Every European integration platforms (iPaaS) tool reviewed
Groningen, Netherlands
Founded 2016
Connect Lite from EUR 499 each month; Connect Core priced to scope
No free tier or trial published
Best for: Commerce and ERP integration projects that want a stated price, three environments and a service level
Alumio is a Dutch integration platform aimed at the layer between ERP, PIM, warehouse and webshop systems. The plan descriptions assume sandbox and production environments, monitoring with logging and alerts, and an audit trail of changes on the higher tier. A project with a go-live date is the expected buyer, which sets it apart from the desk-level automation tools in this list.
Alumio B.V. is based in Groningen, was founded in 2016, and has offices in Hamburg, London and Stockholm. Its terms are under Dutch law and it holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Connect Lite begins at EUR 499 per month, while Connect Core is scoped per project and adds a 99.9% SLA, dedicated environments and role-based access control. Hosting is EU by default on AWS, with other AWS regions on request, so a US cloud provider remains a sub-processor.
What Alumio does well
- Published starting price of EUR 499 per month
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate
- Sandbox, UAT and production environments, 99.9% SLA on Connect Core
- Logging, alerts and a full audit trail of changes
- Dutch company under Dutch law, EU hosting by default
Where Alumio falls short
- Infrastructure is AWS, so a US provider sits beneath a Dutch vendor
- No free tier and no published trial
- Connect Core cost depends on a sales conversation
- Cloud service only, with no self-hosting
- More than a small team needs for simple app-to-app flows
Standout feature. Alumio is the one iPaaS in this list that opens with a stated monthly price and a staged environment model for ERP and webshop projects.
Finland
Founded 1988
Four tiers (Growth, Business, Enterprise, Enterprise Infinity), each quoted individually
No free tier or trial published
Best for: Nordic and other large organisations connecting cloud services to systems that cannot be exposed to the internet
Frends is a Finnish enterprise iPaaS whose design assumes a hybrid estate. A small agent installed inside your network talks outward to the cloud control plane over TLS, which is how flows reach older systems that will never be reachable from the internet. The product also includes long-running BPMN-style processes, a visual data mapper and CI/CD pipelines, and lists an API management add-on.
The company, Frends Technology Oy, traces its origins to 1988 and became a standalone iPaaS in 2022 after being owned by the Swedish consultancy HiQ from 2010. Contracts run under Finnish law with arbitration in Helsinki, and the vendor states that its own processing takes place in Ireland. On the Enterprise plan the customer chooses an Azure region. Four tiers, from Growth to Enterprise Infinity, are all quoted on request, and no certification is published.
What Frends does well
- Agent behind the firewall reaches systems that stay off the internet
- Long-running processes and an API management add-on in the same platform
- Azure region chosen by the customer on the Enterprise plan
- Finnish law and arbitration in Helsinki
- Built-in CI/CD pipelines and visual data mapper
Where Frends falls short
- Runs on Microsoft Azure, so a US provider sits beneath a Finnish vendor
- Every tier is quoted on request and no free trial exists
- No security certification published on the pages checked
- Too much machinery for a team automating a few apps
Standout feature. Frends is built for estates where part of the landscape stays permanently behind the firewall, and its on-premises agent is the mechanism that makes that workable.
Berlin, Germany
Founded 2019
Community Edition free when self-hosted; Cloud from about EUR 24 each month; Enterprise priced individually
Walkthrough booked through sales
Best for: Technical teams that want workflows and credentials to stay on servers they control
n8n is a workflow engine with a visual node editor, code nodes in JavaScript and Python, and AI agent nodes, built by n8n GmbH in Berlin. The whole engine can be installed on your own servers, which means the credentials for every connected system remain in your environment. The vendor also sells a managed cloud on Microsoft Azure in the EU, with Frankfurt named on its pricing FAQ.
n8n was founded in 2019. The Community Edition is free for internal use, and the code is under the Sustainable Use Licence, so it is source-available, not open source in the classic sense, and you may not resell it as a hosted service.
Cloud plans start from about EUR 24 per month, billed per execution, and self-hosted Business and Enterprise plans are available. It is a general automation tool, so API governance and a vendor-run operations team are not part of the offer.
What n8n does well
- Self-hosting is free and has no task limits
- Code nodes in JavaScript and Python inside the editor
- Native AI agent and LangChain nodes
- Per-execution billing in the cloud
- Berlin-based company under EU law
Where n8n falls short
- Self-hosting needs real operations effort
- Takes longer to learn than Zapier
- The Sustainable Use Licence is not classic open source
Standout feature. n8n is the only tool in this list you can put into production at no licence cost on your own server.
Croydon, United Kingdom
Founded 2013
Native embedded iPaaS from $1,595 each month pay-as-you-go, $2,595 Growth, $7,195 Scale
No self-serve trial; a scoped proof of concept with training instead
Best for: SaaS vendors that need a branded integrations marketplace inside their own product
Cyclr is an embedded iPaaS, which means the buyer is a software company and the users are that company's customers. They connect your product to their CRM, accounting package or help desk from within your interface, using Cyclr's 600+ connectors, multi-tenant accounts and private deployment options. As a replacement for an internal ERP integration it is the wrong shape.
Cyclr Systems Limited is a British company in Croydon, established in 2013, and its terms fall under the laws of England and Wales.
It publishes prices: the native embedded product is $1,595 per month pay-as-you-go, $2,595 for Growth and $7,195 for Scale, with service-embedded and MCP products priced separately. Hosting runs on AWS with UK, EU or US selectable, and enterprise plans can be self-hosted or run in a managed private cloud. There is no self-serve trial, only a scoped proof of concept.
What Cyclr does well
- Built to embed integrations in your own product with your branding
- Prices are published, which embedded competitors rarely do
- UK, EU or US hosting selectable, with private cloud on enterprise plans
- Custom connector toolkit for APIs outside the catalogue
- British company under English law, established 2013
Where Cyclr falls short
- AWS infrastructure, so a US provider sits beneath a British vendor
- Pricing starts at $1,495 a month, out of proportion for internal automation
- No self-serve trial; a proof of concept comes first
- UK jurisdiction rather than EU may matter for some procurement rules
Standout feature. Cyclr is the product on this list sold to product teams, with the end users of its flows being someone else's customers.
Bonn, Germany
Founded 2013
Quoted per deployment and volume
14-day free trial
Best for: Software vendors embedding integrations, and teams that want to trial a German iPaaS first
elastic.io is a German integration platform with 250+ connectors that supports flows between cloud services and on-premises systems. It has an embedded option in which a software vendor offers integrations under its own brand, and the connector SDK is open source, so your developers can write connectors for systems the standard catalogue lacks.
elastic.io GmbH is part of the Ceyoniq group within Kyocera Document Solutions and was founded in 2013. On-premise and private cloud deployment are supported, which the tool page notes is often decisive in German public sector, healthcare and banking sales. A 14-day free trial is offered. The vendor's price calculator is rendered in the browser, so no figures were verified, and the hosting region was not confirmed.
What elastic.io does well
- White-label use inside your own product
- On-premise and private cloud deployment
- Connector SDK published as open source
- Customer isolation designed into the platform
- German company with German hosting options
Where elastic.io falls short
- Relevant mainly to software vendors
- Quoted pricing and a longer sales cycle
- Fewer connectors than the global iPaaS vendors
Standout feature. elastic.io combines an open-source connector SDK with a white-label route, so a vendor can extend the catalogue itself.
Bretten, Germany
Founded 1986
Unpublished; quoted per deployment and volume through sales
Walkthrough booked through sales
Best for: Enterprises whose partner traffic is mostly EDI documents and file transfers
SEEBURGER is a Bretten-based platform that puts B2B/EDI, managed file transfer, API integration and iPaaS in one product. Its strength is translating business documents between formats such as EDIFACT and X12, including AI-assisted mapping, where a single malformed purchase order can halt a supply chain. Most workflow tools in this list do not attempt that depth.
SEEBURGER AG was founded in 1986 and states more than 14,000 customers, a vendor claim. It can be deployed in a German or EU cloud, hybrid or on-premises, and its iPaaS is listed as running on AWS. No prices are published, the sale goes through sales, and the interface is aimed at IT departments rather than business users, so simple app-to-app automation would be oversized.
What SEEBURGER does well
- Purpose-built EDI and B2B translation rather than an add-on module
- Cloud, on-premises or fully managed deployment
- About 40 years of integration experience, 14,000+ customers stated by the vendor
- German company under EU law
- Handles high-stakes document exchange that no-code tools avoid
Where SEEBURGER falls short
- No price published anywhere on the site
- Enterprise sales process, not a self-serve product
- Too heavy for simple app-to-app automation
- Onboarding aimed at IT departments, not business users
Standout feature. SEEBURGER is the one platform here designed from the start for exchanging business documents between companies.
Or Yehuda, Israel
Quoted on request
Walkthrough booked through sales
Best for: Mid-size and large organisations with SAP, JD Edwards or Dynamics 365 landscapes
Magic xpi is the integration engine of Magic Software Enterprises Ltd., with flows designed code-free and custom code allowed where the wizards stop. The product has a visual data mapper, 100+ certified connectors, a web dashboard with monitoring and alerts, and a REST-scripted Cloud Manager. Deployment is on-premises, in the cloud, hybrid or Kubernetes-based cloud native.
The vendor is in Or Yehuda, Israel; its website terms name Tel Aviv courts and Israeli law. Israel counts as European for this directory, though it sits outside the EU and EEA. Magic does not publish prices, and its connector catalogue is smaller than that of SaaS-first tools such as Cyclr. The emphasis on ERP landscapes makes it heavier than n8n for lightweight automation.
What Magic xpi does well
- Cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployment
- Code-free design with custom code where needed
- 100+ certified pre-built connectors
- Monitoring and alerts in a web dashboard
- Kubernetes-based option with REST-scripted deployment
Where Magic xpi falls short
- Prices are only available on request
- Connector catalogue smaller than SaaS-first platforms
- ERP orientation is heavy for simple automations
- The vendor is in Israel, outside the EU
Standout feature. Magic xpi is the ERP-oriented engine on this list that you can run on Kubernetes under your own control.
Dublin, Ireland
Founded 2018
Free tier (3 live workflows, unlimited users); paid plans quoted individually
Walkthrough booked through sales
Best for: Security and IT operations teams that want auditable no-code automation with a free start
Tines is a workflow builder drawn as a directed graph of actions, which suits incident response where an alert may close itself or escalate. It lists unlimited connectors and the option to bring your own AI model, and it came from security operators. For ERP master data or partner documents it is not the intended tool.
Tines Limited is based in Dublin and was founded in 2018. Its terms apply an Irish entity to customers domiciled outside North America and a US Delaware entity to North America, and the text uses different entity labels in places, so confirm which one signs your contract. A free tier gives 3 live workflows and unlimited users, SOC 2 Type II is stated, and paid plans are quoted on request.
What Tines does well
- Graph-based builder fits how incident response branches
- Free tier with unlimited users and 3 live workflows
- SOC 2 Type II stated, audited yearly
- Irish entity for customers outside North America
- Designed for security and IT operations
Where Tines falls short
- No prices published beyond the free tier
- Narrower general-business connector catalogue than n8n
- Aimed at security and IT work more than sales or marketing
Standout feature. Tines is the only integration tool on this list that was designed first for security incident-response branching.
Norway

Best for: Organisations that need one data hub keeping master data aligned across many systems
Sesam takes a different route from the flow builders in this category. Its Sesam Hub stores a copy of the data from each connected system and synchronises it in both directions, so a change in one place reaches the others without a custom link between each pair. The connected systems themselves stay untouched, and the vendor publishes a documentation portal.
The company, Sesam.io AS, has organisation number 922 409 676 and is Norwegian, which places it in the EEA but outside the EU. Its about page states that it merged into its long-standing parent Bouvet on 1 January 2025, so the product now sits in a consultancy group. Pricing, hosting region and connector counts are not visible on the pages checked, and the hub design copies data into a central store, which has its own data protection implications.
What Sesam does well
- Two-way synchronisation between connected systems
- No changes needed in the connected systems
- Norwegian vendor inside the EEA
- Public documentation portal
- Trial route shown on the homepage
Where Sesam falls short
- No pricing published
- Little public detail on hosting and connectors
- Ownership changed with the 2025 merger into Bouvet
- The hub model suits event-driven automation less well
Standout feature. Sesam treats integration as keeping data consistent in a central hub, where every other tool here passes messages between systems.
Helsinki, Finland
Unpublished; the vendor describes a single price for platform, operations and experts
Walkthrough booked through sales
Best for: IT service providers and IT departments whose ticketing and monitoring integrations must keep running
ONEiO sells an outcome and not a toolbox. The vendor describes a managed integration service in which it plans, builds, monitors and operates the integrations on its own Integration Ops platform, with 24/7 operations. Its published integration list is weighted to service management: ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, Topdesk and BMC Remedy, plus Salesforce and Slack, and the vendor says any system with an API can be connected.
ONEiO Cloud Oy is based in Helsinki, with a German subsidiary, ONEiO Cloud GmbH, in the imprint. Its security page states GDPR compliance and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification held since 2022. The vendor says one price covers platform, operations and experts, but no figure is published, and the hosting region was not stated. Because the service is operated for you, you give up some control over how flows are built.
What ONEiO does well
- Finnish vendor with a German subsidiary
- Vendor runs the full lifecycle of each integration
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 since 2022
- Long list of named ITSM integrations
- Any system with an API can be integrated, according to the vendor
Where ONEiO falls short
- No pricing published
- Catalogue centred on IT service management
- Less control than with a platform you operate
- Hosting region not stated on the pages checked
Standout feature. ONEiO is the one vendor here whose contract covers the monitoring and on-call work as well as the software.
