Detailed Review
Addingwell takes the server half of Google Tag Manager off your hands. You point a subdomain at the service, connect your container, and Addingwell runs, scales and monitors the tagging server. It states that it counts only incoming requests to your container, including script downloads such as gtm.js.
The contracting company is Addingwell SAS, with its seat in Lille. Since 2025 the product has been part of Didomi, the Paris consent management vendor (Didomi SAS, RCS Paris 831 722 756), and the homepage now sells it as Addingwell by Didomi.
Plans Counted in Requests
The pricing page lists monthly steps rather than named tiers: 1,000,000 requests cost €90 and 5,000,000 cost €120, with further steps up to 100,000,000 requests at €1,190. Overage is charged per 100,000 requests at the end of the cycle and is not carried over between months.
Instead of a trial period the vendor offers a free plan with up to 100,000 requests. Extra containers (€30 a month), domains (€10) and regions (€20) are separate add-ons, which suits agencies that put several sites on one account.
Monitoring and Consent Visibility
The homepage describes a Tag Health view with alerts and error logs, and the documentation lists Logs, Event Consent Monitoring, Offline Events and Alerts under its advanced section. The consent view shows the consent state attached to each request, which is the link to Didomi's consent platform.
The same documentation covers the Safari workarounds, a reverse proxy and a cookie restore option, so the ad-blocker and ITP topics are handled in setup guides rather than hidden behind a sales call.
Fit Against Google's Own Server
Compared with running a Cloud Run server yourself, you give up direct control of the cloud account and get a bill in euros, support by email, chat and phone, and a tool built around the container. The homepage names Lebara, OUIGO, Decathlon and BrewDog as customers.
Limitations to Consider
Prices are listed in euros but the hosting regions and sub-processors were not checked on the pages read. Event consent monitoring is tied to Didomi's ecosystem, and the vendor's uplift figures (ROAS and traffic recovery) are its own claims. Not seen: the review rests on the vendor's public pages, not on a hands-on test.
Who Should Use Addingwell
Teams that already use sGTM and want a French vendor with public prices, or that plan to pair tagging with a Didomi consent setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The privacy policy names Addingwell SAS, 165 Avenue de Bretagne, 59000 Lille, and the homepage states that it joined Didomi in 2025. Didomi's legal notice gives Didomi SAS in Paris as its publisher.
There is a free plan with up to 100,000 requests. Paid steps start at €90 per month for 1,000,000 requests, with extra containers at €30, domains at €10 and regions at €20 per month.
Not entirely. Addingwell hosts the server container, so you still build tags in Google Tag Manager, but the server runs on Addingwell's infrastructure instead of your own Google Cloud account.
