Detailed Review
Figures is organised as a ladder. The Structure plan covers benchmarks, salary bands and analytics such as compa-ratio and range penetration. The Companion plan adds the review workflow, and a separate Pay Transparency plan can be bought alone or on top of either.
The vendor is Figures SAS, registered in Nanterre, with a team of about 30 people according to its own About page. It states that it only stores customer data in Europe, on AWS.
Review campaigns with a budget attached
The Companion plan lets HR set up annual and off-cycle review campaigns, define eligibility rules and track the budget while managers make proposals. Approval workflows have defined steps and roles, and increase letters can be generated automatically.
A sandbox mode allows scenarios to be tested before a cycle goes live, and decisions are kept in a history log so a later audit can see who changed what.
Market data with a Mercer option
Figures sells its own benchmark panel and an integration of Mercer data, which the vendor puts at more than 3.5 million datapoints. Matching of your job titles to the panel is partly automatic, with expert help at setup.
The vendor describes its own benchmark inputs as aggregated and de-identified, which is the answer to give a works council that asks what leaves your HRIS.
Pay gap reporting under the Directive
The Pay Transparency plan produces legal reports by category of worker, adjusted pay gap analysis, remediation scenarios and employee request letters. During a review cycle, the advanced analytics show the effect of proposed raises on pay equity before they are approved.
Figures also publishes guides on the Directive for HR readers, which helps when a project owner has to brief a legal team.
Limitations to Consider
Figures does not publish prices, and its plan table lists many capabilities as optional paid add-ons, so the scope of a quote has to be checked line by line. Mercer data is a separate access request. It is aimed at mid-market and enterprise companies, so a team of 20 people may find it more than it needs; TalentUp is the lighter option. Equity and deferred awards are outside its scope, which is where Ledgy fits.
Who Should Use Figures
Mid-sized European companies that run a yearly pay review in spreadsheets and also need a defensible pay gap report.
