Our review
Camping and Co is an agency, not a private-land marketplace. The legal notice says the site is edited and operated by Holidays&Co, a SAS with share capital of 298,043.60 euros, Parc Technopolitain Atalante, 7 Allee Metis, 35435 Saint-Malo, RCS Saint-Malo 498 339 340.
It also names the travel agent licence IM 035170003. We checked the French pages on 4 November 2026.
Who runs Camping and Co?
The terms say Camping and Co and TripandCo are brands of Holidays&Co. They name APST as financial guarantee and Hiscox as liability insurer.
The legal notice gives the VAT number FR03498339340 and James Gormley as publication director.
What can you book?
The menu lists campsites in Brittany, Languedoc-Roussillon, Pays de la Loire, Provence and other French regions, plus Spain, Italy and Portugal, with themes such as waterpark, 5 star and pets welcome. A VACAF area is listed for campsites accepting that holiday aid.
The page header says FLEX+ allows cancellation up to the day before arrival without proof.
How does it compare with Hipcamp?
Camping and Co sells stays at established campsites through an agency model, with a travel licence. Hipcamp lists independent hosts and is run by Hipcamp, Inc. in the United States.
The page header on the VACAF area says booking is by phone only there.
Known limits
Camping and Co sells established campsites, so there are no private land spots, and the pages we read are in French. Nightly prices were not in the text, the hosting provider name is cut off, and part payment goes through Alma SAS, a credit provider, whose terms we did not read.
