European FP&A and Corporate Performance Management Software

FP&A and corporate performance management software holds the budget, the forecast and the scenarios a finance team shows to its board, so it contains some of the most sensitive numbers a company has. These European tools cover planning, forecasting, consolidation and management reporting, and each is sold by a vendor based in the EU, the UK or Switzerland.

How we rank these tools — 4-step process
  1. 1
    European ownership, verified

The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Israel, and processes customer data in Europe or Israel. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.

  2. 2
    Category fit and hands-on review

What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.

  3. 3
    Compliance and pricing check

GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.

  4. 4
    Position on this page

Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect the order tools appear in. It never buys a listing: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.

Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Vendors can pay for more visibility, higher up on the review pages; it never affects whether a tool is listed. Editorial policy

Key takeaways

  • Valsight is the only tool in this directory category that prints a euro price for an integrated planning product: Vecto IFP costs EUR 99 per month or EUR 990 per year, with a 30-day trial.
  • Pigment lets the customer choose between Frankfurt and Oregon storage on Google Cloud or S3NS, a SecNumCloud 3.2 certified cloud operated by a Thales subsidiary, and contracts EEA customers through Pigment SAS in Paris.
  • Corporate Planning of Hamburg builds its suite around German controlling practice, and it states that its consolidation is certified under IDW PS 880 and IDW RS FAIT 1 and 4.
  • Lucanet is the only tool in this category that lists XBRL tagging products and ESEF coverage next to planning, while Hypergene offers a deployment with all storage and processing in Sweden.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud comes from a German parent, SAP SE in Walldorf, but its site refers to SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company, so the contracting entity must be confirmed in the order form.

European FP&A and planning software is the budgeting, forecasting, scenario and consolidation software finance teams use to prepare the numbers they show their board, sold by a company established in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, which matters because a plan contains pricing, headcount and acquisition assumptions that many companies prefer to keep under a European contract.

Every European FP&A and planning software tool reviewed

#1 Valsight

Berlin, Germany Platform on request. Vecto IFP: EUR 99 per month or EUR 990 per year 30-day free trial (Vecto IFP)

Best for: Finance teams that want to test scenarios live in a meeting, and small companies that need an integrated plan

  • Operating company. Valsight GmbH
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Germany)
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on the pages checked
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Anaplan, Excel planning models

Valsight builds its planning around simulation rather than budget lines. The model holds drivers, assumptions and measures, and a scenario is a change to those drivers whose effect on the result shows within seconds, according to the vendor. Use cases named on the site include ad-hoc business cases, a rolling forecast, medium-term planning, personnel planning and sales planning, and an AI agent drafts scenarios from a typed question.

Valsight GmbH is a Berlin company, and the site names Commerzbank, DATEV, Siemens and BLANCO in customer stories. Two products matter: the platform for large companies, priced on request, and Vecto IFP at EUR 99 per month or EUR 990 per year, which builds a linked P&L, balance sheet and cash flow plan from a DATEV export. The hosting region is not stated on the pages checked, so ask before a contract.

What Valsight does well

  • Scenario simulation is the central design, not an add-on
  • Vecto IFP has a published price of EUR 99 per month
  • 30-day trial for Vecto IFP
  • DATEV export import for small companies
  • Berlin company with a named security contact (CERT and ISO officer)

Where Valsight falls short

  • Platform price not published
  • Hosting region not stated on the pages checked
  • Narrower than a full connected planning platform
  • Much of the site content is in German

Standout feature. Valsight is the one tool on the list that turns a typed what-if question into a scenario on a driver tree, with a small-company product at a published EUR 99 per month.

#2 Pigment

Paris, France Free trial available, pricing on request Demo on request

Best for: Finance teams that want planning, reporting and consolidation on one model

  • Operating company. Pigment SAS
  • Jurisdiction. EU (France)
  • Where the data sits. Frankfurt (Google Cloud europe-west3), Oregon, or S3NS
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Workiva (reporting), Anaplan, OneStream

Pigment is a Paris-based business planning platform, and its finance page lists budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cash flow and balance sheet planning, long-range planning and financial consolidation as use cases. Reports are built on the planning model, so a board pack changes when the plan changes. The vendor also mentions an AI analyst agent and states SOC 2 Type 2.

Pigment SAS (registration number 852785914) contracts with customers in France, Germany and other EEA countries, while Pigment Inc. serves the United States, Canada and Mexico. Customers choose Frankfurt or Oregon on Google Cloud, or S3NS for French or European sovereign hosting. It is not an ESEF tool, so a listed company still needs a separate filing step.

What Pigment does well

  • Financial consolidation among listed use cases
  • Frankfurt or S3NS hosting choice
  • French company contracts EEA customers
  • SOC 2 Type 2 stated
  • Free trial available

Where Pigment falls short

  • Not a disclosure or ESEF tool
  • Standard hosting on Google Cloud
  • US entity for American customers
  • No published prices

Standout feature. Pigment is the only tool here that offers a SecNumCloud 3.2 certified sovereign hosting option, run through S3NS.

#3 Corporate Planning

Hamburg, Germany Not published on the pages checked Demo on request

Best for: German-speaking controlling teams that want planning, consolidation and reporting on one platform

  • Operating company. CP Corporate Planning GmbH
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Germany)
  • Where the data sits. Microsoft Azure, Germany or another EU country of your choice
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Anaplan, Excel planning models

Corporate Planning is a Hamburg suite of controlling solutions on one technology platform: operational planning, financial and profit planning, consolidation, sales and personnel controlling, risk and liquidity management, and investment controlling. Reporting follows the International Business Communication Standards (IBCS), and the vendor lists more than 350 standard integrations to upstream systems.

CP Corporate Planning GmbH is registered at the Amtsgericht Hamburg (HRB 178472) and calls itself a Proalpha Group company with over 35 years of experience. Its consolidation is described as certified under IDW PS 880 and IDW RS FAIT 1 and 4. The cloud service runs on Microsoft Azure, with the customer choosing Germany or another EU country, so a US-parented provider sits below the German vendor.

What Corporate Planning does well

  • Planning, consolidation, risk and liquidity on one platform
  • Consolidation certified under IDW PS 880 and IDW RS FAIT 1 and 4 per the vendor
  • Cloud data location in Germany or another EU country
  • 350+ standard integrations to upstream systems
  • German company with a named managing director and register number

Where Corporate Planning falls short

  • Prices not published
  • Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure
  • Tuned to German controlling practice
  • Self-hosting not described on the pages checked

Standout feature. Corporate Planning is the tool on the list that pairs planning with consolidation certified against German audit-software standards.

#4 Jedox

Freiburg, Germany Founded 2002 Custom pricing by users and modules Demo on request

Best for: Finance teams that need planning and reporting in the same system

  • Operating company. Jedox GmbH
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Germany)
  • Where the data sits. EU cloud or your own infrastructure
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Power BI, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, Excel-only planning

Jedox joins planning, budgeting and reporting in one multidimensional model, and its Excel add-in is the reason finance teams adopt it. Users enter forecasts directly, the model distributes and consolidates them, and workflow records who submitted and who approved. Scenario modelling lets a controller compare best, expected and worst cases without maintaining three files.

Jedox GmbH has operated from Freiburg since 2002, and the product runs either in an EU cloud or entirely on your own infrastructure. The site calls it an enterprise product, so expect a project, a partner and a quote. Visualisation and ad-hoc exploration are weaker than in tools built purely for analytics.

What Jedox does well

  • Planning and reporting in one model
  • Excel add-in with genuine write-back
  • Workflow and approval tracking
  • On-premise or EU cloud deployment
  • German vendor with long track record

Where Jedox falls short

  • Enterprise implementation project required
  • Weaker ad-hoc visualisation than pure BI tools
  • Pricing not published

Standout feature. Jedox is the one on the list where entries made in Excel write back into a governed database that can run inside your own network.

#5 CoPlanner

Graz, Austria Not published on the pages checked Demo on request

Best for: Controlling teams in German-speaking mid-sized companies that work in Excel and want on-premise control

  • Operating company. CoPlanner Software & Consulting GmbH
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Austria)
  • Where the data sits. Not stated for the cloud option; on-premise on Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Anaplan, Excel planning models

CoPlanner is controlling software from Graz covering corporate and financial planning, forecasting, liquidity planning, personnel controlling, sales planning, reporting and consolidation. The system requirements list clients for Excel (2021 and Microsoft 365 desktop), Word and PowerPoint, plus a Windows client, with a server on Windows Server 2022 or 2025 and Microsoft SQL Server 2022.

CoPlanner Software & Consulting GmbH is registered in Graz (FN 220853i), and the imprint names Thomas Schauer and Alexander Fruehwirt as managing directors. The vendor describes cloud, web and on-premise use, and offers a standard model for a quick start plus solutions for manufacturing and the social sector. Pricing is not published and the cloud hosting region is not stated.

What CoPlanner does well

  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint clients
  • On-premise deployment possible
  • Standard model for a quick start
  • Planning, liquidity, personnel and consolidation in one product
  • Austrian company with register number and named managing directors

Where CoPlanner falls short

  • Needs Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Prices not published
  • Cloud hosting region not stated
  • Site mainly in German

Standout feature. CoPlanner is the tool on the list that publishes its server stack down to the Windows Server and SQL Server versions.

#6 Board International

Lugano, Switzerland Founded 1994 Custom enterprise pricing Demo on request

Best for: Large organisations running integrated business planning across functions

  • Operating company. Board International SA
  • Jurisdiction. Switzerland (adequacy decision, outside the EEA)
  • Where the data sits. European data centres available
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, Power BI

Board International argues that reporting, planning and forecasting should share one model, because separate tools will disagree. Its no-code toolkit lets business analysts, not developers, build the applications, and the platform is used for financial planning, sales and operations planning, supply chain, workforce and retail assortment planning. Simulation lets planners test a scenario against the full model.

Board International SA has been in Lugano since 1994. Switzerland has an EU adequacy decision, so transfers are straightforward, and the vendor offers European data centres and on-premise deployment. It is an enterprise commitment, with quoted licences, partner-led implementation and a timeline counted in months.

What Board International does well

  • BI, planning and forecasting in one model
  • No-code so business analysts own the models
  • Cross-functional scenario simulation
  • European data centres and on-premise
  • Three decades of enterprise track record

Where Board International falls short

  • Enterprise pricing and implementation timeline
  • Weaker for ad-hoc exploration
  • Interface less modern than visualisation-first tools

Standout feature. Board International is the tool whose planning range, from finance to supply chain and retail assortments, is the widest on the list.

#7 Lucanet

Berlin, Germany Basic, Advanced and Professional packages, quote on request, minimum term 12 months Demo on request

Best for: Finance teams in groups that need consolidation and disclosure in one system

  • Operating company. Lucanet AG
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Germany)
  • Where the data sits. AWS infrastructure, data kept in your region per vendor
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Workiva, OneStream, Vena

Lucanet is a Berlin CFO platform that starts with financial consolidation and intercompany reconciliation, then adds planning, forecasting, group controlling and management reporting. Disclosure management and a family of XBRL products (tagger, cloud, auditor, vision) are sold as separate solutions, and the disclosure page names ESEF and UKSEF. The vendor cites 300 or more ETL adapters.

Lucanet AG is registered at the Amtsgericht Charlottenburg (HRB 97214 B), with Lucanet (UK) Limited as a second entity. The platform is built on AWS with tenant isolation and optional bring-your-own-key encryption, the vendor acts as processor under standard contractual clauses, and licences run for at least 12 months. Prices come only from a quote.

What Lucanet does well

  • Consolidation, planning and disclosure in one platform
  • XBRL products and ESEF coverage listed
  • German parent with UK entity
  • Standard contractual clauses and security guideline published
  • Three licence packages with upgrade path

Where Lucanet falls short

  • No public pricing
  • Runs on AWS
  • Minimum term of 12 months
  • Aimed at groups rather than very small companies

Standout feature. Lucanet is the only tool on the list that sells XBRL tagging and ESEF coverage alongside its planning module.

#8 Hypergene

Malmö, Sweden Pricing on request via contact form Demo on request

Best for: Nordic groups that consolidate and report in one finance platform

  • Operating company. Hypergene AB
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Sweden)
  • Where the data sits. Option with all storage and processing in Sweden
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Workiva, group consolidation spreadsheets

Hypergene describes 20 years of experience and more than 600 customers, and its finance product is the Profitbase CFO platform for planning, analysis and consolidation. The consolidation page lists an overview of every entity with ownership, currency, acquisition cost and goodwill, automatic eliminations by counterparty code or account, and drill-down from group figures to voucher level.

Hypergene AB works from Malmö, Stockholm and Gothenburg, and its trust centre states ISO 27001 certification and a solution where all storage and processing take place in Sweden. Pricing is available only through a contact form, parts of the site are in Swedish, no XBRL or ESEF tagging is listed, and we found no single imprint page.

What Hypergene does well

  • Consolidation with automatic eliminations
  • Drill-down to voucher level
  • ISO 27001 stated
  • Swedish storage and processing option
  • Planning and reporting on one platform

Where Hypergene falls short

  • No published pricing
  • No XBRL or ESEF tagging listed
  • Some content only in Swedish
  • No single imprint page found

Standout feature. Hypergene is the tool on the list with a named option for keeping all storage and processing in Sweden.

#9 Brixx

United Kingdom, United Kingdom Monthly plans, shown at $25, $50 and $75 per month when checked Demo on request

Best for: Small businesses and start-ups that need a forecast and lender-ready reports

  • Operating company. Brixx Online Limited
  • Jurisdiction. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA)
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on pages checked
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Spreadsheet forecasts, Vena, Prophix (for small teams)

Brixx is forecasting software for business plans, scenarios and reports aimed at lenders and stakeholders. The pricing page lists three monthly plans with one, three or five plans and forecast horizons of one, three or ten years, and a feature that tracks performance against the plan. When we checked on 27 October 2026 the prices were shown in US dollars.

Brixx Online Limited is named as website owner and data controller in the terms, which are governed by the law of England and Wales. The pages do not list statutory consolidation, intercompany eliminations or XBRL, and hosting is not stated, so this is a small-business tool, not a group-reporting system.

What Brixx does well

  • Public monthly pricing
  • Scenario planning side by side
  • Forecast horizon up to ten years
  • Reports aimed at lenders
  • UK company named in terms

Where Brixx falls short

  • No statutory consolidation
  • No XBRL or ESEF
  • Hosting not stated
  • Price displayed in US dollars

Standout feature. Brixx is the tool on the list that lets a founder compare scenarios side by side on a plan that runs up to ten years.

#10 SAP Analytics Cloud

Walldorf, Germany Not published on the pages checked Demo or trial on request

Best for: Large organisations that already run SAP and want planning on the same data

  • Operating company. SAP SE
  • Jurisdiction. EU (Germany), contracting entity may be an SAP affiliate
  • Where the data sits. Not stated on the pages checked
  • Source code. Closed source
  • Replaces. Anaplan, Planful

SAP Analytics Cloud for planning combines budgeting, forecasting, driver models, scenarios and versions, workflows with comments, tasks and approvals, and dashboards in one cloud product. An add-in for Microsoft Excel lets users enter and update planning data, which is written back in real time according to SAP. SAP also describes AI-assisted prediction and agents for model creation.

SAP SE is registered at the Handelsregister Mannheim (HRB 719915) with its seat in Walldorf. The site refers to SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company, so check which entity signs your order form. Pricing was not found on the pages checked, the hosting region is not stated on the product page, and the product assumes an enterprise rollout.

What SAP Analytics Cloud does well

  • Planning, reporting and scenarios in one product
  • Excel add-in with write-back
  • Workflows, comments and approvals
  • German parent company with a register number
  • Connects to SAP data

Where SAP Analytics Cloud falls short

  • Pricing not published
  • Contracting entity may be an affiliate
  • Hosting region not stated on the product page
  • Enterprise-scale implementation

Standout feature. SAP Analytics Cloud is the tool on the list that plans on the same data as an SAP ledger, from the same supplier.

How do you choose between a planning platform and a fixed-structure forecasting tool?

Start by counting the people who change the model. Pigment, Jedox and Board International are platforms: finance builds dimensions, drivers and workflows, and somebody has to own that model for years. Valsight's Vecto IFP and Brixx are fixed structures. You feed in base-year figures, and the tool produces the statements, which suits a company without a controlling department.

The deciding factor is rarely the feature list. It is whether your plan changes shape every year. A company that reorganises, adds entities or plans headcount by role needs a platform, while a company with one P&L and a cash flow needs a forecast that fits in an afternoon.

What does European FP&A software cost?

Most of the list is quote-based. Jedox prices by users and modules, Lucanet sells Basic, Advanced and Professional packages with a minimum term of 12 months, and Board International, Hypergene, Corporate Planning, CoPlanner and SAP Analytics Cloud publish nothing. Pigment offers a free trial but no price list.

The exceptions are useful anchors. Valsight lists Vecto IFP at EUR 99 per month or EUR 990 per year, and Brixx showed monthly plans at $25, $50 and $75 when we checked on 27 October 2026, in US dollars. For anything above that, budget for implementation partners as well as licences, because platform projects are normally run with a partner.

Where should the planning data be hosted?

Ask for the region in writing, because the vendor pages differ. Corporate Planning states Microsoft Azure with data in Germany or another EU country of the customer's choice. Pigment names Frankfurt, Oregon or S3NS. Hypergene offers storage and processing in Sweden only, and Jedox and CoPlanner can be installed on your own servers.

Lucanet runs on AWS and says data is kept in your region. Valsight, Brixx and SAP Analytics Cloud do not state a hosting region on the pages we checked. A European vendor on a US hyperscaler is still a European contract, but it is not a sovereign stack, and Pigment's S3NS option is the one that addresses that directly.

How hard is it to migrate from Anaplan to a European tool?

Anaplan models do not import into any of these products, so the work is a rebuild. Anaplan describes more than two million deployed models and applications for finance, sales, supply chain and workforce. Lucanet, Hypergene and Corporate Planning replace the consolidation and finance side, Board International the broadest set of functions, and Valsight the scenario side.

Plan one model first, usually the P&L forecast, and run it in parallel for one closing cycle. Connectors matter too: Corporate Planning quotes more than 350 standard upstream integrations and Lucanet 300 adapters, both according to the vendors.

When should a company not switch to a European FP&A tool?

Stay where you are if the current platform carries planning across sales, supply chain and workforce and the finance team is not the unhappy party. Only Board International describes planning at that width, from finance to supply chain and workforce. A move that covers only finance leaves the rest to bridge by hand.

Also hold back if your ledgers are on SAP. SAP Analytics Cloud plans on the same data and has an Excel add-in that writes back, so a switch to a third-party planner adds an interface. And a company that needs statutory disclosure should confirm the filing step: only Lucanet lists XBRL products on this page.

Does the tool have to work with Excel?

For many controlling teams that decides the shortlist. Jedox has an Excel add-in with write-back, CoPlanner ships Excel, Word and PowerPoint clients for Excel 2021 and Microsoft 365 desktop, and SAP Analytics Cloud has an add-in that writes planning data back in real time, according to SAP.

Valsight accepts a DATEV export or a completed upload template for Vecto IFP, and Pigment, Corporate Planning and Brixx work from their own interfaces. If Mac users or browser-only access matter, CoPlanner's Windows client is a limit worth testing in a trial.

How we selected and ranked these 10 tools

Every tool on this page is in the European Purpose directory, which means the operating company is established in Europe and we have verified that from the company register or the vendor's own legal notice rather than from a marketing page. Tools headquartered outside Europe are not eligible, however good they are.

  1. Feature verification (weight: 40%). We check each capability against the vendor's own documentation and product pages, and record what the tool does rather than what the category is assumed to include.
  2. Ease of adoption (weight: 30%). Integrations, published API access, trial availability and how much configuration stands between signing and a usable result.
  3. Value and transparency (weight: 30%). Published pricing counts in a vendor's favour; quote-only pricing is recorded as quote-only rather than estimated. We weigh what a buyer gets for the entry price, not the headline feature count.
  4. Editorial review. Every page is researched and drafted with AI assistance, and the compliance and pricing claims are checked against the vendor's documentation before it is published under the founder's editorial responsibility. The three weights above decide the order; a position is a ranking against the other European tools in this category, not an absolute score.

Vendor-reported outcomes — ROI figures, margin uplift, time saved — are labelled as vendor claims wherever they appear on this page. We have not audited them, and neither has anyone else who quotes them. Read our full editorial process for how pages are re-verified.

Frequently asked questions

Valsight ranks first on our page for driver-based scenario simulation, followed by Pigment, Corporate Planning, Jedox and CoPlanner. Pigment from Paris is the closest to a general planning platform, Jedox keeps Excel as the front end, Lucanet and Hypergene lead with consolidation, and Brixx covers small teams that need a forecast and lender reports.

Lucanet, Hypergene and Corporate Planning present consolidation as a main product, and Pigment lists it as a finance use case. Corporate Planning cites certification under IDW PS 880 and IDW RS FAIT 1 and 4, and Hypergene lists automatic eliminations. Brixx says nothing about statutory consolidation.

Valsight sells Vecto IFP from EUR 99 per month with a 30-day trial, and Brixx showed plans between $25 and $75 per month. The other tools sell by quote.

Jedox supports on-premise deployment and CoPlanner runs on Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server. Board International lists on-premise availability, and Hypergene offers a Sweden-only option. Pigment, Lucanet and Brixx are cloud services.

No. Pigment's default hosting is Google Cloud, Lucanet runs on AWS and Corporate Planning uses Microsoft Azure. Pigment's S3NS option and the on-premise routes at Jedox and CoPlanner are the ways to avoid that.
