Our review
Tripomatic is an itinerary planner made by Tripomatic s.r.o. in Brno, Czech Republic. The company lists its registration at the Regional Court in Brno, file C 57944, and a Czech VAT number on its home page.
Tripomatic works from the places side of a trip, where TripIt works from the bookings side. You pick sights and hotels, arrange them by day, and let the planner route between them by walking, public transit, car, bike or hiking trail.
How does Tripomatic plan a trip day by day?
Tripomatic organises a trip into days with drag-and-drop scheduling and time estimates per stop. The routing covers walking, public transit, car, bike and hiking trails.
Tripomatic also shows travel alerts (advisories, severe weather, strikes) for the places on each day, and adds public holidays and festivals to each day.
What does the AI assistant in Tripomatic do?
The Tripomatic AI assistant builds an itinerary, answers travel questions and reads tickets or booking confirmations that you attach, then adds flights, hotels and booking numbers to the plan.
With Premium, the assistant also estimates the cost of each day from the itinerary, and you can replace an estimate with the real price after booking.
What is free and what needs Premium in Tripomatic?
The free plan has no time limit and includes flights added by number, travel alerts, public holidays and sharing. It caps planning at 5 days with activities per calendar month across all trips and shows ads.
Premium adds offline maps in the mobile app, PDF download of the itinerary, document attachments and live flight status with gate and baggage belt. The pages we read do not show a Premium price.
Known limits
Tripomatic does not parse a forwarded booking email the way TripIt does; the AI assistant reads documents you attach instead. The free plan limits planned days per month, and offline maps, live flight updates and documents sit behind Premium, whose price is not on the pages we read. Some sub-processors may sit outside the EU/EEA.
