Detailed Review
Green runs its data center platform from four locations: Campus ZRH1 in Lupfig, Campus ZRH2 in Dielsdorf, ZRH3 in Schlieren and ZRH4 in Glattbrugg. Its imprint names Green Datacenter AG / green.ch AG at Industriestrasse 33 in Lupfig.
The same company also sells internet, TV and hosting to residential and SME customers, so the data center business sits next to a telecom operation.
Four sites, one fibre ring
ZRH1 is described as the top location with three data centers, and ZRH2 as a hyperscale campus with three more. ZRH3 is underground and designed for the finance industry, and ZRH4 connects to the Green fibre ring that makes geo-redundant setups possible.
The company says it offers migration-ready colocation, cages and electricity from 100 percent renewable sources.
Connectivity and cloud in the same contract
Enterprise options include cross connects, SwissIX, datacenter internet and interconnect, SD-WAN and cloud connect products. For customers who want to drop their own hardware, Green sells private, public and hybrid cloud plus the Swiss Cube and virtual data center IaaS lines.
Ownership change
Green says it has been part of the IFM Global Infrastructure Fund since 30 October 2025, and describes IFM Investors as a global asset manager owned by pension funds. The contracting entity remains Swiss, but sovereignty-minded buyers should read the investor page before signing.
Limitations to Consider
All capacity is in Switzerland, which is outside the EU. The group also sells consumer and SME services, so data center is one business among several. The site text gives two different totals for its data centers (six and seven, both across four locations), and there is no price list. For a campus network across several EU states, compare DATA4.
Who Should Use Green.ch
Swiss banks, insurers, integrators and cloud providers that need colocation and fibre inside Switzerland with optional managed cloud.
