Full review
Kinderly is a trading name of Nursery Book Limited, registered in England and Wales with number 08632404. The privacy policy gives the registered office as The University of Bath Innovation Centre, Carpenter House, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD.
Kinderly splits its offer into services for nurseries, services for childminders and Kinderly Learn, a library of short training courses. The About page names PACEY, Achievement for All and Bath Spa University as expert partners.
Kinderly Together for settings and parents
Kinderly says its Together app captures a child's EYFS milestones, improves parent communication and provides reports and tools for running a setting. The app is described as award-winning, a claim we did not check.
The site also lists an Accounts Bundle and a note about Making Tax Digital, aimed at childminders and small providers.
Kinderly Learn and the training side
Kinderly Learn offers bite-sized CPD for individuals and organisations, with resource hubs on behaviour, EYFS, SEND and wellbeing. Webinars and a blog sit beside the courses.
That training catalogue is an extra for early years staff that Brightwheel's pages do not list in the text we read.
Kinderly as a European alternative to Brightwheel
Kinderly is contracted with an English company and shows its registration and VAT numbers, while Brightwheel's pages do not name the contracting entity. Kinderly offers a free 30-day trial.
The pages we read do not show prices, billing or invoicing for nurseries, a hosting country or staff rotas.
Known limits
Kinderly shows no prices, no hosting country and no invoicing or rota features in the text we read. The product centres on learning journeys and parent updates, so a nursery that needs fee billing will have to combine it with another tool. Copyright notices on the pages date from 2018. For billing and rotas see Famly.
