Detailed Review
Koyeb runs applications as services: you point it at a Git repository or a container image, it builds and starts the service, and an autoscaling rule decides how many instances run. The home page describes scale-to-zero and a CPU cold start under 250 ms.
The terms of service name Koyeb as a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €37,518.80, registered at the Nanterre trade register under number 850 183 948 with its address in Boulogne-Billancourt, and they are governed by French law. The site also carries a banner saying Koyeb is joining Mistral AI, and its February 2026 changelog lists a definitive agreement with Mistral.
Compute Billed by the Second
The pricing page states that processing is accounted per second and charged at the end of the calendar month. Its price table is led by GPU instances, from an RTX-4000-SFF-ADA at $0.50 per hour to eight-GPU H200 nodes at $24.00 per hour, and the home page adds that pricing starts at $0.0022 per hour.
Workloads that sit idle can scale to zero, so a staging service or a rarely called model endpoint stops costing compute until the next request arrives.
Plans Around the Usage
Pro is $29 a month and includes $10 of compute, 10 users and 100 services. Scale is $299 with $100 of compute, 50 users, 1000 services, AWS regions and a 99.9% uptime SLA, while Enterprise adds SSO, RBAC, audit trail and ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.
Outbound traffic beyond the included 1 TB a month is $0.02 per GB in the EU and US and $0.04 per GB in Asia.
Postgres and Sandboxes
Serverless Postgres is billed by the second with a free 5-hour tier, and the page lists Frankfurt among its three locations. Storage is $0.50 per GB a month.
Koyeb Sandboxes, announced on the home page, are isolated environments meant for running code written by AI agents, with a CLI and file and command operations described in the docs.
Limitations to Consider
Koyeb's own site says it is joining Mistral AI, so the ownership and the contracting terms may change after the checked date; the legal pages read still name Koyeb SAS in France.
The current Master Service Agreement page did not render without JavaScript, so only the older terms were read. Pricing is in US dollars, the cheapest listed compute on the pricing page is GPU-led, and the Pro plan has a monthly fee before any compute. For a fixed monthly server price look at Sliplane instead.
Who Should Use Koyeb
Developers and AI teams that want French-law hosting with GPU instances, per-second billing and scale-to-zero, and who accept that the company is in the middle of joining another company.
