Zoner Studio is the current name of Zoner Photo Studio, a program that ZONER a.s. has developed in Brno since the 1990s. It combines a photo catalogue, RAW development, layer-based editing and basic video editing in one Windows application.
The vendor sells it as a yearly licence, with a monthly payment option, and bundles 20 GB of Zoner Photo Cloud storage and a Zonerama gallery account in the individual plan.
Editing and organising in one program
The plan page lists a full version with no feature limits, AI tools for fast edits and more than 200 presets. Supported RAW formats include CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF, RW2 and DNG, and the system requirements page lists support for drawing tablets and colour management.
Photos can be browsed and managed from the same window, so there is no separate catalogue application to learn.
Licence and what happens when it ends
The licence is valid for one year and renews automatically unless you switch that off. After expiry there is a 30-day grace period in which the program works fully, then it changes to viewer mode where you can still see and export photos but editing is limited.
The licence is tied to your email address and can be used on any number of your devices.

Zoner Studio runs on Windows only, so Mac users cannot use it. Editing is limited once the yearly licence lapses and the grace period ends. It is also a smaller product than Lightroom, with a less developed plugin ecosystem.
