We researched it closely, and on its own site the company now states it is headquartered in both New York and Brussels, with its website terms governed by New York law — a genuine dual headquarters, not a shell, but one that does not meet a strict single-country EU test.

Ataccama (Prague, Czech Republic) has the same structural issue: a significant Boston, US office alongside its Czech legal base. Denodo lists three co-equal regional headquarters (Spain, US, Singapore), with no single EU home.

Zeenea, a French data catalog vendor, was acquired by Actian (itself owned by the Indian multinational HCLSoftware) in 2024; its site now redirects entirely and the brand no longer operates independently. Castor (CastorDoc), a Belgian vendor, was acquired by Coalesce Automation (a US company) and rebranded "Coalesce Catalog."
