Conceptboard is a browser-based collaborative whiteboard from Conceptboard Cloud Service GmbH, which has its registered address at Mansfelder Str. 56 in Halle (Saale) and a second office in Stuttgart.

The company dates its launch to 2010 and reports 6,500 customers and 93 employees. Conceptboard runs without installation or plugins, lets external participants join through a link, and adds visual task management with Kanban structures and timelines.

Conceptboard connects to Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Webex and Confluence. It is ranked first here because it combines a German operator, its own ISO certificates, a named German hosting location and a public price list, which no other tool in this comparison offers together.

Conceptboard Cloud Service GmbH is registered at Amtsgericht Stendal under HRB 29184, and the about page describes the company as privately held with an advisory board. Conceptboard states that it operates from IONOS and Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt unless otherwise agreed, and the pricing page offers IONOS or StackIT hosting at extra cost on the Advanced plan. The security page of Conceptboard lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019, with TLS 1.2 in transit and AES-256 at rest.

Conceptboard Starter costs EUR 5 per user per month with unlimited boards, 5 active projects and 5 GB.

Conceptboard Advanced starts at EUR 10 per user per month on a 12-month contract for 10 or more users and adds board history, approvals and 1 TB.

Conceptboard Corporate & Government starts at EUR 14 per user per month on a 24-month contract for 100 or more users and adds single sign-on and audit logs. Prices exclude VAT, and there is a free plan plus a 30-day trial. Teams that want to avoid AWS entirely must pay for the IONOS or StackIT option, and small teams that need SSO will find it only in the 100-user tier.
