Detailed Review
Wisembly is built around the live moment. The presenter projects questions, polls and quizzes on the venue screen while remote participants join the same session over video.
The site and platform are operated by Mediactive Events Solutions in Paris (RCS Paris 523 455 566). Its legal notice names three datacentres in Ile-de-France and states that no advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Four plans with published starting prices
The pricing page lists Webinaire from EUR 79 per month for 10 to 1,000 participants, Presentiel from EUR 129 for 100 to 1,000, and Business from EUR 199 for 100 to 1,000. One Shot is a project with a Wisembly manager, and the bespoke tier goes up to 10,000 participants.
Prices exclude VAT and are billed monthly, which makes the entry cost easy to compare.
Hybrid modules sit in the Business tier
Business adds a networking module, badge and access control, advanced video modules for hybrid use and participant segmentation. The page also lists RTMP integration and on-site or studio capture as plan-dependent options.
The maximum number of speakers on stage is 10 for the first two plans and 25 for the others.
Analytics without tracking cookies
The legal notice says the website uses self-hosted Matomo in anonymised mode and the app uses Plausible Analytics, with no advertising cookies on either.
The DPO can be reached at a published address, and complaints go to the French CNIL.
Limitations to Consider
The pricing and legal pages are French-first, with an English switch. The Business plan ends at 1,000 participants, so larger events need a custom quote, and several video features are paid options. Venue sourcing and hotel room blocks, which Cvent sells, are not part of its published product list; for exhibitor lead tools look at Swapcard.
Who Should Use Wisembly
Associations, training providers and companies that hold seminars and general meetings with a room audience plus remote guests.
