Detailed Review
Aletiq was started in Paris in 2019 by founders who had seen technical data scattered between teams, and the platform was launched in 2021 after two years of co-development with manufacturers. Its pitch is plain: one place for CAD files, drawings, BOMs, configurations, instructions and quality records, with every revision traceable.
What sets it apart from the older European suites is how it is sold. The vendor quotes a fixed price for deployment, promises no extra charge if the project overruns, and adds annual licences per user by role. That structure is closer to how Arena customers buy than to a multi-year consulting engagement.
Change control and projects
Engineering change requests and orders run through approval workflows, and revisions can be approved, e-signed and published from the same system. A separate project layer handles new product introduction, with milestones, deliverables and a critical path view.
Validation and signature steps are configurable, which matters to the medical device and aerospace customers the vendor names on its site.
CAD, Office and AI
Native plugins exist for SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Creo, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD and Solid Edge, but according to the pricing table they only come with the CAD licence type and above. Lighter roles can read documents, 3D and drawings, comment, and validate tasks without a CAD seat.
Aletiq AI answers questions across product data and compares two documents, for example a procedure against a standard. Generating documents with AI is reserved for higher licence tiers.
Rollout and security
The vendor states two hours of training per user and about two months of deployment per site. Security claims on its pages are ISO 27001 certification, role-based access rules, HTTPS in transit and AES on its servers.
The site does not name a hosting region for customer data, only that data is replicated six times in different geographical regions, so a data residency question belongs in the first call.
Limitations to Consider
Prices are not published; you get a quote after a 30-minute call. The vendor reports more than 20 customers, so the track record is shorter than that of CONTACT Elements or Dassault ENOVIA. No hosting region is stated, and the website footer also lists a New York office next to the Paris registered seat.
Who Should Use Aletiq
Mid-sized manufacturers in regulated or high-mix sectors that want a cloud PLM with a fixed rollout price and CAD plugins, and that are comfortable asking for the data location in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
A quote has two parts: a fixed-price deployment covering use-case analysis, data model, setup, migration, connectors and training, and annual licences per user by role. Storage, support, training and the AI features are included in every subscription.
Its pricing table lists native plugins for SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Creo, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD and Solid Edge. These come with the CAD licence type and the admin type, not with the viewer or manager types.
For BOM, document and change management it covers the same needs, and it is contracted from a French SAS rather than from PTC in the United States. Arena's supply chain intelligence and QMS modules have no direct counterpart on the Aletiq site.
