Addingwell hosts Google Tag Manager server containers so that a team can stop running its own Cloud Run project. The product adds a custom domain, a CDN for the gtm.js and gtag.js scripts, tag health monitoring and event consent monitoring, and it publishes its prices: a free plan up to 100,000 requests and paid steps from €90 a month for 1,000,000 requests.
Addingwell SAS is based in Lille, and its privacy policy cites an RCS Paris number, which is how the register entry is written there. According to the vendor, the company joined Didomi in 2025. Which regions Addingwell hosts in was not checked, and the vendor's uplift figures for ROAS and traffic recovery are its own claims.
What Addingwell does well
- Public monthly prices with six volume steps
- Free plan up to 100,000 requests
- Event-level consent monitoring
- Documentation covers ITP, ad blockers and offline events

- Every feature on every plan, including Free
- Hosting in Amsterdam stated on the pricing page

- Flat multi-domain plans up to ten domains
- EU-law DPA included on all plans

Best for: Larger sites and publishers that want a replacement tag manager with managed EU hosting
JENTIS is a tag manager of its own, from Vienna, that runs client-side and server-side tags together. It does not host Google's container, so adopting it means rebuilding tags. The feature list includes raw data access, a mobile SDK, persistent cookies, native connectors and SSO.
JENTIS GmbH appears in the imprint under Commercial Court of Vienna 529675i, with VAT number ATU75406106. Where JENTIS falls short
- No public prices

Best for: Enterprises and public bodies that want a tag manager in the same suite as analytics and consent
Piwik PRO bundles analytics, a tag manager, a customer data platform and a consent manager, so the tag manager here is one module of a wider suite. The category page lists the tag manager next to a link to the consent manager, with hosting in Sweden.
Piwik PRO S.A. is based in Wroclaw, Poland, and was founded in 2013. It states EU-only data centres and no US transfers for EU customers. A free core plan exists and paid plans are quoted. Next to the hosts in this list it is a larger product than a site needs if hosting is the only question.
What Piwik PRO does well
- Four modules from one supplier: analytics, tags, CDP and consent
- The consent signal and the measurement come from one system
- Data centres only in the EU, according to the vendor
- Analytical depth aimed at Google Analytics 360 users
- Core tier costs nothing
Where Piwik PRO falls short

Best for: Enterprise marketing teams that want tag collection, consent and a CDP under one French contract
Commanders Act started as a server-side tag management business and still sells the Enterprise Tag Manager, with more than 100 server-side destinations and consent state attached to events. A Real-Time CDP and, since the Adloop acquisition in October 2023, ad-spend optimisation make up the rest of the suite.
The company trades under that name but is registered as Fjord Technologies in Paris, SIREN 527 730 782. It publishes no pricing, advertises no free trial and gives no founding year, and the vendor does not say where it hosts. Every plan is scoped in a sales conversation.
What Commanders Act does well
- Tags, consent and customer profiles bought from the same Paris company
- Hosting in the EU is stated by the vendor
- Customer profiles can be unified, split into segments and pushed to channels in real time
- Adloop, bought in 2023, brings ad-spend optimisation into the same contract
Where Commanders Act falls short
- Prices are never shown publicly
- No trial is offered on the vendor site
- The CDP is one of three lines, so it is less specialised than a pure CDP
- The vendor gives no founding year
Standout feature. It owns both the tag collection and the consent layer, so no seam sits between them.
