Detailed Review
Buienradar's footer names RTL Nederland as the copyright holder for 2006 to 2026 and mentions CLT-UFA S.A. The privacy statement contact is privacy@rtl.nl.
The site states that radar images are free for everyone and that advertising pays for maintenance and development.
Radar-first design
The menu lists current weather, forecasts, precipitation, sun and clouds, temperature, wind and health, plus separate pages for the Netherlands and for continents.
Ads and Premium
A banner asks visitors who block ads to allow Buienradar. A Buienradar Premium page is linked from the menu, but no price appeared in the text we read.
Buienradar next to AccuWeather
Buienradar does one thing, Dutch rain, in a very focused way. AccuWeather's global coverage is something we could not compare.
Limitations to Consider
The contracting entity is named only as RTL Nederland in the footer, without a register number in the text we read. Premium prices, app details and the data location were not shown, and the site is in Dutch.
Who Should Use Buienradar
People in the Netherlands who mostly want to know when it will rain.
