Detailed Review
Headshotsly is a narrow tool in a category full of general image generators. You upload up to five selfies and get professional headshots back in about two minutes, in styles for LinkedIn, dating apps, real estate, law and healthcare. It does one job, turning a face into a usable portrait, and does not try to generate arbitrary images.
Its main argument is price and simplicity. One photo is free to try without an account, and a pack of five 4K photos costs $4.99 once, with no subscription and credits that never expire. Teams pay per person and get a dashboard, upload links and group photos. That is far cheaper than the subscription-style plans of most image tools on this page.
The trade-offs are clear. It cannot do what Black Forest Labs, Stability AI or Freepik do, which is create any image from a prompt, and it offers no editing like PhotoRoom or Photopea. Its terms name no legal entity and are governed by Delaware law, and its privacy policy lists US providers such as Fal.ai and Cloudflare R2, so the European footing rests on its London base as stated by the vendor.
What Headshotsly does well
- Free first photo without an account
- $4.99 one-time pack, no subscription
- Purpose-built styles for LinkedIn, dating and healthcare
- Team dashboard with per-person upload links
- 14-day satisfaction guarantee
Where Headshotsly falls short
- Only portraits, no general image generation or editing
- Contracting entity not named; terms under Delaware law
- Generation runs on US providers (Fal.ai, Cloudflare R2)
- Prices in US dollars
Standout feature. A one-time $4.99 pack of five 4K headshots with a free first photo is a very low entry price for this use case.
