan
- The hosting country is not named, only "Europe" on AWS
- Pipedrive and Google Sheets appear among the subprocessors
- The pricing page shows a struck-through price, so the real price depends on the promotion
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category that names a European model provider, Mistral AI, in its own subprocessor list.
Toulouse, France
Best for: Recruiters and sales teams that want ATS and CRM plugins on a French platform
Noota is a French company: NOOTA SAS, registered at the Toulouse commercial court under RCS 888 965 951, with an office at 13 rue Sainte Ursule, 31000 Toulouse and share capital of €1,000. Its terms put disputes under French law and before the French courts.
The security page states that the platform runs on Google Cloud Platform with data centres exclusively in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, with 256-bit AES encryption at rest, TLS 1.2 and 1.3 in transit, keys managed by Google Cloud KMS, and a statement that customer data is not used to train its models. It reports penetration tests by Synacktiv.
The certification claims are not consistent. The homepage lists ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II as held, while the security page says the SOC 2 Type II audit is ongoing and ISO 27001 is in preparation. St. Gallen, Switzerland
Basic CHF 29, Pro CHF 49 per month billed annually (the terms list CHF 59 and CHF 99 on monthly billing), Enterprise on request
Best for: Swiss and German-speaking organisations with Swiss German meetings and a preference for Swiss servers
Meeting Metrics GmbH is a Swiss company, UID CHE-355.175.403, at Lerchenfeldstrasse 3, 9014 St. Gallen. Its terms apply Swiss law with jurisdiction in St. Gallen. The privacy policy says servers are in St. Gallen, hosted by HostTech, and that audio and video files do not leave them.
Text is a different matter. The policy says only text is passed to the language model providers it names, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI, and that Enterprise customers can run fully local processing in Switzerland. It also lists Stripe, HubSpot, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, with US transfers relying on Standard Contractual Clauses and the data privacy frameworks.
The product transcribes in 57 languages including Swiss German and records on desktop and mobile apps without a bot. The site lists Basic at CHF 29 and Pro at CHF 49 a month on annual billing, while the terms list CHF 59 and CHF 99 on monthly billing.

Wudpecker is a Finnish company, Wudpecker Oy in Helsinki. Its terms apply Finnish law and send disputes to arbitration in Helsinki under the Finland Chamber of Commerce rules, with liability capped at the lesser of €5,000 or six months of fees. A business ID and street address were not found on the pages that were read.
The privacy policy names the storage precisely: AWS servers in two EU regions, Frankfurt (eu-central-1) and Stockholm (eu-north-1). It also names the OpenAI API as the service used to summarise meeting transcripts, and does not address training on meeting content. Default retention under the terms is the current year plus two previous calendar years.
The product works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams and supports 39 languages. Free gives 10 meetings a month with the notetaker bot, Plus at $19 gives 30 and Pro at $32 gives 100, with 20% off annually and a 2-week trial. Recording in the desktop and phone apps is unlimited on every plan.

tl;dv is published by tldx Solutions GmbH, registered at the Aachen district court under HRB 23730, with its office at Kaiser-Friedrich-Allee 51, 52074 Aachen and VAT number DE330894275. It is the largest tool in this list by claimed user base, at over 2 million users on its homepage.
The privacy policy names Google Cloud and Wasabi in Germany and Hetzner in Germany and Finland, and says personal data is primarily processed and stored in the European Economic Area. The exception is stated in the same policy: AI features may process transcripts in the US if the user selects that hosting preference. The AI subprocessors include Anthropic and Google Vertex, with AssemblyAI and ElevenLabs for transcription.
The product records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, and a free forever plan includes unlimited recordings and transcripts. Paid plan prices could not be read on the vendor's own pages. Customer content is stated never to be used to train AI models, and the homepage names SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Buzău, Romania
Founded 2021
Free (3 hours a month) / Pro $15.99, Business $27 per user per month, Enterprise on request, 30% off for startups, non-profits and education
Free plan, not time-limited
Best for: Teams that want a free plan and are willing to pick the EU instance at sign-up
MeetGeek runs two separate instances and says so in its terms: the instance a customer signs up to decides the contracting company, the data location and the governing law. The EU instance is contracted with AIVISION PRODUCTS SRL, CUI 43674804, J10/164/2021, at Str. Vânători nr. 5, Buzău, Romania, with data stored in the EU under Romanian law. The US instance is MeetGeek US Infra, Inc. in Dover, Delaware.
That makes MeetGeek the one tool here where the European status depends on a sign-up choice. The pricing page lists EU and US data residency options on all plans and names SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA.
Plans are listed in US dollars: a free plan with 3 hours of transcription a month and 3 months of storage, Pro at $15.99 per user a month with 20 hours, Business at $27 with unlimited transcription, and Enterprise on request. Startups, non-profits and educational institutions get 30% off.

Tallinn, Estonia
Solo €49 (600 minutes), Business Voice €99 per seat (1,200 pooled minutes), Sales €179 per seat (2,500 pooled minutes) per month
No free plan seen; unsigned demo sessions are deleted after 90 days
Best for: Sales and recruiting teams that live on the phone and accept an unverified company and an unnamed storage region
Superscribe is an iPhone app that records calls on a number of its own, so the customer keeps the carrier and the number, and turns calls and meetings into notes, tasks and follow-ups, with a keyboard for dictation, an Estonian-language speech model and a Pipedrive integration. It is included at the site owner's decision, at the bottom of the ranking, because two things that the other ten tools meet could not be confirmed.
The first is the company. The terms give only an email address and the privacy policy names no data controller, registry code or address.
The App Store lists the seller as Haugas Development OÜ in Tallinn, and the Estonian business register shows that company under registry code 12762577, registered 2 December 2014, with VAT number EE101968931 and share capital of €2,500.
The register also shows annual reports for 2024 and 2025 not submitted and a deletion notice in the Official Announcements, and its address differs from the one in the App Store. The link between the company and superscribe.io rests on the App Store listing, not on the vendor's own site.
The second is storage. The privacy policy says voice recordings are kept in AWS S3 and other data in MongoDB Atlas, names ElevenLabs as the transcription provider and gives no region for any of them. Pricing is published in euros: Solo at €49 for 600 minutes, Business Voice at €99 per seat for 1,200 pooled minutes and Sales at €179 per seat for 2,500 pooled minutes a month.
What Superscribe does well
- Records calls without a meeting bot and without the other party installing anything
- Speech model built for Estonian alongside English
- Prices published in euros for every tier
- Estonian company found in the national business register
- Recordings and account data can be deleted by the user at any time
Where Superscribe falls short
- The terms and privacy policy name no company, registry code or address
- Recordings are on AWS S3 and other data on MongoDB Atlas, with no region stated
- The register entry carries a deletion notice and annual reports for 2024 and 2025 not submitted
- The link between the register entity and superscribe.io rests on the App Store listing only
- No free plan, and transcription is sent to ElevenLabs
Standout feature. It is the only tool in this category built around recording phone calls on its own number rather than joining a video meeting.
