Wait Mode, loops and slow motion
Wait Mode listens and holds the song until the correct notes are played. Slow motion, looping and hand selection help with hard passages.
On screen, a pianist's hands appear beside the sheet music.
Free account, paid Premium
Opening an account costs nothing, but the terms say most content requires paid Premium. There are separate additional terms for a Family subscription.
Age rules: 18 and over, or 14 to 17 with a parent's consent.
Controller and servers
flowkey GmbH is the controller, with a data protection officer in Munich. The policy says commissioned providers' servers run the site and app.
Where it falls short
Only piano is taught, so guitarists should try Fretello. Premium holds most content and its price is not in the text we read. The figure of over 15 million learners comes from the company.
Who flowkey fits
Pianists and keyboard players who prefer learning songs from sheet music.
