European Alternatives to Yotpo

Looking for a European alternative to Yotpo? Yotpo's terms name Yotpo Ltd as the provider and apply New York law for US customers and English law for the rest, while its privacy policy says personal data is processed in the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, the EU, Australia and the Philippines. Pricing is tied to monthly order volume: the Starter reviews plan is $89 a month for up to 500 orders.

The European tools below collect and display product reviews through companies registered in the UK, Germany, Norway, Poland, Denmark and the Netherlands, with prices that range from a free plan to a quoted enterprise contract.

How we rank these tools — 4-step process
  1. 1
    European ownership, verified

The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Israel, and processes customer data in Europe or Israel. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.

  2. 2
    Category fit and hands-on review

What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.

  3. 3
    Compliance and pricing check

GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.

  4. 4
    Position on this page

Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.

Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Paid placement can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. Editorial policy

Key takeaways

  • Yotpo's pricing page lists Starter at $89 a month and Pro at $169 a month, both for up to 500 orders per month, with Premium and Enterprise quoted.
  • Yotpo's privacy policy names the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, the EU, Australia and the Philippines as places where personal data is stored and processed.
  • Judge.me Ltd offers unlimited product and store reviews on a free plan and caps its paid plan at $15 a month, so price does not rise with orders.
  • Trusted Shops GmbH in Cologne bundles order-linked reviews with a trustmark and buyer protection insurance, which Yotpo does not sell.
  • Yotpo is stronger than every European tool on this page where a brand needs loyalty, SMS or retail syndication on top of reviews.

Why people leave Yotpo

Yotpo sells a platform for customer content and retention. Its Terms of Service describe solutions for customer reviews, visual marketing, SMS and MMS programs, and loyalty and referrals, and its pricing page lets you pick a product before it shows a plan. A store that bought it only for star ratings is therefore paying for a platform whose other parts it may never switch on.

The legal picture is mixed rather than simply American. The privacy policy says Yotpo Ltd. is headquartered in Israel and Yotpo UK Limited is established in the UK, and that transfers from the EEA to Israel rest on an adequacy decision. It also says Yotpo Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and that personal data is stored and processed in the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, the Philippines and other locations.

Outside the United States the Terms apply the law of England and Wales, with the courts of London. None of that is unusual for an international SaaS vendor. It does mean a European merchant signs with a group whose data flows reach six named countries, and that is the starting point for the question this page answers: which European vendors collect and display product reviews, and where are they weaker than Yotpo?

  • Price follows order volume The pricing page is organised by monthly order volume. Starter is listed at $89 a month and Pro at $169 a month, both against up to 500 orders per month, and Premium and Enterprise are quoted. A shop that grows pays more even when its review workflow stays the same. Judge.me caps its single paid plan at $15 a month, and Trustami and WebwinkelKeur publish flat monthly tiers.
  • Reviews are one product among several Yotpo's Terms list reviews next to visual marketing, SMS and MMS, and loyalty programs. If you only need collection and display, the loyalty and messaging logic is surplus, and some of the data processing described in the privacy policy exists to serve those parts. A dedicated review tool such as Lipscore or Kiyoh keeps the contract narrower.
  • The processing map is wide The privacy policy names the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, the EU, Australia and the Philippines, and adds "other locations". It relies on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses and the Data Privacy Framework to cover transfers. A European vendor does not make that chain disappear, but TrustMate states AWS data centres in Europe and ShopVote lists German hosting.
  • Dispute forum sits in London or New York Article 15 of the Terms sends non-US customers to English law and the London courts, and US customers to New York law and New York County courts. For a Dutch or German shop that is a foreign forum either way. Kiyoh B.V., Trusted Shops GmbH and Trustami GmbH are established in EU member states, so a claim against them runs through a court you can reach in Europe.

What you have to replace, not just match

The first thing to replace is the collection flow. Yotpo's pricing page lists automatic review requests, reminders by email and SMS, manual requests for past shoppers uploaded as a contact list, a drag-and-drop email editor, photo and video reviews, review coupons and custom questions.

Most European tools cover the automatic request after an order. The manual upload of past customers and the coupon-for-review mechanic are less common, so list which of them you use before you compare. Judge.me lists coupons and referrals on its paid plan, and Lipscore lists SMS invitations as an add-on.

The second is what the shopper sees: the on-site widget, star ratings on category and product pages, Google rich snippets, a seller rating for Google and syndication to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Google stars are the part most stores care about, and the European tools differ on which plan carries them: Judge.me includes rich snippets on its free plan, Trustami from its Pro plan, Feefo on every plan. Retail syndication to partner retailers is an add-on at Yotpo and has no direct counterpart among the tools here, so a brand that sells through retailers should treat it as a gap.

The third is the archive. Yotpo says on its pricing page that a switch does not mean parting with your reviews, and it offers review import for people arriving.

The reverse direction is the question for you: ask Yotpo for an export of reviews with photos, ratings, dates and order references before you cancel, then check whether your new tool imports them. Lipscore lists review import from a previous provider among its core features and has a comparison page for brands leaving Yotpo.

How each alternative compares to Yotpo

#1

Judge.me

The price answer: unlimited reviews on a free plan, one paid plan at $15

London, United KingdomFree plan; Awesome plan $15 per month (USD, per the pricing page)#1 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on the pages reviewed.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Shopify stores that pay Yotpo by order volume and only need product reviews

Against Yotpo's Starter at $89 a month, Judge.me Ltd of London lists a free plan with unlimited product and store reviews, photo and video reviews and Google rich snippets. The one paid plan costs $15 a month and adds AI summaries, social and Google Shopping syndication, referrals and coupons. The change a merchant notices first is that growth no longer moves the invoice.

The reach is wide for a small tool: a widget catalogue with carousels, grids and an Instagram view, syndication to TikTok Shop and Meta Shop, and auto-translation into 38 languages. The company states SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 on its pricing page. Where the data is physically hosted is not stated on the pages we read, so put that question to Judge.me in writing.

What Judge.me does better than Yotpo

  • a price that stays flat at $15 however many orders you ship
  • unlimited photo and video reviews on the free plan
  • 38-language auto-translation without a higher tier
  • referrals and coupons included in the paid plan

Where Judge.me is a step down from Yotpo

  • built for Shopify, so a WooCommerce or Magento shop should look elsewhere
  • no loyalty program, SMS marketing or retail syndication
  • no trustmark and no stated hosting region

Standout against Yotpo. Judge.me is the only tool here where the whole price list is a free plan and one $15 plan.

Trusted Shops

Adds a trustmark and buyer protection that Yotpo has no equivalent for

Cologne, GermanyPer shop per month, tiered by order volume, published; buyer protection add-on priced separately#3 in Reputation Management

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Shops selling into Germany and Austria that want reviews and purchase insurance together

Trusted Shops GmbH in Cologne approaches the problem from the other end. Yotpo sells review software; Trusted Shops sells a trustmark first, bundles buyer protection insurance with it and runs order-linked reviews alongside. The company says more than 30,000 businesses in eleven European countries use its services, which is a vendor figure we have not audited.

Pricing is published in tiers per shop per month by order volume, so the cost logic resembles Yotpo's more than Judge.me's does. Expect the buyer protection add-on to come up again at renewal. If most of your customers are outside the German-speaking markets, the badge will mean less to them than to shoppers in Cologne or Vienna.

What Trusted Shops does better than Yotpo

  • a trustmark with insurance behind it, not only a review widget
  • contract with an EU (German) entity and a German supervisory authority
  • invitations restricted to real orders

Where Trusted Shops is a step down from Yotpo

  • price rises with order volume, as it does at Yotpo
  • badge recognition falls outside German-speaking markets
  • no loyalty, SMS or visual content tools

Standout against Yotpo. Trusted Shops pairs reviews with buyer protection insurance, a combination Yotpo does not offer.

Lipscore

A review specialist from Oslo with an explicit Yotpo migration path

Oslo, NorwayCustom pricing; no fixed packages on the pricing page#3 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. EEA, not EU (Norway). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. Not stated; the privacy policy allows storage in any country where Lipscore operates.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Mid-sized retailers that track response rates and want to import an existing review archive

Lipscore AS in Oslo sells ratings and reviews and little else, which is the narrower contract many Yotpo customers want. Its site quotes a 27.8 percent response rate for GANT and a rise from 2.5 to 13.6 percent for Bagbrokers; those are case studies chosen by the vendor, not averages. Review import from a previous provider is among its listed core features.

Product reviews, service reviews and in-store invitations are separate modules, with stars in Google organic results and Ads listed as extras. Lipscore Analytics reports invitations sent, response rates and the top and bottom 100 products. Prices are quoted per customer, and the privacy policy permits processing in any country where Lipscore operates, so the hosting question stays open.

What Lipscore does better than Yotpo

  • a documented import route and comparison page for people leaving Yotpo
  • product-level analytics on response and conversion
  • physical store invitations alongside online reviews
  • a Norwegian contracting entity in the EEA

Where Lipscore is a step down from Yotpo

  • no published prices, so no budgeting from the website
  • heavier to set up than a free app
  • no loyalty or retail syndication

Standout against Yotpo. Lipscore is the one tool here that builds its sales page around the share of customers who answer the invitation.

Trustpilot

Public profile consumers search for, not a widget you fully control

Copenhagen, DenmarkFree tier for claiming a profile and replying to reviews; paid Plus, Premium and higher tiers largely quoted per domain#2 in Reputation Management

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Denmark). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.
  • Independently checked. Publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange; Danish company register CVR 30 27 65 82.

Best for: Brands whose shoppers already check Trustpilot before they buy

Trustpilot A/S of Copenhagen, CVR 30 27 65 82, runs a public review profile that shoppers look up by brand name. That differs from Yotpo, where reviews live mainly inside your own storefront. Trustpilot has a free tier for claiming a profile and replying, and paid tiers add invitation automation, analytics and product review pages for each SKU.

The openness cuts both ways. Anyone can leave a review, you cannot restrict invitations to chosen customers, and negative reviews are hard to remove by design. Paid plans are mostly quoted per domain. A separate US entity, Trustpilot Inc, serves customers in the US, Canada and Mexico, so check which contract you are offered.

What Trustpilot does better than Yotpo

  • consumer recognition across Europe that Yotpo's embedded widget cannot match
  • a free tier for claiming a profile and answering reviews
  • strict policy against fake and incentivised reviews

Where Trustpilot is a step down from Yotpo

  • paid plans mostly quote-only
  • no control over who is invited to review
  • product review features are thinner than a dedicated tool's

Standout against Yotpo. Trustpilot's profile lives on a domain shoppers already trust, independent of the seller's own site.

Feefo

Verified-transaction reviews at two published sterling prices

Petersfield, Hampshire, United KingdomEssentials from GBP 149 per month with 200 email requests, Enhanced from GBP 299 per month with 500 email requests, Plus on request; all plus VAT#10 in Reputation Management

  • Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: UK-facing retailers that want WhatsApp and SMS collection and Google Seller Ratings

Feefo Holdings Limited, registered in England and Wales under 07191962, publishes its two entry prices: Essentials from GBP 149 a month with 200 email requests, and Enhanced from GBP 299 with 500 email requests, all plus VAT. Plus is custom. Each plan includes Google Seller Ratings, rich snippets, AI summaries and replies and more than 50 integrations.

Feefo says it has collected more than 80 million reviews for 6,500 brands and that every review comes from a verified customer, collected by email, WhatsApp or SMS. It sits outside the EEA under the UK adequacy decision, and request volumes are capped per plan, so a shop with many orders will reach the next tier quickly.

What Feefo does better than Yotpo

  • two prices you can read without a sales call
  • WhatsApp and SMS collection included in the plans
  • Google Seller Ratings and rich snippets on every plan

Where Feefo is a step down from Yotpo

  • UK vendor, outside the EEA
  • request volumes capped per plan
  • no free tier and a quote-only top plan

Standout against Yotpo. Feefo is the only tool here with two sterling prices and WhatsApp collection in the base plans.

Kiyoh

Dutch seal with order-linked invitations and prices by invitation volume

Zaltbommel, NetherlandsPer month by invitation volume, published on the vendor site#4 in Reputation Management

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Netherlands). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Dutch and Belgian webshops that want a recognised seal and a predictable monthly cost

Kiyoh B.V. in Zaltbommel ties every invitation to a real order and publishes prices by invitation volume. Compared with Yotpo, which prices on orders, the unit is what you actually send. The vendor calls itself the most reliable review platform in the Netherlands, which is its own claim; the seal is familiar to Dutch and Belgian shoppers.

Outside the Benelux and Germany the badge is little known, the interface reads as dated and reporting is lighter than in suites built for multiple locations. Kiyoh is also a Google Shopping review partner, according to its own pages. For a store selling across Europe to unfamiliar markets, the seal adds less than it does at home.

What Kiyoh does better than Yotpo

  • a seal Dutch shoppers know, which Yotpo's widget does not provide
  • invitations limited to genuine orders
  • a Dutch B.V. under EU law

Where Kiyoh is a step down from Yotpo

  • little recognition outside the Benelux and Germany
  • reporting is thinner
  • no free tier

Standout against Yotpo. Kiyoh puts an order-linked review flow behind a seal that Dutch shoppers already recognise.

Managed service with manual verification, but no published price

Berlin, GermanyQuoted on request; no published pricing#7 in Reputation Management

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Larger shops that want a vendor team to check reviews and handle disputes

eKomi Holding GmbH in Berlin verifies reviews manually with its own team on top of automated filtering, and supplies dispute tools for negative feedback. It reports more than 15,000 clients and 50.2 million reviews in 26 countries, which are vendor figures. Reviews feed Google Seller Ratings directly.

Every plan is a quote after a demo, the way Yotpo's Premium and Enterprise plans are. No ISO or TUV certificate is disclosed beyond GDPR, the interface reads as dated, and eKomi keeps a US office in Beverly Hills next to its Berlin headquarters. Ask which entity signs your contract.

What eKomi does better than Yotpo

  • manual verification by a human team
  • dispute handling for negative reviews
  • a German contracting entity

Where eKomi is a step down from Yotpo

  • no published pricing
  • no certification disclosed
  • dated interface and a US office

Standout against Yotpo. eKomi is the one tool here where staff, not only filters, check the reviews.

TrustMate

Polish review platform with zloty pricing and European AWS hosting

Wroclaw, PolandFrom 32 PLN per month (50 invitations); 122 PLN per month and 491 PLN per month tiers (pricing page, in Polish)#8 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Poland). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. AWS data centres in Europe, per the privacy policy.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Polish and Central European shops that want long reviews as search content

TrustMate S.A. of Wroclaw (KRS 0000737597) lists plans from 32 PLN a month for 50 invitations, 122 PLN for 250 or 600 and 491 PLN for 2,000, with 18 percent off for annual payment. Its privacy policy says data is processed only in AWS data centres in Europe. That is a concrete answer to the location question Yotpo's policy leaves wide.

A feature called SEO Rocket fills the widgets with longer customer reviews, a reputation manager splits invitations between TrustMate, Google and social media, and shoppers can ask product questions. The pricing page is Polish, the entry plan caps at 50 invitations and the founding year was not verified.

What TrustMate does better than Yotpo

  • a stated European processing location
  • product questions and a reputation manager in one tool
  • entry price in the tens of zloty

Where TrustMate is a step down from Yotpo

  • Polish-first pricing page
  • small international footprint

Standout against Yotpo. TrustMate steers the invitations between its own profile, Google and social media.

Pulls ratings from other platforms into one profile; product reviews cost more

Berlin, GermanyFree profile; Basic from EUR 19.99, Pro from EUR 49.99, Pro Plus from EUR 149.99, Enterprise from EUR 299.99 per month#9 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on the pages reviewed.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: German shops that collect ratings on several platforms and want one profile and a seal

Trustami GmbH of Berlin (HRB 167962) starts from reviews you already have. A free profile imports unlimited ratings from unlimited platforms, and paid tiers add a seal, Google stars from Pro and daily updates. All five tiers show a starting price, from EUR 19.99 for Basic to EUR 299.99 for Enterprise.

Product reviews only arrive on Pro Plus at EUR 149.99 a month, the fourth tier. That is well above Judge.me and not far below Yotpo's second tier, so the case for Trustami is the aggregation and the seal, not the price. Hosting region and founding year were not verified.

What Trustami does better than Yotpo

  • a free profile that aggregates existing ratings
  • a price list that shows every tier
  • review insurance in the Pro Plus plan

Where Trustami is a step down from Yotpo

  • product reviews only from EUR 149.99 per month

Free shop reviews with German hosting, product reviews as a paid add-on

Munich, GermanyShop reviews free; All-Inclusive premium package EUR 199 per year; product reviews from EUR 35.90 per month (excl. VAT)#10 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. German hosting, per the feature table.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: German-speaking shops that want free shop reviews first and product reviews later

Blickreif GmbH in Munich (HRB 179973) has run ShopVote since 2007 and keeps the basic functions free. Shop reviews have no monthly limit and are passed to Google. Product reviews are a premium add-on from EUR 35.90 a month excluding VAT, against $89 for Yotpo's Starter, and the feature table lists German hosting.

Reviews are checked through email addresses and order or customer numbers and flagged by users. ShopVote says paying for premium gives no ranking advantage. The portal model means reviews also live on ShopVote's profile, the interface is German-first, and there is no public price for enterprise needs.

What ShopVote does better than Yotpo

  • shop reviews at no charge
  • German hosting stated in the feature table
  • a lower entry price for product reviews

Where ShopVote is a step down from Yotpo

  • product reviews cost extra
  • German-first interface
  • portal model keeps reviews on ShopVote's profile too

Standout against Yotpo. ShopVote has charged nothing for shop reviews since 2007, with product reviews sold separately.

Cheap Dutch trustmark with legal templates; reviews are the smaller half

Enschede, NetherlandsStart EUR 12, Plus from EUR 18, Pro from EUR 33 per month excl. VAT; first year 25 percent off (pricing page)#11 in Product Reviews Software

  • Which law reaches it. EU (Netherlands). Yotpo is operated from Israel, outside the EU and without an adequacy decision, so transfers rest on contractual safeguards rather than on the data staying inside the EEA.
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on the pages reviewed.
  • Source code. Closed source, as Yotpo is.

Best for: Small Dutch webshops that want a trustmark, legal documents and basic reviews at EUR 12

WebwinkelKeur B.V. in Enschede (KvK 53020162) sells a trustmark first and a review service second. Start is EUR 12 a month, Plus from EUR 18 and Pro from EUR 33, excluding VAT, with 25 percent off in the first year. Terms and privacy templates, dispute mediation and legal advice come with all plans.

Product reviews are a paid option on every plan, and the page gives no price for them. Plus lets you forward part of the invitations to Google and Trustpilot, and Pro adds multilingual invitations. Up to five shops fit in one account. It is built around the Dutch market, and the hosting region was not verified.

What WebwinkelKeur does better than Yotpo

  • an entry plan at a fraction of Yotpo's $89
  • legal documents and mediation included
  • up to five shops in one account

Where WebwinkelKeur is a step down from Yotpo

  • product reviews are a paid option with no listed price

Standout against Yotpo. WebwinkelKeur is the only tool here that includes legal templates and complaint mediation in the base price.

What actually breaks when you switch

Three things break first. The Yotpo script on your product pages emits the star markup, so the stars vanish the day you remove it, before the new widget has been crawled.

The review request emails carry Yotpo's sender and templates, so the first weeks after a switch usually see fewer responses while customers get used to a new sender. And any integration that reads ratings from Yotpo, such as a feed to a marketplace or a loyalty trigger, needs rebuilding against the new tool.

The contract matters too. Check the notice period and renewal in your order form, ask for an export that includes photos, dates and order references, and keep Yotpo running in parallel until the new tool has sent its first full round of invitations. The Terms also tie your access to the term of the agreement, so an export should happen before cancellation, not after.

Can I keep Yotpo for loyalty and move only the reviews?

Yes, in principle, because Yotpo sells reviews and loyalty as separate products and the pricing page asks you to choose one before showing plans. The practical limit is that the two share a storefront integration and customer data, so a split means two sets of scripts on the page and two lists of customers to keep consistent.

Run the reviews migration first, on a quiet month, and leave loyalty untouched until the new review widget is live and the Google stars have reappeared. Only then decide whether the loyalty side is worth its own price once reviews no longer sit in the same bill.

Does leaving Yotpo cost me my Google stars?

Not necessarily, but they can disappear for some weeks. The stars come from structured data on the product page, which Yotpo's widget emits. When you remove its script, the markup goes with it, and Google needs to crawl the new widget's markup before stars return.

To shorten the gap, install the new tool alongside Yotpo on a handful of products, check the markup in Google's rich result test, and only then switch the rest. Judge.me, Lipscore, Kiyoh, ShopVote and TrustMate all describe a path to Google stars, as covered in the comparisons below.

Which one to pick

If you run Shopify and only use Yotpo for reviews, start with Judge.me: the price difference is the largest of any option here and the free plan lets you test the widget and the Google stars before you commit. If you sell mainly in Germany or Austria and shoppers look for a seal, Trusted Shops is the natural pick, and for Dutch webshops Kiyoh or WebwinkelKeur, depending on whether the seal or the legal templates matter more.

If your team tracks response rates and wants an import path, look at Lipscore; if reviews on a public profile are the goal, Trustpilot; if you need verified transactions with WhatsApp collection, Feefo. Stay with Yotpo when loyalty, SMS or retail syndication are a real part of your programme, because no European tool on this page replaces them.

Frequently Asked Questions

For a Shopify store that wants product reviews at a fixed price, Judge.me is the closest match, with a free plan and a single $15 plan from a UK company. Trusted Shops suits a shop that also wants a trustmark and buyer protection. Lipscore fits retailers that measure response rates, Kiyoh and WebwinkelKeur fit Dutch webshops, and TrustMate fits Polish shops that want long reviews as search content.

Not entirely. Yotpo's privacy policy says Yotpo Ltd. is headquartered in Israel and Yotpo UK Limited is established in the UK, while Yotpo Inc. is the entity certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The Terms use English law outside the US and New York law inside it. For a European buyer the point is the spread of processing locations, not a single country.

Yotpo's pricing page lists Starter at $89 a month and Pro at $169 a month, each for up to 500 orders a month, and quotes Premium and Enterprise. Judge.me has a free plan and one $15 plan, WebwinkelKeur starts at EUR 12, TrustMate at 32 PLN, Trusted Shops, Kiyoh and Feefo scale with volume, and Lipscore, Trustpilot and eKomi quote on request.

Trusted Shops, Kiyoh and Feefo tie invitations to orders or transactions, and ShopVote checks email addresses and order or customer numbers. eKomi adds manual verification by its own team. Trustpilot is the exception: its profile is open, so anyone can write a review and you cannot restrict invitations to chosen customers.

Lipscore lists review import from a previous provider among its core features and publishes a comparison page for brands leaving Yotpo. For the other tools, ask the vendor before signing whether it accepts a CSV export with ratings, photos and order references, because the pages we checked do not say so.
