Detailed Review
Solibri does not draw buildings. It opens models from authoring tools and tests them: are the properties filled in, do disciplines clash, does the classification follow the agreed rules. The vendor lists IFC federation on every tier and native Revit model federation from Essential upward.
The contracting party named in the software terms is Solibri Oy, Helsinki, and the terms are governed by the laws of Finland with arbitration in Helsinki. The site footer says Solibri is a Nemetschek company.
Checking and IDS
The Advanced tier adds custom rule creation, a clash detection matrix, structured data validation and IDS workflows, plus quantity and information takeoff. IDS is the buildingSMART format for stating what information an IFC file must carry.
Premium adds point cloud checking, centralised validation frameworks, company extensions and an AI-powered assistant.
Tiers and tokens
Prices on the vendor page are starting prices per year per licence in euros, with a currency switch for dollars and pounds. Some automation is metered in prepaid tokens: 5,000 tokens cost EUR 250, 10,000 cost EUR 450 and 25,000 cost EUR 750, valid for 12 months.
The Advanced and Premium tiers include complimentary tokens (1,750 and 17,500 on the pricing page).
Offline and government use
Solibri Security+ is described as fully offline with no telemetry, air-gapped by design and with controlled update cycles, aimed at government, defence and sovereign infrastructure. Its price is on request.
Limitations to Consider
Solibri is a checking and coordination tool, so it replaces neither Revit authoring nor a full common data environment. The useful tiers start at EUR 1,428 a year, and token-metered features add running cost. It belongs to the Nemetschek Group, as do Archicad and Allplan.
Who Should Use Solibri
BIM coordinators and quality managers who need repeatable, rule-based checks across models from several authoring tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Solibri reads and checks models made in authoring tools, including native Revit models from the Essential tier, and does not model buildings itself. Teams leaving Revit for Archicad or Allplan can keep Solibri for checking.
