Scrive

Scrive is a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS that built its product around a specifically Nordic reality: in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland almost everyone already has a state-backed digital identity they use for banking and tax, and asking them to instead draw a signature with a mouse is a step backwards in both security and convenience.

So Scrive signs with Swedish BankID, Norwegian BankID, Danish MitID and the Finnish Trust Network natively. The signer authenticates with the method they use every week, the identity is cryptographically established rather than assumed from an email address, and the completed document carries evidence a court will accept. All three eIDAS levels are supported, so the same platform covers a routine internal approval and a contract that needs a qualified signature.

Scrive AB has operated from Stockholm since 2010 and reports more than 10,000 customers across 50-plus countries. Pricing is quoted rather than published, which is friction for a small team evaluating it. Its centre of gravity is the Nordics: outside those markets the eID advantage largely disappears and it competes on ordinary e-signature terms.
