Detailed Review
Jobindex is the Danish portal where a job seeker can build a profile, switch on an agent that mails new matches and let employers find the profile in return. The company behind it, Jobindex A/S, is registered in Denmark under CVR 21367087.
The front page showed about 35,400 vacancies on 29 October 2026, with a Danish interface and an English toggle.
Profile and Agent
A candidate can control whether the profile is visible, block named companies from seeing it and receive alerts through the job agent. The privacy policy describes each of these settings in detail, down to what is logged when an employer reads a message.
For recruiters this means that headhunting a Danish candidate happens inside the portal rather than through a scraped copy of a CV.
Application Tooling
Jobindex runs its own application system, and employers can ask for video interviews, for which the policy explains access, editing, deletion and retention. A candidate can also take personality, job-joy and talent tests and use an AI search assistant.
Those extras add material to the candidate profile that an employer on a basic ad would not otherwise see.
Beyond Vacancies
The navigation lists a job ad archive, company profiles, an evaluation tool for workplaces, courses and a programme to help Ukrainian refugees find work. It is closer to a Danish labour-market site than to a plain list of ads.
Limitations to Consider
Most of the site, and all of the privacy policy we read, is in Danish, so an English-speaking recruiter will lean on the English toggle and support. Employer pricing was not visible on the pages we could open, and the data location is not stated there. Coverage is Denmark only.
Who Should Use Jobindex
Employers hiring in Denmark that want access to searchable local candidate profiles as well as ad space.
