Review in detail
Fretello GmbH, Industriezeile 35, 4020 Linz, Austria, publishes the app. Its imprint lists FN411876a at the Landesgericht Linz and UID ATU68524368.
Only guitar is taught. The homepage speaks of lessons, courses and practice sessions made by education experts and professional guitarists.
Feedback while you play
Fretello says it corrects you as you play, so progress is not just watching clips. Songs are tagged with levels such as Medium and Advanced.
A community of 700,000 guitarists is quoted on the homepage; that number comes from the company.
Fretello Pro on trial
Visitors can try Fretello Pro without paying, and the terms allow use either free of charge or for a fee.
Euro amounts for the paid tier were absent from the pages we read.
GDPR and Austrian law
Processing is described under the GDPR and the Austrian data protection act in the privacy policy. Where the servers stand is not named.
Where it falls short
Guitar is the only subject, so pianists and singers must look elsewhere. Paid amounts were not visible, and the terms are a translation of the German original, which wins in a conflict. For several instruments, see Yousician.
Is Fretello right for you?
New guitarists who want a set path, live correction and well-known songs early on.
