Detailed Review
Vereinsplaner is operated by Vereinsplaner GmbH, Gruberstraße 1 A, 4020 Linz (Firmenbuch FN 510632 f). The imprint lists Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg as the countries the software supports.
Every plan allows unlimited members; plans differ in accounts, groups, storage and modules. The Free plan includes member management, dues, the web and mobile app, events and news, chat and polls.
Plans
Free allows 5 accounts and 1 group with 50 MB of storage. Pro (12.42 EUR per month, 149 EUR per year) allows 50 accounts, 15 groups and 5 GB and adds VereinsPay, the newsletter tool, SEPA file generation, custom fields and recurring events. Premium (19.92 EUR per month, 239 EUR per year) adds 100 accounts, 30 groups, a bank connection, a new-member form and 1,000 emails per month, with finance, section and inventory management as an add-on package.
Ultimate (49.92 EUR per month, 599 EUR per year) raises limits to 600 accounts and 100 groups and lists a 99.92% uptime. The pricing page also shows a promotional discount code, which we did not count in the list prices.
Hosting
The feature table states the server location is Germany at Hetzner GmbH for all plans. That gives a documented EU hosting provider, which several competitors do not state.
Where it fits
Vereinsplaner suits clubs that want to start free and grow. Its accounting layer is an add-on and the vendor pages are German-language.
Limitations to Consider
Finance, section and inventory features need an add-on package or higher plans. Free is limited to 5 accounts and 1 group. The vendor pages are German-language, and a promotional discount on the pricing page makes the effective price vary.
Who Should Use Vereinsplaner
Clubs in the DACH region that want unlimited members, a free tier and documented German hosting.
