Detailed Review
Advolux was first developed by a team around the lawyer Arne Stocker in Berlin, and Haufe has been its partner since 2008. Today it is distributed by Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG in Freiburg. Its scope is the German law firm: electronic file, beA, fee calculation, receivables and enforcement.
Licences count concurrent users, not named users, and the vendor lists updates, the beA connection and a Lexware accounting package as included. The cloud variant runs in a German data centre operated by osite network GmbH; installation on your own network is also offered.
Built around German procedure
Advolux handles multiple receivables accounts per file, automated dunning and enforcement steps, cost assessment applications and a process register. The beA lawyers' mailbox is integrated, and messages can be sent from the file.
The collision check goes beyond direct parties and can include representatives and group companies, with an optional workflow that locks a file until a responsible person releases it.
Cloud or on-premises
The cloud edition is hosted by osite network GmbH in a German data centre that the vendor describes as TIER 3 and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. A firm that prefers its own server can run Advolux on its network instead.
The vendor offers a 60-day trial with the full version and a free support line on weekdays between 08:00 and 18:00.
Pricing on the page
Prices are published for one to three licences and include annual billing, which makes comparison easy. For four or more licences the vendor asks you to request an offer.
Limitations to Consider
Advolux is shaped by German law firm practice (RVG fee calculation, beA, German enforcement steps), so it is not a fit for firms working under another procedure. Prices on the page cover one to three concurrent licences only. For a browser-first product with per-user prices see Actaport or Legalvisio.
Who Should Use Advolux
Small and mid-sized German law firms that want a stated annual price, a free trial and the option to keep data on their own server.
