Helpling as a European alternative to Thumbtack
Helpling covers only one category that Thumbtack lists, home cleaning. Within it, Helpling offers direct booking with visible prices, where Thumbtack sends quote requests.
The privacy policy also lists US tools such as Braze Inc. for customer messaging, with the stated claim that it processes data under EU rules.
Known limits
Helpling is only a cleaning platform, so it replaces a small part of what Thumbtack offers. Provider terms mention a one-off registration fee, but its amount is not shown on the pages we read, and the version of provider terms in the pack is marked valid until 12 November 2025. Hosting is not stated. Compare with Trustoo for broader categories.
