Detailed Review

Myra AI Workspace is less a single assistant than a governed front door to many. A chat interface with projects, file uploads, image generation, agents and workflows with approval steps sits on top of an AI gateway that routes to more than twenty providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Mistral, as well as open-weight models that Myra hosts itself. Native Android and iOS apps are available, and one OpenAI-compatible endpoint lets existing applications switch by changing the target address.

The distinguishing idea is the colour-coded chat mode. Green keeps a conversation on Myra's own infrastructure with open-weight models. Orange sends it to a frontier model after personal data such as names, emails, phone numbers and IBANs has been replaced by placeholders, with a preview before sending.

Red sends it unmasked, and only where an administrator has approved it. That makes the sovereignty trade-off an explicit policy per team, instead of a hope. Hosting is in German data centres, and Myra lists ISO 27001 on BSI IT-Grundschutz, BSI C5 Type 2 and KRITIS qualification.

The honest caveats matter. Myra says external frontier models may process requests outside the EU, so the EU-only guarantee holds for the green mode, not for all of them.

Pricing is not published and depends on seats, platform and model setup, so there is no self-service price to compare with DentroChat or Lumo. Compared with Mistral AI's own assistant, it is an administration layer more than a model, and the best open-weight models it hosts are not Myra's own. The trial exists, but its terms are not stated.

What Myra AI Workspace does well

  • German company, hosted on its own German infrastructure
  • Three chat modes make the data boundary an admin policy
  • PII masking with preview before an external model sees a prompt
  • Budgets, logging, SSO, SCIM and MCP connectors for organisations
  • Compliance listing includes BSI C5 Type 2 and KRITIS

Where Myra AI Workspace falls short

  • No published prices, sales-led
  • Frontier models in orange and red modes may process data outside the EU
  • Not a model maker: capability depends on third-party and open-weight models
  • Aimed at organisations, little for individuals

Standout feature. It turns the choice between sovereign and frontier models into a per-team policy with masking in between.
