Review in detail
The Karma privacy policy names Karmalicious AB as provider of the Karma sales platform, Mailbox 163, 111 73 Stockholm, organisation number 559020-0050 and VAT SE559020005001.
Karma started as a way to buy takeaway food from restaurants, cafés and bakeries; the merchant terms describe Karma Save as a service letting merchants sell surplus food at discounted prices. We read the pages on 4 November 2026.
Entity and law
Karmalicious AB is the data controller and the merchant terms are governed by Swedish law, with disputes settled by arbitration at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
In February 2026 the homepage reports that Karma raised SEK 10.5 million.
From consumer app to restaurant software
The homepage now promotes Karma OS, a suite with POS, ordering by website or QR code, kitchen display, loyalty, kiosks, analytics, table booking and an AI voice assistant.
The consumer side is described only briefly in the pages we read.
Compared with DoorDash
Karma is not a courier network. We did not find delivery described on the pages read, so it fits pickup and discounted food rather than a full replacement.
Restaurants can use it for ordering by website or QR code, but commission figures are not shown.
Known limits
Delivery by couriers is not described on the pages read. The homepage focuses on restaurants rather than diners. Prices are not shown. Country coverage for consumers is not listed.
Who Karma fits
Diners who accept pickup and restaurants wanting a European ordering stack.
