European Alternatives to EveryoneSocial
Looking for a European alternative to EveryoneSocial? The privacy policy names Gravit, Inc. dba EveryoneSocial, a Delaware corporation at 215 W Sego Lily Dr in Sandy, Utah, and states that the services are provided and hosted in the United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses used for transfers from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. The pricing page describes one plan, priced by the number of users and sold by quote, from 500-person pilots to 50,000+ users.
The European employee advocacy tools below are run from Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Poland, Austria and the UK. Several publish prices in euros, and two state EU or European hosting.
How we rank these tools — 4-step process
-
1
European ownership, verified
The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Israel, and processes customer data in Europe or Israel. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.
-
2
Category fit and hands-on review
What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.
-
3
Compliance and pricing check
GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.
-
4
Position on this page
Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Vendors can pay for more visibility, higher up on the review pages; it never affects which tools are listed. Editorial policy

Key takeaways
- EveryoneSocial is run by Gravit, Inc., a Delaware corporation in Sandy, Utah, and its privacy policy says the services are hosted in the United States.
- EveryoneSocial sells a single plan priced by user count on a quote, with examples from 500-user pilots to 50,000-plus rollouts.
- Ambassify (Belgium) states that all customer data is hosted within the European Union and publishes an ISO 27001 statement on its pricing page.
- Soworker (€49 a month for 50 users), Sociuu (from €607 a month) and Sharee (from €3,950 a year) publish prices, which EveryoneSocial does not.
- Of the twelve European tools on this page, Ambassify, DSMN8, Facelift and Swat.io state a hosting region, so the other eight need a written answer on hosting.
Why people leave EveryoneSocial
EveryoneSocial is an employee advocacy platform: a company loads approved posts into it, and staff share them to their own LinkedIn and other social profiles with a click. Its site presents four products, namely Employee Advocacy, Executive Activation, Company Page Insights and Governance & Risk Management for regulated industries. The vendor calls it the most adopted advocacy platform in enterprise, which is a claim about its own market position that we have not tested.
The company behind it is Gravit, Inc., doing business as EveryoneSocial, a Delaware corporation with its address in Sandy, Utah. Its privacy policy, effective 9 February 2024, says the services are provided and hosted in the United States and that transfers from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK rest on Standard Contractual Clauses. For an advocacy tool, that means employee names, profile connections and sharing activity sit with a US company.
Buyers who look beyond EveryoneSocial usually do so for one of three reasons. A works council or data protection officer wants employee activity data held by a European processor. The price is only available after a sales conversation. Or the program is smaller than the 500-user pilots and 50,000-user rollouts the vendor says it is built around.
- Employee sharing data is hosted in the United States An advocacy platform records who in your company shared what, when, and through which personal profile. EveryoneSocial's privacy policy states that its services are hosted in the United States and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for data coming from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK. Ambassify and Swat.io, by contrast, state EU hosting. Several European tools on this page do not state a location at all, so ask each vendor in writing.
- Every price is a quote The EveryoneSocial pricing page describes a single plan priced by the number of users, from 500-person pilots to rollouts above 50,000, and asks you to request a quote. The page promises a reply the same business day and mentions multi-year discounts. No figure appears. Sociuu (from €607 a month), Soworker (from €49 a month) and Sharee (from €3,950 a year) publish numbers, so a budget check needs no call.
- The product is sized for enterprise programs EveryoneSocial's pricing page starts its examples at 500 users, and its site talks about regulated industries, executive activation and company page insights. A company with 80 staff and one marketing manager is not the audience that language is written for. Soworker's table starts at 50 users, Sociuu's starter at up to 100 employees and Social Seeder's Essential plan at 100 ambassadors.
- Contract and complaints run through a different legal system The EveryoneSocial privacy policy names a Delaware corporation and splits its rights section into parts for the EU, the UK, Switzerland and California. Your DPO deals with a US controller and a Utah address. A Belgian, Danish, Dutch, German or French vendor answers to a European supervisory authority and a European court, which shortens the path when a data subject request goes wrong.
What you have to replace, not just match
The central job is easy to match: a library of approved posts, a feed that staff open on a phone or a desktop, one-click sharing to LinkedIn, and a report of reach by person and by team. All twelve European tools on this page cover that core in some form. The differences lie in what surrounds it.
EveryoneSocial sells more than the feed. Its product list adds Executive Activation for leadership profiles, Company Page Insights for brand page engagement, and Governance & Risk Management for regulated industries. Pricing includes implementation, a customer success manager and all integrations.
If you use the governance product to review what employees post, the replacement has to be checked for approval flows and archiving, not for a share button. Haiilo, Facelift and Swat.io approach this from a suite angle, while Ambassify mentions compliance guardrails on personal posts.
Also list your own data before you compare tools: the content library, your ambassador list with their connected profiles, the leaderboard history, and the integrations you run into Teams, Slack or a CMS. Employee connections to LinkedIn cannot be moved, because each person authorises the new tool themselves. Plan a short re-onboarding for every ambassador, and keep the old platform running until the first campaign has gone out on the new one.
The alternatives compared

How each alternative compares to EveryoneSocial
Best for: Mid-size and large companies that want an advocacy vendor under Belgian law with EU hosting stated
Ambassify NV in Beringen, registered under Belgian company number 0830.870.128 and started in 2017, covers the same core as EveryoneSocial: campaigns, personal posts, a leaderboard with rewards, an AI assistant for captions and translations, and Microsoft Teams and Salesforce integrations. Its tiers follow company size, from Essential for up to 200 employees to Enterprise above 500.
Where EveryoneSocial says its services are hosted in the United States, Ambassify's security page says all customer data is hosted within the European Union. The terms follow Belgian law. Like EveryoneSocial, it sells by quote, so the price comparison needs an offer from each.
What Ambassify does better than EveryoneSocial
- Hosting stated as the European Union instead of the United States
- Belgian law and a Belgian enterprise number for the contract
- Tiers by company size that start below EveryoneSocial's 500-user examples
- Gamification, rewards and an AI caption assistant described in detail
Where Ambassify is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- No Executive Activation or Company Page Insights products of EveryoneSocial's kind
- SSO and SCIM only on the Enterprise tier
- No evidence on this page of an installed base as large as EveryoneSocial's vendor claim
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Ambassify is the only tool on this page that combines a stated EU hosting location with an ISO 27001 statement on its pricing page and tiers by headcount.
Best for: Companies of 100 to 200 staff that want a budget figure before any sales call
Sociuu ApS in Copenhagen (company number 37652210) shows a starter package from €607 a month for up to 100 employees and €1,400 a month for Growth, which begins at 200 licences. Its pricing page says there is one version with no add-on modules, and that consultancy, training, adoption webinars and quarterly reviews come with every plan.
The content hub is fed through APIs and RSS, so staff pick from a library and do not paste links. Against EveryoneSocial, the gap is breadth: Sociuu lists no executive or company page products. It states neither a hosting location nor a certification, and the Growth price and the free licences apply to year one only.
What Sociuu does better than EveryoneSocial
- A starting price that can go into a budget before a call
- Danish ApS with the company number printed on the site
- Training and quarterly review sessions included in every plan
- Content feeds from APIs and RSS
Where Sociuu is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Hosting location and security certification not stated
- Price after year one not shown
- Narrower product range than EveryoneSocial's four products
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Sociuu is the only tool on this page that puts a monthly price for a hundred-person program next to a promise that all features are on every plan.
Best for: Small and mid-size companies that want a published monthly price and a free pilot
Soworker BV in Utrecht publishes three licences excluding VAT: Small from €49 a month for 50 users, Medium from €149 for 250 and Corporate from €259 for 500. Every customer starts with two free months, unlimited users and no credit card, and the pilot ends by itself unless a licence is chosen. The contract is under Dutch law.
The tool shares to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Twitter (still listed under that name), supports post variants, gamification and white label, and has iOS and Android apps in 14 interface languages. The price table stops at 500 users, which is where EveryoneSocial's examples begin, and no hosting location, certification or registration number is stated.
What Soworker does better than EveryoneSocial
- Prices in euros on the page, with a two-month pilot at no cost
- Monthly cancellation of users under the flexible licence model
- White label and 14 interface languages included in each licence
- Entry point of 50 users against 500
Where Soworker is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- No executive, company page or governance products
- Hosting, certification and registration number not stated
- Corporate licence stops at 500 users, so large programs need a conversation
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Soworker's two-month pilot with unlimited users lets you test a real campaign cycle before choosing a licence size.
Best for: Companies that want advocacy, intranet and an employee app on one German platform
Haiilo GmbH in Hamburg (register HRB 113327) sells Employee Advocacy as one part of a workplace suite that also holds an intranet, employee communications, insights and an employee app. Its terms state ISO 27001 and SOC2 Type II compliance, and integrations include Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. The about page lists 1000+ customers, a vendor figure.
That makes it a poor fit for a team that only wants a sharing feed, because the suite brings modules it will not use. EveryoneSocial is the more specialised advocacy product. We did not read Haiilo's Advocacy pricing tab or find a data location, and prices are by quote.
What Haiilo does better than EveryoneSocial
- Advocacy, intranet and employee app under one contract
- ISO 27001 and SOC2 Type II both stated on the terms page
- German GmbH with register number and VAT ID published
- Separate privacy policies for the service and the website
Where Haiilo is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Advocacy is one module, not the whole product
- Data location not stated on the pages we read
- No prices published
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Haiilo states both ISO 27001 and SOC2 Type II and pairs advocacy with a full intranet.
Best for: UK and international companies that want a vendor to run an executive influencer program
DSMN8 Ltd, registered in Caterham, Surrey (company number 10023376), offers native iOS and Android apps, a web desktop app and an analytics suite, plus managed services and an executive influencer tour. Its security page states an ISO 27001:2022 certificate and hosting in Amazon Web Services facilities in Europe.
The UK sits outside the EU, so UK GDPR and English law apply, which matters for some European procurement rules. Amazon is also a US cloud provider, even though the facilities are in Europe. DSMN8 sells to programs of 50 to 50,000 employees by quote, so size is no obstacle compared with EveryoneSocial.
What DSMN8 does better than EveryoneSocial
- Hosting region stated as Europe on the security page
- ISO 27001:2022 certificate stated, with a named DPO, CISO and compliance officer
- Managed service and executive program on offer
- Plans sized from 50 up to 50,000 employees
Where DSMN8 is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- UK law and courts instead of EU, with an ICO registration
- US cloud provider underneath
- No prices published
Standout against EveryoneSocial. DSMN8 is the only tool on this page that sells a managed executive influencer program from a vendor with a stated ISO 27001:2022 certificate.
Best for: French-speaking companies that want yearly licence prices in euros and a customer success manager
Sharee is run by SO-BUZZ in Marseille (SIRET 538 485 996 00051). The pricing page lists 50 licences at €3,950 a year, 100 at €5,300, 200 at €9,200 and 500 at €16,000, with extra licences from €79 down to €32. Pay As You Go charges only for active users, which suits a program where participation is uneven.
A customer success manager comes with every tier, and a program covers brand influence, internal communication, social selling, employer brand and change support. The site and legal pages are in French, the smallest tier is 50 licences, and hosting of the platform is not stated. Extensions are billed apart and not priced.
What Sharee does better than EveryoneSocial
- A yearly price ladder from 50 to 500 licences, in euros
- Pay As You Go billing for active users only
- French company with SIRET and VAT number published
- Social selling and employer brand programs described as standard
Where Sharee is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Site and legal pages in French only
- Platform hosting not stated
- Extensions not priced on the page
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Sharee's Pay As You Go option charges only for people who actually share, which a fixed seat count cannot do.
Best for: Communications teams that want internal news and external sharing in a single tool
Sociabble SAS in Paris was founded in 2014 by Jean-Louis Bénard and Laurent Gauthier. The company describes itself as self-funded. It turns an internal newsfeed into outward reach: employees find, curate and share content to their networks, and the platform also covers an intranet, a frontline app and recognition tools.
The vendor states ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance and hosting on Microsoft Azure across two regions, without naming them. Prices are quoted by company size, users and modules, and no free trial is shown. Our pages show no SOC 2 report, and the tool leans toward marketing and communications users. We did not verify who owns Sociabble today, although it has appeared under another name.
What Sociabble does better than EveryoneSocial
- Internal communication and advocacy in one product
- French SAS, with GDPR and ISO 27001 stated by the vendor
- Two-region Azure hosting described, as the vendor states
- Self-funded, per the vendor, with no outside investor to research
Where Sociabble is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- No published price and no free trial
- No SOC 2 report stated
- Azure region names not given
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Sociabble is the one tool here whose vendor describes the company as self-funded and dates it to 2014.
Best for: Polish and Central European companies that want a vendor to run the program and train executives
Sharebee sp. z o.o. in Warsaw (KRS 0000733366) sells a platform together with content creation, LinkedIn workshops and Boss Branding for executives. The site comes in Polish, English and German, and the Employee Advocacy page lists employer branding, social selling, investor relations and thought leadership as program goals.
The privacy policy names The Camels as hosting provider, InFakt for accounting and Veracomp S.A. for transactional email, which is more transparency about processors than some larger vendors give. No prices appear, the hosting country is not stated, and the platform features are described less concretely than at Ambassify or Soworker. The offer leans toward consulting.
What Sharebee does better than EveryoneSocial
- Program design, workshops and executive training bundled in
- Processors named by company in the privacy policy
- Site available in Polish, English and German
- Polish sp. z o.o. with a KRS number published
Where Sharebee is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- No prices and no hosting country
- Platform features less concrete on the pages read
- Consulting-heavy, which adds cost for teams that want only a tool
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Sharebee is the only tool on this page whose privacy policy lists its hosting, accounting and email processors by name.
Best for: Belgian and French-speaking companies of 250 to 5,000 employees that value workshops
Social Seeder BVBA in Vilvoorde (VAT-BE 0524.991.813) sells Essential for 100 ambassadors and one administrator, Pro for 250 ambassadors with two administrators, and Enterprise above that. All plans list analytics, two-factor authentication, a dedicated domain and a conversion tracker. The site carries a banner naming Ambassify as owner.
Plans differ mostly in service: technical onboarding, chat support, evaluation workshops, coaching and extra service hours, with separate LinkedIn strategy workshops. No amounts are shown. The privacy statement still names Social Seeder BVBA and the earlier Belgian privacy law, so legal pages may lag behind the acquisition, and the future of the separate product is not stated.
What Social Seeder does better than EveryoneSocial
- Plans sorted by ambassador count with limits stated
- Conversion tracker and coaching included in the offer
- Belgian entity with a company number published
- Sold to companies of 250 to 5,000 employees
Where Social Seeder is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- No prices shown
- Ownership by Ambassify may change the product
- Hosting location not stated and legal pages possibly outdated
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Social Seeder is the only entry here that another tool on this page now owns, according to its own site banner.
Best for: Large German-speaking brands that run organic and paid social together
Facelift GmbH in Hamburg, founded in 2011, sells an enterprise social media suite: publishing, an engagement inbox, paid social management, analytics and governance, with employee advocacy as a module. Its sharing app is Amplify Social Share, and link tracking and an in-app leaderboard are listed. Hosting is in Germany under German DPA terms.
That is a wider scope than EveryoneSocial's single focus, and it fits a company that has not yet chosen a social media tool. It is the wrong choice if you want advocacy alone: pricing is custom and enterprise-only, and the tool is strongly oriented to the German-speaking market.
What Facelift does better than EveryoneSocial
- Hosting in Germany with German contract terms
- Organic and paid social managed in the same suite
- Governance and permissions for large multi-brand structures
- Link tracking and a sharing leaderboard in the app
Where Facelift is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Advocacy is a module of a bigger suite
- Custom enterprise pricing only
- Strong DACH orientation
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Facelift is the only tool here that runs employee sharing, paid social and the brand's own publishing from one German-hosted platform.
Best for: Social media teams that already use an inbox and want a lightweight ambassador feature
Agorapulse SAS in Paris, built since 2011, is first a social media management tool, with the inbox as its core. Its Advocacy feature lets staff share with one click, including from an email link, with up to five copy versions per post and advocate segments. Pricing starts at about €49 per user per month.
Compared with EveryoneSocial, this is a thin layer. There is no executive product and no company page insights of the same depth, and listening is less deep than at specialists. The case for Agorapulse is a social team of a few people that wants one French tool with EU data processing for publishing, replies and sharing.
What Agorapulse does better than EveryoneSocial
- One tool for inbox, publishing, reporting and advocacy
- Sharing from an email link, so ambassadors need no extra app visit
- French company with EU data processing
- Per-user pricing that starts low
Where Agorapulse is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Advocacy is lighter than a dedicated platform
- Narrower network coverage than some rivals
- Per-user pricing grows with the team
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Agorapulse lets an ambassador share from a link in an email, without opening the platform at all.
Best for: Regulated brands and public bodies where posts need approval before they go out
Swat.io GmbH in Vienna, founded in 2012, combines Publisher, Inbox and tag-based analytics with multi-stage approvals and an audit trail. The vendor also offers a corporate influencer solution for employees who post about the company. Hosting is in Austria and Germany, which makes it procurable for public sector buyers who cannot use US platforms.
This overlaps with EveryoneSocial's Governance & Risk Management product more than any other tool here does. The price is the barrier: it starts at about €89 a month, and enterprise pricing is on request. It is heavy for small businesses and covers only the major networks, with less developed analytics and listening.
What Swat.io does better than EveryoneSocial
- EU hosting in Austria and Germany
- Multi-stage approvals with a full audit trail
- Granular role-based permissions
- Suited to public bodies with procurement rules
Where Swat.io is a step down from EveryoneSocial
- Advocacy is not the main product
- Heavy and costly for small teams
- Analytics and listening less developed
Standout against EveryoneSocial. Swat.io is the only tool on this page that puts approval workflows and an audit trail ahead of ambassador gamification.
What actually breaks when you switch
The first break is the personal connection. Every ambassador authorised EveryoneSocial to post to their own LinkedIn profile, and that permission does not transfer. Each person has to log in to the new tool and connect again, so expect a drop in active sharers during the first weeks and plan reminders and a short walkthrough.
Second, the contract. EveryoneSocial's pricing page mentions an annual term and multi-year discounts, so check the renewal date and the notice period before you sign anywhere else. Content libraries, tags and campaign history may export as files, but ask EveryoneSocial in writing what format you get, because the pages we read do not say.
Third, integrations and approvals. EveryoneSocial's price includes all integrations, and a European tool may charge for them or not offer them. List what feeds your content today (a CMS, an RSS feed, Slack or Teams) and test each in the demo. If you rely on the governance product for review, rebuild the approval path first, because that is the part that will be questioned internally.
How do I move from EveryoneSocial to a European tool without losing my ambassadors?
Treat the ambassadors as the asset, because the content library can be rebuilt in an afternoon. Export the participant list from EveryoneSocial before notice is given, note which teams and regions each person belongs to, and keep the leaderboard standings if you use points. Each employee has to connect their own LinkedIn profile again in the new tool, so no vendor can copy that step for you.
Run both platforms side by side for one campaign cycle. Invite a pilot group of 20 to 30 ambassadors to the new tool, send the same posts through both, and compare participation after a month. Cancel EveryoneSocial at the end of its annual term, not before, and ask your account manager for the exact notice period in writing.
Does GDPR forbid using a US employee advocacy tool?
No. GDPR allows transfers to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses, which EveryoneSocial's privacy policy says it uses, and a transfer impact assessment decides whether they are sufficient for your data. What changes with a European vendor is the starting position: the processor is already inside the EEA, and no assessment of US law is needed for the vendor itself.
The more practical questions are internal. Employees decide whether to share their own profiles, and in some countries a works council must approve a tool that logs staff activity. A European vendor does not remove that approval step, but it usually makes the conversation shorter.
Which one to pick
For a mid-size or large company that mainly wants the data to be in Europe, Ambassify is the first demo to book, because it states EU hosting and ISO 27001. Sociuu, Soworker and Sharee are the ones to ask for when you need a number before a call. Haiilo fits when an intranet is on the list, and DSMN8 when a managed executive program matters more than the tool.
For a regulated company, Swat.io and Facelift are the two to test on approvals and audit trails. Sociabble suits communications teams that want internal news and sharing in one tool. Sharebee and Social Seeder are consulting-heavy options for Central European and Benelux programs, and Agorapulse works if the real need is a social inbox with a light advocacy feature. Keep EveryoneSocial if you run a large global program and can accept US hosting under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Frequently Asked Questions
By criterion, there is no single answer. Ambassify from Beringen is the clearest match for a mid-size or large company that wants stated EU hosting and tiers by company size. Sociuu, Soworker and Sharee are the ones that publish prices. Haiilo suits a company that wants advocacy together with an intranet, and DSMN8 suits a managed executive program with native mobile apps.
None of the twelve tools on this page states a free plan on the pages we read. Soworker comes closest: it starts every customer with two free months, unlimited users and no credit card, and the pilot stops by itself if no licence is picked. The other vendors offer a demo on request.
EveryoneSocial does not publish a price. Its pricing page describes one plan priced by users and asks for a quote, with multi-year discounts and implementation, a customer success manager and all integrations included. Among the alternatives, Soworker lists €49 a month for 50 users, Sociuu starts at €607 a month for up to 100 employees, and Sharee lists €3,950 a year for 50 licences.
EveryoneSocial's privacy policy says its services are provided and hosted in the United States, and that transfers from the EEA, Switzerland and the UK use Standard Contractual Clauses. Ambassify states that all customer data is hosted in the European Union, and DSMN8 states Amazon Web Services facilities in Europe. Sociabble names Microsoft Azure in two regions without naming the regions.
Partly, and it depends on what the compliance team needs. Swat.io and Facelift were built around approval workflows and governance, but they are social media suites with advocacy as a part. Ambassify lists compliance guardrails for personal posts. EveryoneSocial's separate Governance & Risk Management product has no one-to-one match on this page, so test approvals and archiving in a demo.
