European Alternatives to Procore
Looking for a European alternative to Procore? Procore Technologies, Inc. is registered in Delaware with its address in Carpinteria, California, and its legal terms are not readable without a browser, so a European buyer cannot check the governing law from the public page.
Eleven construction platforms from companies in Denmark, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom and France cover the job, from all-in-one site and document tools to specialists in cost control, scheduling and quality, each with a contracting entity in Europe that we could check in a register or its own terms.
How we rank these tools — 4-step process
-
1
European ownership, verified
The company is headquartered and incorporated in the EU, EEA or Switzerland, and processes customer data in Europe. A US parent company disqualifies a tool from this page regardless of where its servers are.
-
2
Category fit and hands-on review
What the tool actually does, who it suits, and where it falls short — checked against the vendor’s own documentation, changelog and pricing page rather than its marketing copy.
-
3
Compliance and pricing check
GDPR posture, hosting location and the prices quoted on this page are verified against the vendor’s public pricing before publication, and re-checked when we revisit the category.
-
4
Position on this page
Placement on this page can be paid, and that can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. It never buys a good review: a tool that fails the checks above is not here at any price, and payment does not change the shortcomings we write about. A vendor can ask us to correct a factual error — not to remove a criticism.
Vendors can pay for visibility on this page. It never changes what an entry says about a product, including the criticism, and we earn nothing when you click through to a vendor. Paid placement can affect which tools appear here and the order they appear in. Editorial policy

Key takeaways
- Procore Technologies, Inc. is a Delaware corporation in Carpinteria, California; its legal pages could not be read, and its pricing is a custom quote based on Annual Construction Volume.
- Dalux (Copenhagen) offers free versions of its BIM Viewer and Field Basic, and PlanRadar (Vienna) has a free trial with subcontractors included at no charge.
- CAPMO (Munich), BulldozAIR (France), Asite and Archdesk (England) publish terms that name a company and a governing law.
- Alasco (finance) and Sablono (quality) are specialists, while Thinkproject, RIB and Causeway are broader suites whose terms and prices we did not read.
- None of the eleven publishes the equivalent of Procore's unlimited-user model, and most need a quote.
Why people leave Procore
Procore is one of the best-known construction management platforms. General contractors, owners and specialty contractors use it to run drawings, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, quality and safety, and project financials in one place. Its own pricing page describes an annual fee per product based on your Annual Construction Volume, with unlimited users, unlimited data and 24/7 support included, and a custom quote rather than a price list.
The company is Procore Technologies, Inc., which the US securities register lists as a Delaware corporation with its address in Carpinteria, California.
Its legal pages (terms, data processing addendum, privacy notice) are built so that the text does not appear without running the page in a browser, and we could not read them. So we cannot tell you which Procore entity a European customer contracts with or which law applies. That is itself the point for a buyer who wants to check before signing: ask for the contract first.
This page lists European platforms with a contracting entity we could check, for contractors, developers and owners. They are not interchangeable: some cover site work and documents, some focus on cost control or quality, and some are broad suites. Eleven qualify.
- The contract terms could not be read from the public site Procore's terms, DPA and privacy pages did not show their text without a browser, and we found no governing law or contracting entity for European customers. Several of the platforms below publish plain text terms with a named company, register number and law: PlanRadar (Austrian law), Dalux for free use (Danish law), CAPMO (German law), Asite and Archdesk (English law) and BulldozAIR (French law).
- Pricing is by construction volume and on request Procore charges an upfront annual fee by product, based on the total value of construction work across your projects, and gives a quote after you describe your company. Unlimited users and data are part of the pitch. Few of the European tools publish a price either, but Dalux offers free versions of its BIM Viewer and Field Basic, and PlanRadar and BulldozAIR let you try before you talk to sales.
- A suite is not the only shape Procore bundles documents, field, and finance. European buyers often start with one job: Dalux and PlanRadar for site work and defects, Alasco for cost control, Sablono for quality, Asite and Thinkproject for documents and data. If you want one system for everything, Archdesk, RIB and Causeway are the broadest here, with different strengths.
- Procore is growing by acquisition Procore's UK homepage carries a banner about acquiring DroneDeploy. Whether that matters to you depends on how much you value one vendor for field capture. It is a reason to ask what data goes where, not a reason to avoid it.
What you have to replace, not just match
List the Procore tools you really use: drawings and documents, RFIs and submittals, daily logs, punch lists, change orders, budgeting, payments. A platform that is strong on site documentation (Dalux, PlanRadar, BulldozAIR) may not cover financials, and a cost tool (Alasco) will not handle drawings. Mixing two European tools is normal.
Run a pilot on one live project before moving a portfolio. Export your drawings, documents and issue lists first, ask each vendor in writing what it can import, and check that subcontractors can join without being charged. Keep Procore running read-only until the first project closes.

How each alternative compares to Procore
- Which law reaches it. EU (Denmark). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Contractors and owners who want to start free with BIM and site quality, then add modules
Dalux is provided by Dalux ApS, company registration number 28509839, Lyngbyvej 2, 2100 Copenhagen. The privacy notice was updated on 24 September 2026. The terms for free use of the BIM Viewer and Field Basic are governed by Danish law, with Copenhagen City Court as the venue. We did not read the terms for paid use.
Its homepage lists Dalux Box for documents and models, Dalux Field for quality, health and safety and compliance, InfraField for linear assets, Tender for pricing packages, and Dalux FM for facility management. BIM Viewer and Field Basic are free, and Field Basic lets you invite all project members for free.
What Dalux does better than Procore
- Free tools and free invitations for all project members, where Procore sells on a quote
- Danish company with a published registration number and Danish law for free use
- Separate modules for documents, field, tender and facility management
- BIM models and drawings are central to the products on its homepage
Where Dalux is a step down from Procore
- No public price list for the paid modules
- The homepage shows no finance module comparable to Procore's
- Terms for paid use were not read
Standout against Procore. It is the only one here where two of the tools, a BIM viewer and a basic field tool, are described as free.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Austria). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Contractors and managers who need defect lists, checklists and plans on mobile, with subcontractors included
PlanRadar is provided by PlanRadar GmbH, FN 400573 d at the Handelsgericht Wien, Schottenring 16, 1010 Vienna, UID ATU68109325. Its terms of April 2023 are governed exclusively by Austrian law with the courts of Vienna Inner City.
The pricing page offers a free trial with no credit card and says subcontractors and watchers are included for free. It lists plans with digital plans, BIM models, advanced data capture, report templates, document management, scheduling and approval workflows. It claims over 120,000 users. Prices are shown with a currency toggle, so we do not quote them.
What PlanRadar does better than Procore
- Free trial with no card, and subcontractors included at no charge
- Austrian GmbH with a register number and Austrian law
- Strong on defects, checklists and reports from the site
- Plans list features clearly, including BIM models and workflows
Where PlanRadar is a step down from Procore
- Per-user plans are priced differently from Procore's unlimited users
- No finance module described on the pages we read
- Plan limits (digital plans per user, BIM models per user) need checking
Standout against Procore. Subcontractors and watchers are included at no charge, which answers the common fear of paying for every outside user.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: German-speaking contractors and developers who want AI on documents and standards
CAPMO is provided by Capmo GmbH, Ridlerstraße 39, 80339 Munich. Its general terms (October 2020) say in clause 16.1 that German law applies. We did not find its commercial register number.
The homepage (in German) says the system knows all project documents and relevant standards and completes tasks with AI. It offers a product tour and calls to book a call. We found no price.
What CAPMO does better than Procore
- German GmbH under German law, with plain terms on its own site
- AI applied to project documents and standards, per its own description
- A product tour you can start without talking to sales
Where CAPMO is a step down from Procore
- The homepage and terms are mainly in German
- No public price and no register number found
- The terms we read are dated October 2020
Standout against Procore. It leads with AI on your own project documents and the standards that apply to them, not with a feature list.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Large projects and public clients that need a shared document environment and bid or permit workflows
Asite's terms are a contract with Asite Solutions Ltd., and article 37 says the laws of England govern. Its privacy policy (version 3.0, 1 June 2026) names Asite Solutions Limited (UK) and lists subsidiaries in the USA, India, Australia and elsewhere, with the DPO at Leconfield House, Curzon Street, London.
The product list includes a common data environment, add-ons for bid management, procure to pay, permits and sustainability, and a marketplace. We found no public price.
What Asite does better than Procore
- English-law contract with a London company
- Procurement, permits and bid management as add-ons on the same platform
- Common data environment for shared documents
Where Asite is a step down from Procore
- Group includes a US subsidiary, so data may be handled outside the UK
- No public price
- Its add-on structure may be more than a small contractor needs
Standout against Procore. Its add-on list stretches into procurement and permits, which is closer to a full project and supply workflow than most here.
- Which law reaches it. EU (France). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Site teams and owners who want site supervision and document sharing in one app
BulldozAIR is provided by Mezzoteam SAS, registered in Créteil under number 344 894 985, with its main office in Gentilly, France. Its terms are governed by French law, and the Créteil courts have exclusive jurisdiction. The French version prevails over translations.
The site presents it as a construction management app for technical teams, with jobsite supervision, document management and collaboration, in a shared space for owners and contractors. It offers a free trial and demo; we did not read the pricing page.
What BulldozAIR does better than Procore
- French SAS with a register number, in contrast to an unreadable contract
- Free trial available
- Terms in English, with the French version prevailing
Where BulldozAIR is a step down from Procore
- The pages we read show no financial or preconstruction module
- Pricing was not read
- The legal entity name differs from the product name
Standout against Procore. The terms name a company with share capital and a register number, and the product name is not the company name.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Owners and large contractors with long asset lifecycles
The imprint names Thinkproject Holding GmbH, Gisela-Stein-Strasse 6, 81671 Munich (HRB 267427, Munich court) and Thinkproject Deutschland GmbH (HRB 231100). The homepage calls the product a single source of truth for built-asset data and information across the lifecycle.
We did not read its customer terms and found no public price, so we do not state its governing law or cost.
What Thinkproject does better than Procore
- German GmbH entities with register numbers on the imprint
- Lifecycle approach from design through operation
- Document and data focus suited to owners
Where Thinkproject is a step down from Procore
- Customer terms and price were not read
- Less field-level functionality described than Dalux or PlanRadar
- Its pitch is lifecycle data, which suggests larger organisations
Standout against Procore. Its pitch is one source of truth for asset data, not a project app.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Contractors who want estimating, cost control, procurement and payments in one system
The terms of service on archdesk.com name the provider as EMS Operations (UK) Ltd, a company in England and Wales with number 10408653, with its office in Leicester. Clauses 22.7 and 22.8 set English law and the courts of England.
The homepage describes construction management software for estimating, scheduling, cost control, documents, procurement and payments. We found no public price.
What Archdesk does better than Procore
- One system from estimating to payments, closer to Procore's breadth than most here
- English law and English courts, stated in the terms
- Cost control and procurement built in
Where Archdesk is a step down from Procore
- The provider name differs from the product name
- No public price
- Ownership was not checked
Standout against Procore. It starts from estimating and payments, so it is built around money before site documents.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Developers, owners and cost managers who want financial control from early costing to handover
Alasco is provided by Alasco GmbH, Brienner Str. 50a, 80333 Munich, entered in the commercial register (number 241713) at the Munich district court. Its homepage describes collaborative AI financial management for new build, existing assets and infrastructure, from early costing to handover.
It is a financial tool, not a site tool: it will not replace drawings, daily logs or defect management. Its terms page gave no readable text and we found no price.
What Alasco does better than Procore
- German GmbH with a register entry
- Focused on cost management from first estimate to handover
- Pairs with a site tool like Dalux or PlanRadar
Where Alasco is a step down from Procore
- Does not cover documents or field work
- Terms and price could not be read
- Only replaces the financial part of Procore
Standout against Procore. It is the only one here dedicated to costs and nothing else.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Large contractors and estimators who want a broad suite of construction software
The imprint names RIB Software GmbH, Stuttgart, entered at the Amtsgericht Stuttgart under HRB 783426. The conditions of use we read apply to the website only and are governed by German law. They are not the customer contract.
Its site lists solutions for design, pre-construction, construction and delivery and collaboration. We did not read its customer terms and found no price.
What RIB Software does better than Procore
- German GmbH with a register number
- Covers pre-construction and delivery in one vendor
- Site offered in English, German, Danish and Spanish
Where RIB Software is a step down from Procore
- Customer terms and prices were not read
- A suite of several solutions, which makes it harder to compare
- Ownership was not checked
Standout against Procore. It spans design to delivery, wider than any field-only tool.
- Which law reaches it. EU (Germany). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: Teams that want to cut rework and keep evidence of compliant work
Sablono is provided by Sablono GmbH, Kiefholzstrasse 3, 12435 Berlin, entered at the Amtsgericht Charlottenburg under HRB 150583 B (UID DE289447404). Its homepage says it helps teams manage quality as work happens, deliver compliant work, reduce rework and create evidence.
We did not read its terms and found no price, so governing law and cost are not stated.
What Sablono does better than Procore
- German GmbH with a register number
- Quality and evidence focus during construction
- Pairs with a document or cost tool
Where Sablono is a step down from Procore
- Not a general project management suite
- Terms and price were not read
- Does not replace Procore's financial tools
Standout against Procore. Its pitch is evidence: proving afterwards that work was done right.
- Which law reaches it. United Kingdom (adequacy decision, outside the EEA). Procore is run from the United States, so the CLOUD Act obliges the provider to hand over data on a valid order regardless of which country the servers are in.
- Source code. Closed source, as Procore is.
Best for: UK contractors, house builders and suppliers who want one software group for several functions
Causeway's legal page gives registered number 3921897 and a registered office at Sterling House, 20 Station Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire SL9 8EL. It lists terms of use, privacy policies, a business continuity policy and a modern slavery statement.
The homepage says its software covers work from design to completion. We did not read its customer terms, found no price and did not check its ownership.
What Causeway does better than Procore
- UK-registered company with a published registered number
- Navigation lists contractors, house builders and suppliers as customers
- Policies published on its legal page
Where Causeway is a step down from Procore
- Customer terms, price and ownership were not checked
- A group of products, not a single app
- Its legal page lists UK policies only
Standout against Procore. It sells to house builders and suppliers as well as contractors.
What actually breaks when you switch
The hardest part of leaving Procore is the project history. Drawings and documents can be exported as files, but RFIs, submittals, daily logs and financial records seldom move as a package, so decide what you must keep and where.
Most prices here are quotes. Only a few tools offer something you can try yourself (Dalux, PlanRadar, BulldozAIR), so budget time for demos, and ask for the contract and DPA before choosing.
Splitting the job across two tools is normal, for example a site tool with a cost tool. That means two vendors, two contracts and a manual link, which costs more admin than Procore's single platform.
Is there a European tool that works like Procore?
No single one matches Procore's whole range. For site documentation, drawings, defects and BIM, Dalux and PlanRadar are the closest to the day-to-day field use. For documents across the project, Asite and Thinkproject are built as common data environments, and for finance, Alasco is dedicated.
Archdesk covers estimating, scheduling, cost control, documents, procurement and payments in one system, which is the nearest to a single platform here.
Which of these can I try for free?
Dalux lists a free BIM Viewer and a free Field Basic, and PlanRadar and BulldozAIR advertise free trials. CAPMO offers a product tour. Asite, Thinkproject, Archdesk, Alasco, RIB, Sablono and Causeway steer you to a demo.
Which are made for contractors and which for owners?
Dalux describes help for construction managers and owners. BulldozAIR's site mentions owners among its users. Sablono is aimed at construction teams on quality, Alasco at those managing cost for new build and existing assets, and Archdesk and Causeway at contractors and builders.
Do any of these have an English interface and English terms?
Dalux, PlanRadar, Asite, Thinkproject, Archdesk, Alasco, Sablono, RIB and Causeway publish English sites, and BulldozAIR's terms are available in English, with the French version prevailing. CAPMO's homepage is in German, and its terms are in German.
Which one to pick
To start free and replace the field and document side of Procore, begin with Dalux or PlanRadar. Dalux has free tools and Danish law for free use, and PlanRadar has a free trial, includes subcontractors at no charge and uses Austrian law.
If you want one system that includes costs, Archdesk is the broadest with readable terms, and Alasco is the dedicated cost tool to pair with a site tool. For documents and data at project or asset level, Asite and Thinkproject are the pick, and for quality evidence, Sablono.
Be realistic about the gap. Procore sells unlimited users and an integrated suite, and none of the eleven offers all of that. Switch if you want a European contracting party with terms you can read, and keep Procore if the single platform and its unlimited-user pricing matter more.
Frequently Asked Questions
There is no single best. Dalux and PlanRadar are the easiest to try and cover site work, documents and defects. Archdesk is the broadest single system among those with readable terms, Alasco is the specialist for cost control, and Asite and Thinkproject are the document-led choices. Choose by the job you most need to replace.
No. Procore Technologies, Inc. is listed in the US securities register as a Delaware corporation with its business address in Carpinteria, California. Its legal pages could not be read on the public site, so we do not state which law its contracts use.
Procore does not list a price. Its pricing page says it charges an upfront annual fee by product, based on your Annual Construction Volume, with unlimited users, unlimited data and 24/7 support included, and that you get a custom quote after answering questions about your company.
