Barcelona, Spain
Founded 2003
Free Basic plan (up to 24 transactions a year), Professional EUR 110 a year, Business EUR 300 a year, excl. taxes
Demo on request
Best for: Small companies and software vendors that need e-invoicing in several countries without a large contract
B2Brouter is a web portal and an API for sending and receiving e-invoices in national and international formats, and the free Basic plan is the reason many small companies start there.
Basic covers up to 24 transactions a year with no time limit, where a transaction counts sent invoices, received invoices and tax reports. Professional at EUR 110 a year and Business at EUR 300 a year remove that cap, and Business adds legal invoice archiving, sending other documents via Peppol and a custom SMTP server.
B2Brouter Global, S.L. in Barcelona says it has offered electronic invoicing since 2003, according to its own about page, and contracts under Spanish general terms. The product range addresses companies, tax advisors and software developers separately.
Besides the Peppol access point and the stated Plateforme Agréée status in France, the pricing page lists submissions to private networks such as Banco Sabadell, Indra, Pagero and Carrefour, and there are pages for Sage, Odoo and SAP. Hosting is not stated, and the integrated products are priced as a separate tier rather than flat fees.
What B2Brouter does well
- Free plan without a time limit
- Annual prices published in euro
- Peppol access point and Plateforme Agréée in France
- White-label API for software vendors
- Spanish company under EU law
Where B2Brouter falls short
- Free plan capped at 24 transactions a year
- Integrated product pricing not shown as flat fees
- Hosting location not stated on the pages reviewed
- Not a tax calculation engine
Standout feature. Annual prices in euro with a permanent free plan, combined with a stated French Plateforme Agréée status, is a pairing no other provider here publishes.
Miraflores de la Sierra (registered office), Spain
Dev plan EUR 0 a month, Pro EUR 500 a month, Enterprise custom; usage credits ("Pops") and EUR 300 a month per additional government app
Demo on request
Best for: Software and billing teams that want to add country-specific e-invoicing through one API
Invopop describes each billing flow as a workflow: a chain of steps such as setting a state, adding a sequential code, signing the envelope, generating a UBL document and sending it over Peppol. The homepage shows the same pattern for Veri*Factu reporting in Spain and lists 30+ countries. For a developer, that makes it visible where a rule can be changed, which fixed invoice templates rarely allow.
The terms name Invopop S.L., a Spanish company registered in the Mercantile Registry of Madrid, while the page footer shows Invopop Ltd, so check which entity signs your contract.
The Dev plan costs EUR 0 a month with 200 Pops, a watermark and a single user, Pro is EUR 500 a month, and each government app after the first is EUR 300 a month. The homepage names NetSuite, Stripe and Chargebee as connectors, and it offers a Peppol scanner, an invoice generator and an invoice comparator as free tools.
What Invopop does well
- Published prices in euro
- Workflows make each step visible
- Peppol and tax-authority reporting in one product
- Connectors for NetSuite, Stripe and Chargebee
- Free tools such as a Peppol scanner
Where Invopop falls short
- Developer-oriented, no finished bookkeeping app
- Per-country fees add up
- Dev plan limited to one user
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. Invopop is the only provider here that exposes the e-invoicing process as editable workflow steps, from signing to tax-authority reporting.

Best for: Small senders on Peppol and platform partners that want to embed Peppol through an API
Qvalia calls itself a platform for business messages, so e-invoices share the network with orders, catalogs and despatch advice, all exchanged over Peppol. Small senders choose one of three Connect plans: Small at EUR 9 a month for up to 25 messages, Medium at EUR 39 for up to 100 and Large at EUR 99 for up to 1,000, all billed monthly and cancellable at any time. Receiving and reviewing e-invoices, archiving and ERP connectors appear only on Large.
Qvalia AB, registration number 556732-1707, has an address in Stockholm, and the facts page states it has been Peppol-certified since 2018 (a vendor statement).
Developers get separate APIs for invoices, orders, OCR and enrichment, a Peppol MCP and a Peppol ID search, with sandbox and API access from the Medium plan. Software companies can embed Peppol through one API, run a white-label portal on their own domain or take the access point role with Qvalia hosting it. Enterprise pricing is quoted and hosting is not stated.
What Qvalia does well
- Plans from EUR 9 a month, published
- Peppol-certified since 2018 (vendor statement)
- Several APIs beyond invoices
- Partner options including white label
- Swedish company with registered entity shown
Where Qvalia falls short
- Message caps on the cheaper plans
- Receiving e-invoices only on Large
- No tax calculation
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. Qvalia handles Peppol orders, catalogs and despatch advice next to invoices, and starts at EUR 9 a month with the message limit printed on each plan.

Peppol for integrators: EUR 365 setup, pay per document, minimum EUR 85 a month excl. VAT
Demo on request
Best for: Software providers that want Peppol and payments from one Belgian vendor
Digiteal pairs a certified Peppol access point with electronic payments and open banking, on the stated idea that joining invoice and payment speeds up getting paid. The Peppol product is described as API-based and invisible, aimed at software providers, with a one-time setup fee of EUR 365 excl. VAT, pay-as-you-go pricing per document sent or received and a monthly minimum of EUR 85 excl. VAT paid in advance. The per-document price itself is not published.
Digiteal SA, enterprise number BE 0630675588, sits in Mont-Saint-Guibert in Belgium, and the site runs in English, French and Dutch. Integrators can add Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, SEPA direct debit and account-to-account payments, and the open banking offer lists account information, payment initiation and a verification-of-payee API with more than 1,300 banks connected in Europe. Modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce exist, and support time for the integrating team is listed at 0.5 to 1 day.
What Digiteal does well

- Pages in English, French and Dutch
Where Digiteal falls short

Best for: Nordic and European companies and software partners that want one e-invoicing provider for several markets
Inexchange (Maventa) is the Nordic provider that says, on its about page, that Inexchange, Maventa, OWS, mySupply and efacto each built e-invoicing expertise in their own part of the Nordics and share one brand from October 2026. The homepage describes a single connection for sending and receiving business documents, covering local and cross-border EU mandates including the upcoming ViDA directive, with solutions for large enterprises, software partners and the public sector.
The structured data gives the legal name as Inexchange Factorum AB, the footer links to Visma Group pages, and the legal documents page still lists terms for Maventa, mySupply and efacto separately, so confirm the signing entity for your product.
Around transport the site lists accounts payable automation, document validation and fraud detection, reminders and collections. Software partners connect through a partner API for B2B, B2C and B2G invoices and orders, with separate documentation for Inexchange and Maventa. Prices and the hosting location are not published.
What Inexchange (Maventa) does well
- Covers Peppol and local networks
- ViDA and compliance focus
- AP automation and fraud checks included in the range
- Partner API for software vendors
- Several languages on the site
Where Inexchange (Maventa) falls short
- No published prices
- Brand merger leaves legacy terms in parallel
- Hosting location not stated
- Not a tax calculation engine
Standout feature. Inexchange (Maventa) bundles invoice transport with accounts payable automation, fraud detection and collections, and merges five Nordic brands into one from October 2026.

Best for: ERP and software vendors that want Peppol plus incoming-invoice extraction behind one API
Dokapi presents itself as the API layer for e-invoicing: one integration for networks such as Peppol, formats such as XRechnung and Factur-X, and local rules in 30+ countries. The homepage states it processes more than 70 million documents a year, and every invoice is validated against country-specific rules before processing, which is meant to prevent rejections from partners and tax authorities.
Dok-api BV in Mechelen, Belgium, is named in the privacy policy as the company behind Dokapi, which grew into an independent company after earlier services, and the footer lists an office in Berlin.
Incoming invoices arrive as XML, UBL, PDF or scanned images and are read with OCR and learning models, then routed by country, format and business rule; the 97 percent accuracy on the homepage is a vendor figure and not independently checked. ISO 27001 certification is also a vendor statement. The approach is pay as you go with no commitments, but no prices are shown, and a small company needs an integration partner.
What Dokapi does well
- Peppol access point and OCR in one API
- Validation before submission
- Supports XRechnung, Factur-X, UBL and EN 16931
- ISO 27001 certified (vendor statement)
- Belgian company with an office in Berlin
Where Dokapi falls short
- No published prices
- Needs integration work
- Accuracy figures are vendor claims
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. Dokapi combines a Peppol access point with OCR for scanned incoming invoices behind a single API, and validates each document before it is sent.

Best for: Multinational companies combining EDI, e-invoicing and tax reporting across several countries
EDICOM runs EDI automation and e-invoicing on one platform, for buyers who need purchase orders, despatch advice and invoices in the same flow. The product range covers EDI integration, e-invoicing and e-reporting, an iPaaS, Peppol access, and trust services such as electronic signature and archiving, and the site lists industries including retail, logistics, automotive and healthcare.
EDICOM states that it has developed solutions for business relationships since 1995.
The legal notice names EDICOM CAPITAL, S.L. in the Parque Tecnologico de Paterna, Valencia, with Spanish law and the courts of Valencia, but local group entities such as those in Argentina and Colombia mean the contracting company can differ by country.
The site carries a compliance calendar, an e-invoicing map and country pages for France, Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, the UAE, Brazil and China, and says it generates certified evidence for every transaction through an accredited trusted third party. No pricing is published and hosting is not stated.
What EDICOM does well
- EDI, e-invoicing and e-reporting together
- Operating since 1995
- Peppol and trust services included
- Country compliance pages and calendar
- Spanish entity under Spanish law
Where EDICOM falls short
- No published pricing
- Enterprise-oriented sales
- Contracting entity can differ by country
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. EDICOM adds a country compliance calendar and an e-invoicing map, including pages for Brazil, China and the UAE, to a combined EDI and invoicing platform.
Ghent, Belgium
Not published on the vendor's site; plans quoted after signup
Demo on request
Best for: Belgian and European small businesses that want Peppol exchange, bank matching and accounting integrations in one subscription
Billit N.V. operates from Ghent and builds its product around being a certified Peppol Access Point, in a market where Belgium requires structured B2B e-invoicing for VAT-registered entities from 1 January 2026 and France follows in September 2026. The product also covers invoice and quote creation, mobile receipt scanning with digitisation, automated bank-transaction matching and more than 180 integrations with accounting and ERP systems.
The company's VAT number is BE0563846944, and the vendor states 314,107 active users, over 7 million invoices a month and over 87 million bank transactions processed. Those are Billit's own figures. Pricing tiers are not published on the public site, so a buyer goes through signup or a sales conversation to see costs, and the founding date is not published either. The interface leans toward compliance workflows rather than general-purpose simplicity.
What Billit does well
- Belgian company (Billit N.V., Ghent) operating as a certified Peppol Access Point ahead of the EU's mandatory e-invoicing rollout
- 180+ integrations with accounting and ERP systems, and automated bank-transaction matching at real scale
- 314,000+ active users and 7 million+ invoices processed monthly, a strong track record for this category
- Mobile receipt scanning and digitisation built into the core product
Where Billit falls short
- Pricing is not published, a buyer needs to sign up or talk to sales to see actual costs
- Founding date not published by the vendor
- Peppol-first positioning means the interface leans toward compliance workflows over general-purpose simplicity
Standout feature. Billit states a user base of 314,107 and more than 7 million invoices a month, the largest figures any provider here gives for a Peppol access point.
Oosterzele, Belgium
Daybook EUR 6.50 a month excl. VAT, cash book EUR 6.50, both EUR 13 (includes up to 60 Peppol sales invoices a year); 15 booking days free
Demo on request
Best for: Belgian shops and small companies, and POS or invoicing vendors adding Peppol in Belgium
Scrada started from Belgian bookkeeping rules: its digital daybook and cash book follow the accounting law and a circular of the Belgian tax authority, according to the site. A Peppol inbox for receiving purchase invoices and sending sales invoices is part of the plans. The daybook costs EUR 6.50 a month excl. VAT, the cash book the same, and both together EUR 13, with up to 60 Peppol sales invoices a year included and a free 15-booking-day trial.
Scrada BV, Belgian enterprise number BE 0793.904.121, is registered in the Ghent register, and the site is available in Dutch, French and English.
Two API versions exist: the Peppol-only API sends invoices on behalf of any company to any company on Peppol, accepts a Peppol BIS 3 file or JSON that Scrada converts, and can check whether a company is on Peppol, while the full version adds delivery to accounting packages and e-mail fallback. Sent UBL files stay available for up to three months by default, and a Postman collection helps with testing.
What Scrada does well
- Digital books and Peppol in one tool
- Low published monthly prices
- Both JSON and Peppol BIS 3 accepted by the API
- Free 15-day booking trial
- Belgian company with register number shown
Where Scrada falls short
- Belgium-focused
- Volume above 60 invoices a year priced separately
- Sent UBL kept only three months by default
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. Scrada is the one provider here whose product starts as a legally compliant Belgian daybook and cash book, with Peppol added to it.
Dublin, Ireland

Best for: Platforms and enterprises that need tax calculation, validation and e-invoicing from one API
Fonoa is the tool on this list closest to the Avalara suite, because it combines indirect tax calculation, tax ID validation, returns and e-invoicing in one platform. The homepage lists a tax engine for 200+ countries, tax ID validation in 120+ countries and e-invoicing across 150+ countries, all vendor figures. Where Peppol access points move documents, Fonoa also calculates the tax on them.
Fonoa Technologies Ltd is registered in Ireland with company number 677236 and a registered office in Dublin, yet the terms of service name the company and its subsidiaries and are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, which is worth reading before signing.
Beyond the core modules the vendor sells Monitor for regulatory changes and Audit for tax questions, states that AI-powered updates keep rules current and marks newer modules such as Agents as coming soon. Prices are not published and the platform is aimed at developer teams.
What Fonoa does well
- Tax calculation, validation, returns and e-invoicing in one platform
- Irish registered company with company number
- Broad country coverage (vendor statement)
- Regulatory monitoring tool
- Fits teams replacing a US tax suite
Where Fonoa falls short
- No published pricing
- Coverage figures are vendor claims
- Croatian governing law in the terms
- Hosting location not stated
Standout feature. Fonoa pairs tax calculation and tax ID validation with e-invoicing, which no other provider in this category does.
Bretten, Germany
Founded 1986
Not published; custom pricing by deployment and volume, contact sales

Best for: Large manufacturers and retailers with existing EDI estates that need EDI, managed file transfer and e-invoicing from one German vendor
SEEBURGER moves business documents between companies through managed file transfer, B2B and EDI translation between formats such as EDIFACT and X12, API integration and AI-assisted mapping, on one platform. In this category it is the supplier for supply chains where a single malformed purchase order can stall deliveries, rather than a portal for sending invoices to small customers.
SEEBURGER AG is headquartered in Bretten, Germany, registered at the Mannheim court, and has operated in business integration since 1986.
Deployment is hybrid by design: Germany or EU cloud, on-premises or fully managed, so a company with existing EDI infrastructure is not forced onto its cloud. The site states a customer base of roughly 14,000 companies, and sales run through a demo and an enterprise process with no published pricing, which is a poor fit for a small team wanting to self-serve a trial.
What SEEBURGER does well
- Deep, purpose-built EDI/B2B translation, not a general workflow add-on
- Cloud, on-premises or fully managed deployment
- 40 years of integration experience, 14,000+ customers stated
- German company, EU jurisdiction
- Handles high-stakes document exchange most no-code tools avoid
Where SEEBURGER falls short
- No published pricing anywhere on the site
- Enterprise sales process, not a self-serve product
- Overkill for simple app-to-app automation
- Interface and onboarding aimed at IT departments, not business users
Standout feature. SEEBURGER offers on-premises, managed and cloud deployment in the same EDI platform, which no Peppol-first provider here matches.
