Review in detail
Verowa is Swiss church software published by Picture-Planet GmbH, Gertrudstrasse 17, 8400 Winterthur. The site calls it the clever Swiss church software and lists reference parishes and a monastery.
The privacy policy is adapted to the revised Swiss data protection act of 1 September 2023 and names a data protection contact in the EU.
Verowa functions for parishes
Verowa has a people module where staff are recorded and assigned to events. Worship roles such as readers and altar servers, plus a collection plan, are covered under events.
Rooms and equipment can be reserved and managed for internal and external events.
Verowa pricing by member count
Verowa lists a base licence from CHF 1,500 a year for up to 1,500 members. The tier for up to 3,000 members is CHF 1,980, and above 22,000 members the price is on request.
Each add-on module costs a yearly amount from CHF 250 to CHF 950 by tier.
Swiss hosting at Verowa
Verowa states Swiss hosting at Datenpark and daily backups. The base licence includes all functions, any number of users and rooms, and phone and email support.
Pastoral regions and associations pay a base licence raised by 20 percent.
Known limits
Verowa prices by member count and the yearly entry price is higher than most monthly plans here. The pages are German only and aimed at Swiss parish structures, so a church outside Switzerland may find terms such as Pastoralraum unfamiliar. No volunteer rota feature is named on the pages we read. A broader people platform is ChurchTools.
Who Verowa fits
Swiss Catholic and Reformed parishes and pastoral regions that need service planning, staff and room management.
